Baby, You Can Wear My Hat

My sister loves some Mac Miller, and I had no idea who he was until we partied at my apartment one night, and my friend Alex came over. Apparently he's Mac Miller's doppelganger. It's crazy, because I looked Mac Miller up, and sho' nuff, they are look alikes! We used to call him Barbie, his nickname from highschool, but looks like he's Mac Miller around these parts now. In any case, Heidi and my friend Will had me listening to Mac, and this song just got stuck in my head. I love it. I can't exactly say why, though. It's rap, yes, but it's easy. It's soft, and though it has some explicit content (like most of his songs), it's not like the hardcore rap you hear where they're talking about blowing people's brains out and doing crack cocaine and beating people up and abusing women, blah blah. Don't get me wrong, I do like some rap, but Mac Miller's shit is unlike anything I'd ever heard before, and I like it. White boy can rap.

I think a guy deserves a break every now and then. It's been a hectic past couple of weeks, so if you're threading with me, I apologize! I've been checking up on things here, but just haven't had the time to sit down and work!
