Brand new here, so feel free to let me know if something's off with what I've done here. I hope it all looks good and I hope to put this kind of time and quality into everything I do here.

Physical Description:
Name: Gaius Sivet
Race: Inarta
Age: 25

Tall, lean and fit from both glass working and his hobbies, Gaius is an interesting figure. With hair a fiery red and a dull tan to his skin, he carries himself with a measured self-importance that respects those above and below his caste. He stands at 5’ 10”, weighs 155 pounds, and his dull grey eyes moving with an observant tenacity. Though a bit outspoken and blunt, even by Inarta standards, he is a generally kind and good person. With an inquisitive mind and a tendency to push towards a goal despite all obstacles and opposition, Gaius has often been called strong minded and thick headed, though he prefers to think of himself as committed and proactive.

Gaius Sivet:
The fire red hair and blunt speech of an Inarta are strange and somewhat unsettling sights for the many people the dwell away from the mountain of Wind Reach, but not altogether frightening. Through skills in glass working and hunting, Gaius manages to make a living in the grand city of Syliras and still finds time for his own amusements. Though mostly unfamiliar with the rules and conducts of the city and sometimes still stuck in the patterns of the mountain, Gaius continues to seek what he originally set out for. Something more, something meaning, something…

History:
Raised and taught by his father and the people of Wind Reach, Gaius was a quick learner and soon showed prowess in everything from glass working to archery and swordplay. Gaius showed great prominence and was quickly recognized as an up and coming Avora, or Artisan, who may even catch the eye of one of the higher castes. As time proceeded Gaius developed a love for falconry, hunting and tracking. With the steady tutelage of his elder sister Alori, he refined his skills and showed promise. And when these began to bore him, he took up with one of the local practitioners of reimancy and learned what he could of its control and intertwining with the element of earth. Though the process was dangerous and nearly killed him, after the initiation, Gaius became dedicated to learning all he could, though within Wind Reach it was little. Despite his dedication, his wide spread of activities each garnered little attention by themselves and so he gained little true experience in any field.

But soon, life became mundane for Gaius. He began to question everything, from the laws that governed the Inarta to their very way of life. Those around him began to detest and fear this and none were afraid to say so. Soon, Gaius had decided on his path; he must leave the safety of Wind Reach in search of something more, some meaning that had eluded him thus far. So, determined to set off on his own, towards the far and grand city of Syliras, Gaius said his goodbyes and packed his gear. Before leaving his father took him aside and gave him a ring of crude make, both the steel and glass set within. It was the first thing his father had crafted and he told Gaius to keep so that part of home would always be with him. Gaius thanked him and, without any further delay, left the comforts of Wind Reach for the perils of the world.

The way from Wind Reach was long and treacherous, but through clever use of his skills, Gaius was able to keep himself supplied in food and made it to the city of Sultros, where he discussed his options and restocked supplies through a combination of hunting and selling the few glass trinkets he had brought from Wind Reach. From there he made his way to Alvadas where he exchanged his labor aboard a ship for passage to Sylvas. Once arrived in Sylvas he began to ask around for work and now hopes to find that something that has eluded him thus far.
