Hi! My name is Kate or Zarya, call me what ever tickles your fancy. I have been role playing for over five years now and have loved every second of it. While I have been a text-based fanatic, I took a break for a few years and tested out role playing on games like Lord of the Rings Online. After missing the imagination text-based allowed, I felt a deep need to get back to it so I search on Google for good text-based role plays. After a week of examining several “based off the book” role plays *insert gagging sound of your choice here* I determined that Mizahar was the best by far.
I am the type of role player that likes to take the lore of the story and use it to expand my story and create a very intriguing story with it. I try to keep my characters realistic in the aspect that they have faults, but not enough to make them helpless. My goal is always to try to make them more life-like in their ways. I also love a character that likes to move, use their hands and explore.
While I may have literally just joined Mizahar, I have been examining all of the pages explaining how the role play works and it is quite refreshing to see such a well thought out system. I look forward to exploring the world through role play and out of character interaction.
While I may be serious in my role plays, I am very bubbly and love to joke around out of character. I love to talk about almost anything and always want to make a new friend or two.

Hello and welcome to the big world of Mizahar! Nice to meet you Kate! It sounds like you’ve got some really good ideas for building a character and I’m excited to see what you produce. You’ll find that Mizahar is full of light-hearted people like yourself that love to joke around so I’m sure you will fit right in. I’m glad you chose Mizahar to start your roleplaying journey again! My name is Valkyrie and I’m the Assistant Storyteller in Avanthal. Please let me know if you have any questions; it’s always wonderful to see new faces around the forums. Avanthal is a beautiful northern city locked in winter year round and ruled by the benevolent goddess Morwen. Avanthal is also home to the Vantha as well as dire polar bear Kelvic guards. This season Avanthal has lots of exciting ways for its residents to get involved with the city and make a name for themselves, and you can read more about it in the Calendar of Events. You can read so much more about Avanthal by visiting its city page in the wiki. If Avanthal doesn’t suit your tastes, I would recommend that you consider The Spires, Wind Reach, or Riverfall. All of these cities have amazing themes and so much room for you to grow as a player. Though really, anywhere you choose is going to be a fun and exciting place to play in.
