Seeking adventure/companions in Alvadas

Douglas is looking to increase his knowledge of the world, and make a name for himself after dedicating most of his life to education. Depending on who comes in, we can come up with something creative to do.

Douglas is rather calm and intelligent young man looking to grab hold of some sort of power and make a difference in our world, shape something in his image. Whether that will be good or bad remains to be decided. Travelling companion(s), teacher, enemy, peer, anyone is welcome!

At the time of the last post I made with him months ago, he was in Syliras. So I figure that a few months of real time is more than enough time for him to travel to wherever he might have to go for a topic.

lol true. Well which one tickles your fancy? Personally I suggest either Alvadas, Zeltiva or the Spire. All those are awesome. I say pick a place first and see who is all there. OR you could accept bribes and take suggestions for cities.

Just make sure to pick a place with an active storyteller, or multiple ones.

Nothing is more disheartening than going to a place, and having to wait months for a modded thread to get one reply, or to get something graded.

If that happens, you tend to lose motivation fast, and lose interest in rping... very sad.

On another note, I am also in Alvadas, which has two storytellers, one which is very active. Though you can go where ever of course...

Geography doesn't bother me, activity does. I want to go somewhere active, I can concoct a plotline from there.

Well Alvadas is a good place. There are a lot of active rpers there, with diverse skill groups, and a lot of new locations being made.

I find I do not lack for want of rp partners there. And it has a library! A lot of interesting things, the city of illusions is quite a fun place to stay.

I'm definitely interested in role-playing in Alvadas. This PC is a crazy little clay doll, and has a very high opinion of herself not to mention illusions of grandeur. She likes to talk about intellectual things, but is quick to anger when her opinions are challenged. She also has some sort of blood fetish, she loves to see wounds. Still, she's really fun to play with, let me know if you're interested in starting a thread!
