*Gnaws on his bone by the massive fireplace while a old man sits in a chair just behind him, idly smoking a pipe*
Erm.. well, yes sometimes that throw rug made of some bear the old guy killed along time ago is quite comfortable, and I am not ashamed of such a subservient position.
Now on to more important business. We are all animals are we not? Do not we suffer prejudice on a daily basis due to our race whether it be more directed to our species, or our obviously simple way of looking at things. I say people need to take a good long meditation break, and start looking at things a little bit like we do. After all, if I see a injured human all alone, and I haven't eaten in five days, I'm going to try and kill him, and then eat him as is natural. Other races should do the same, but not take it as far as those creepy zith.
We do not kill for pleasure, we kill out of necessity through no fault of reason. No ulterior motives plague us like they do other races, and in much the same way the temptations that might affect a human have no such power over us. Sure we are slaves to our desires, and to have that coupled with that blasted meddling of Marcus Kelvic our minds can come to be a bit more complex than that of our more natural brethren but I say we use that extra knowledge and enhanced ability to learn to better the lives of our animal companions. We are animals through and through, and it's time we started helping out or friends in the wild more.
I propose these thread goals for Kelvics everywhere to take and choose as you please as a way to spice up our way of things.
Prey Animals:
- Guide a fellow prey animal to a source of food, and help prevent malnourishment! (Non-Kelvic animal if applicable)
- Take time to plant something and tend to it (Food for later?)
- Spend extended periods in the wild (Come on, don't be a snob, socialize with the animals)
Social Predator Animals:
- Join a pack of [insert animal here], and go on a hunt, getting to really know the group. (Always good to make friends)
- Research good hunting areas by scouting the area yourselves and then share the knowledge with your new animal friends. (They will love your forever)
- Develop your unarmed skill, and demonstrate it to your group by claiming leadership of the back through picking a fight with the dominate male. (In other words show off those impressive bitting moves of yours)
Solitary Predators:
- Rescue a member of your species or any other animal if you wish from a hunter's trap. (Your a hero to animals everywhere if you do this)
- Hunt down a hunter that hunts for pleasure and not because it's necessary and bring back the respect that nature deserves. (Yeah, that'll show them)
- Find a lair, and stake out your territory. (In the wilderness, its only natural folks)
Also on another note, one of our own has been given quite the honor. I here by formally congratulate Xnn on behalf of the entire Kelvic race. You are an inspiration to us all.
*Takes a bow and tips hat*
With that I bid you all adieu until next time folks,
Sincerely,
