Why Hello ^-^

Hello! I am called Taske, I am not new to the game of RP I have been part of many different ones but only 3 for longer than a month. I normally play wolf or animal rp but I found myself wanting to play a long time fav character from a long closed site again, so I found my way to this site and I hope that it will be my forth long time site. After the closing of my first site, a wolf rp called Stranger I have found it hard to be part of another, see I was on stranger for about a year and a half, any other site that had felt like Stranger was a site that was open for only four or five months. At this point I am brimming with lots of muse, and am eager to start again and hopefully find a new 'Stranger' where I will feel at home and maybe bring some of my Stranger friends over for some are having the same problem as I.

As I have said I am no newb. I have been playing play by post rp for about 3 years. On average I can produce a 500 or even a 1000 word post if museful. I have been able to make deep characters that have changed with the posts. Allaire my little orphan girl, in my first rp, had stared the same as this one, she had been orphaned and sickly, but was able to develop strong bonds with animals. She had been described by many of the players as sweet and cute. But due to a event in character this sweet and cute girl had chose the life of an assassin. It was not planed and came as a shock to me and the players about me.

Now what I should tell you all to began with though, before I even start rping with my beloved Allaire, is that I may not have the best spelling and grammar you have ever seen. I try my best with it and use spell check and even google but sometimes I pick the wrong word to use or misspell it anyway. All my bad grammar is all unintentional, the best way to describe it is that my hands move to fast for my brain and I may miss something, or do something so off from the mark. This is even more of the case when Im in a deep plot im excited for, so excuse me on both accounts, I am still a good writer even with those two things and I would love it if you give me a try. =D

Welcome to Mizahar.

You should know that we are not a freeform forum; there are rules and set "facts" about the world that cannot be twisted to suit a character's story.

Please ensure you read our lore thoroughly! Not only did you lose your pavilion, you lost your family with it. That'd make it incredibly unlikely that a child would survive long in the Sea of Grass. She has no one to protect her. The Sea of Grass is not a happy place. You cannot just drift around from place to place and expect to live. I get that the orphaned child thing is a popular trope on other roleplay sites, but on Mizahar, orphans are adopted into other families, orphans are enslaved, or orphans die. They don't become odd-beating wandering assassins.

It takes time to get used to the mound of wiki pages to go through before things start making sense, I understand that. I think you should reconsider your character's story before you continue. Just my 0.02$

Aw yeah, another Drykas.

Welcome to Mizahar. As Seven said, be careful with how you play your past. While the orphan character is rather common, I do know people who have made their orphans great characters and exciting roleplay partners, so it all rests on how you decide to portray your character, and who knows? She might end up more than you planned her. Characters evolve in unexpected ways.

But as a Drykas, I will shamelessly beg you to stay in Cyphrus. I seem to be the only one at the moment; everyone else is traveling. Endrykas really isn't all that bad, I promise. But it's your choice.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you enjoy Mizahar!

Hi! I'm new too, and this seems like a really nice rp site. Lots of in-depth information about the world and lots of room for creativity. My character is a bit of an orphan too, though she was orphaned when she was almost an adult. And as common as orphans are, they are just so much fun to play! Who doesn't enjoy rooting for the underdog?!

Seven-
I understand, I realize that under normal situations that she would not survive on her own, in my last one she was adopted by a royal and the leader of her band. But I have chose her past carefully, I made her come from the emerald clan for the hunting background. Now my thought about it, if you are surrounded by hunting since a young age you pick up a thing or two. She may not be the most well feed but she with the guard dog she may be able to get a hare or two a week, until she reaches the city at least.
Khasr-
Thank you =D
And I do plane on staying, but if I don't find plots for her I may or may not, we should talk about a possible plot.
Liora-
Hi =D yeah I normally don't play child characters, but I find development in them great. And I do tend to give my characters hard backgrounds, I feel that way they have a reason to be who they are, and make more real characters. And I do love beat-all-the-odds underdogs >D

The Drykas protect their women fiercely because life on the Sea of Grass is harsh. Mortality among young males is high, commonly caused by accidents in hunting or predation via glassbeaks or young velispar.

Take from that what you will, but hunting males lead a dangerous enough life, I can only imagine how long a small girl with a skill of 10 in hunting would last. Please, I urge you to read your lore carefully. Special cases are not often given when it comes to people wandering aimlessly about the wilds. It's scary out there.
