Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Alea Davenport on November 16th, 2011, 5:21 am

At the sound of a giant stag calling out, Alea flew out the back door in alarm. She look frantically around the alley for any sign of danger, but the only things she could see were an obscenely huge stag and a ridiculously tiny cat. Annoyed, partly at her own paranoia and partly at the two Kelvics for messing around in the freezing snow, (and partly for reasons it would take her days to realize) Alea spoke more harshly than she intended. "WHAT is going on here? I THOUGHT we were supposed to be having dinner, but NO! You're out here doing who knows what nonsense, and probably freezing besides!" As if to illustrate her point, Alea shivered. Even two wool cloaks could not completely shut out the cold of Avanthal.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Banir Ironwood on November 16th, 2011, 6:03 am

During the commotion of the Kelvics Banir had retreated to the floor in his slumber. He slumped on the comfortable wooden floor, his large arms around a chair. Or what was left of the chair, splintered and ruined wood lay around him. In his sleep the silent young man had grabbed a poor and innocent chair, and had cuddled it in his sleep. (Truth be told it was more like grabbing and crushing in his sleep)

Though after the shouting began to reach him his mind began to rudely awaken to consciousness. Waking rather unhappily from one of his rare good dreams he found the remains of the chair. Embarrassed he stood, rushing to get up causing the metal on his gleaves to clink along with his armored arm. His mind shifted to his surroundings as sleep still clung to most of his mind, causing him to forget. After his hate filled eyes had taken in where he was and his thoughts had once again become rational. He decided to discover what had awoken him.

At the back of his mind was a primordial sense telling him he would not like what he found as he moved cautiously about the house. Eventually finding the kitchen, and then he saw the back door far from ajar. Curious and somewhat scared as he heard loud shouting coming from the other side and the sound of animals. `Perhaps I'll just stay in the kitchen until things calm down a bit. Whoever is out there sounds as though they are out for blood. But if the back door is open and no one seems to be around then....' His train of thought reached a final conclusion. He would indeed find out what in the name of Morwen was going on out there.
"Where life leads me, is where I shall go. The greater question is, who is willing to accompany me on such a long travel?"

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Aiza on November 22nd, 2011, 12:12 am

Aiza stepped back, in fear of being trampled by a stag. She jumped onto the lid of a trashcan and sat down, watching the creature enjoy his form. She flicked her tail and licked the fur down on her chest. The sudden burst of the door made her yowl and her fur stand on end.

Blinking she watched as Alea storm out and begin yelling at them both. Her ears laid back and the cat shifted. Aiza crossed her arms with a frown. She didn't understand why Alea needed to yell like that. They weren't her pets! "He was showing me what a stag looked like." She mewed with a huff. "And he had never seen a tiny cat!"

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Yuros on November 24th, 2011, 5:01 am

In a swirl of sparkling lights Yuros returned once more to his human guise, stretching his arms high over head and pulling the scars on his torso tight. Rolling his neck he moved to stand closer to the two girls talking. He did not understand what had caused Alea's distress.

He could smell Aiza's own emotions rise, and for a moment he felt a thrill of fear course up his spine. However, then he remembered that she was not a cat of the forest, and thus would not wish to make him a meal. That thought set a small smile on his lips, to think of Aiza in her feline form trying to take a bite from his hide was strangely amusing to him.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Alea Davenport on November 25th, 2011, 4:48 am

"GAH!" Alea cried, throwing her hand over her eyes instinctively. Two naked Kelvics at once was more than she could handle at the moment. "Would you two please just put some clothes on?" she yelled, her voice still a bit shrill. Not waiting for a response, she turned around and stormed back through the kitchen, past Banir, back to the dining area where there was still a bit of food left. She grabbed something that looked like it would require some chewing and sat down to gnaw on it, venting her frustrations on the food. She wasn't entirely sure why she was so angry, but she was sure she had a reason, and had no intention of moving until SOMEone apologized.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Banir Ironwood on November 25th, 2011, 2:11 pm

As utter confusion and curiosity wrapped around Banir he decided to investigate beyond the back door. Looking out then instantly looking back in side eyes wide. There are many things he had grown accustomed to, meeting new people, talking in crowds, so on and so forth. One thing he didn't need to get used to was seeing his new acquaintance's standing naked in the snow.

