The first major city event, btw, is an academic/art exhibition that opens on the 10th of the season. I am hoping to write it up and post it today or (possibly more likely) tomorrow.

Also, as a side note -- the citywide event has been postponed. Instead, I'll be running a mega-quest for Aventis and a cast of thousands once they and Cecil B. DeMille show up. It's the same plot (and essentially the same PCs I was expecting) but an easier way to arrange it.

This does mean that I've got some free time as a moderator at the moment (even with the commitments I've already made to another PC), so if you'd like to do a moderated thread, let me know! Please also let me know if you had your heart set on the citywide event, and I'll work something out. Everything is a work in progress!
