Bob followed the boy's movements. With his eyes looking at where he was trying to go, and with his sword still pointed at the throat and ready to strike. Thankfully the boy put his blade away. Bob would not have to fight or anything else today after all and get on with his life.
He was about to put away his sword when he saw the boy's expression. Eyes darting between Bob and something else behind him. Perhaps the man was not dead yet. If Bob tried to help him he might be able to get something out of him. Something valuable since that man was seen as a valid target for a mugging? The expectation of profit got to Bob's head as he forgot about the boy. "Fine, fine go. Just remember if you try to attack me next time it won't be so nice." the boy's experience today will serve him as a reminder should he meet Bob the next time, if not his words.
When he turned around to look, he saw that the man coming was not the victim but another. Its unmistakable. He was healthy enough and not bloodied, with a blade in hand even. Didn't Bob have enough of those sharp things today? But if the man was targeting the boy, Bob should be safe.
Bob kept back his sword into his cane. "I see you want to get this mugger here. But shouldn't we help your friend over there?" Bob asked with a smile on his face. But the only response he got was a grunt when the man shoved Bob away making him fall on his bottom. The brute had a one track mind it seems. The boy with the blood on his hands. Very well. Bob won't interfere when it comes to this. Not unless somehow the action gets drawn to him.