Walking back slowly through the kitchen eyes wide and horrified. Which was natural considering that it was unusual to see a naked man and woman out in a back alley. He honestly just couldn't understand why he had to see that. Banir may have lived for thirty or so years but biologically and mentally he was still in his late teens. He had led a bit of a sheltered life, and this was not a sight he needed to see.

But then he remembered the first time he had met Aiza. Slowly he began to understand that they must have been shifting between forms! YES! He was quite sure that is what it was! His footsteps slowed to a stop, he stood there now in a continuous loop of thoughts. Standing in the kitchen as he kept thinking of the incident, ignoring the cold creeping in at his back from the open back door.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Aiza on November 28th, 2011, 3:19 am

Aiza huffed, her breath visible in the cold air. She stormed in after Alea but stopped in the kitchen and simply wrapped her cloak around herself. She sat down on the floor, pissed that she had been yelled at like that. Like she was a child. Crossing her arms she glared across the room.

How dare Alea talk to her like that! She had to be a butt and ruin the night. What is so wrong with being a Kelvic. Sniffing, her frustration turned into tears. She wiped a couple of tear drops from her face and pouted, tears still forming in her eyes.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Yuros on December 3rd, 2011, 6:32 am

Yuros turned to look up at the sky, the sun was almost fully set and the stars were sparkling high over head. Taking in a deep breath, the Kelvic sighed and turned back toward the house. It seemed to him that women, whether animal, kelvic or other wise, always had a lot to say. Scratching his head Yuros looked up at the stars once more.

I wonder what I should do now. Yuros thought. Rolling his shoulders he turned and walked back into the building, passing Banir and stopping to pick up his clothes, which he noticed were folded, and put on his leggings once more. Then with slow, easy strides the Kelvic walked into the dinning area, passing a hand over Aiza's head as he passed, ruffling her hair as one might a kitten.

Yuros quickly spotted Alea where she sat attacking some food in her hands. Her ferocity reminded Yuros of a famished wolf after its first kill of the season, and this thought amused him enough that he smiled.

His steps slow and heavy, Yuros made his way to stand closer to Alea as she worked at the food. The Kelvic laid a hand on her shoulder and looked at her with his brown eyes, "You would have made a great huntress, one to put even the great cats of the Spire to shame."

Stepping back Yuros returned once more to the kitchen and kneeled next to Aiza, patting her head and smiling softly at her. Beyond that he could not think of much else to do, so he returned to the dinning area and sat next to Alea once more, brushing his bare shoulder against her arm as he got comfortable.

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Alea Davenport on December 3rd, 2011, 7:16 pm

When Yuros looked at her like that, her heart thumped and she forgot how to be angry. His compliment made her blush, despite how completely illogical it was (she couldn't even stand up to a librarian, much less a giant carnivorous cat). When Yuros went back to the kitchen, Alea slowed her eating pace, taking smaller bites and even deciding to use the eating utensils next to her plate.

Alea reflected on her behavior, and realized that she should really start getting used to naked Kelvics. She was probably going to be spending a lot of time with them, and from what she could tell, the odds of them learning to wear clothes at appropriate times seemed slim.

When Yuros sat down next to her, she finished off her dinner, finally feeling full. Then she leaned her head on his shoulder and said, "I'm sorry I yelled. I didn't mean to be that angry." She bit her lip as she thought of how upset her cat friend had looked. "Do you think Aiza will ever forgive me?"

Dinner and new friends (Aiza, Yuros, Banir)

Postby Banir Ironwood on December 3rd, 2011, 8:10 pm

Throughout the ordeal of his new acquaintances Banir had been lost in his thoughts. Each thought wandering in his mind while his body, absent of his control he sat by the backdoor. Having curled into himself when he managed to find himself once more he shook his head lightly. He hadn't realized half of what had happened while his mind was away in its loop of thoughts. Though he did feel tired from the large meal, his eyes drooped becoming half closed. He heard voices in what seemed like miles away.

Sleep began to grip him and he offered little resistance to its hold. His own thoughts began to betray him as with each new one he was dragged closer to his dreams. Soon asleep, peaceful, and cuddled into a corner he was going to be dreaming for some time before he would wake once more.
