Hey all my little snowbunnies! I just wanted to let everyone who did not see the grand announcement on the homepage to know AVANTHAL IS FINALLY OPEN! I have some really great ideas for our city. The two that are coming up are The Recruitment for Icewatch and The Departure, a celebration for Morwen's winter tour of Mizahar. The Departure should start soon because winter is sneaking up on us. The Recruitment will most likely start after we get more people in the city. All is up in the air though. Right now I just want everyone to get settled and have fun. If you have any ideas for the city feel free to PM me or just post them here. This thread is for everyone

It is best if you just post on this thread at least once. That way even if you don't want to contruibute in convorsation you will get updates. This is where the majority of the news will come from.

Just an announcement, I'm thinking of starting The Departure next month (November) so start thinking up ideas. I know I have to think of some...

The Departure(and The Homecoming) are explained here. I need to put more detail into it so I will expand on it here.

For the Departure all the holds of Avanthal come together for a big celebration in Morwen's honor. The majority of the festival is celebrated in The Frozen Falls Market but others venture off into other places. This festival is very free, so do what ever you want to show your appreciation. Just no shenanigans for Icewatch will get you (that mean you Yuralria)!Each hold does a different thing for the festival. Most tasks are simple such as making food or selling art. You pretty much do what ever your hold does but on a bigger scale. Also do not feel like you need to work all the time. Feel free to socialize as much as you want too. Here are what the holds do (but are not limited to):

Frostfawn: Give free rides through the town on carriages.
Snowsong: Provide music and small concerts
Skyglow: Sell art and make art for customers
Whitevine: Organization of the festival with Iceglaze
Winterflame: Make and sell food
Iceglaze: Organization of the festival with Whitevine
Coolwater: Boat rides off the Port

Any other things you would like to do are welcome and appreciated. If you have any ideas just post them. If you are staying here this is your city too, I just keep things running smoothly

On a personal note, I typed this all dressed for homecoming. I will be out for the night at the dance. Sorry for all the slow posting. School and homecoming got crazy. I will make sure to get caught up by monday my friends.
