The Konti Knight listened silently to both explanations, her bare hint of a smile not even twitching at Jokor's mention of Runas using magic. As they both finished their words to her she gave a small nod. "Well, it seems we have a few misunderstandings here," the Konti finally spoke, her voice still calm though containing just a hint of amusement, "Young sir," her violet eyes turned to Jokor, "This woman was most likely reaching for you to take your arm and bring you out to dance. It is certainly a common enough sight to see during these celebrations. I would think most other young men, standing alone outside the dancing, would be happy to accept the companionship of an attractive woman." The woman then turned her gaze to Runas, and this time her ghost of a smile did fall, leaving her with a more neutral expression, "You, miss, seem to be confused as to how things work here in Syliras. While you might have acted out of kindness there are no small amount of Knights that would haul you off to the Tank for what you have done. Forcing someone into something against their will," her words and face briefly took on a sense of gravity, "especially when involving magic, is not something that is acceptable in Syliras. In the future it would be best to use words, rather than actions." The woman fell silent for a moment, passing over them each one last time, and then gave a small nod as her faint smile returned, "Now, if there is nothing else, you're welcome to return to the celebration. Please refrain from causing any more disturbances though. I don't like to see my kindness wasted." |
