Mizahar Turns Three! Thank you for being apart of it! It's true. As of August first, we officially turned three years old. We've been up a bit longer than that, but the official opening day of Mizahar was way back in 2009. For a relatively new site on the internet, I think Mizahar has done fantastic. We have great players, dynamic staff, and a game world that very few can compare too. And so for this anniversary I thought I'd ask you all to take a moment and say thanks to people you may want to thank for all the enjoyment you get out of Miazhar AND possibly let us know what you'd like to see forthcoming in the future year. I don't have to remind you to keep it positive, progressive and appropriate! We can't suddenly develop space stations, after all... but there is a lot we can do.

Happy birthday Mizahar! There are a lot of thanks in order for sure. First, the founders, who created a world in which we get to experience so much IC and OOC, and who continue to support players year-long with a level of dedication I've rarely seen on the net. Thank you for giving us a place to grow as writers and as people. Then there's the staff: Storytellers and Liaisons. They are one of the main reasons and the secret of Mizahar's success. We couldn't maintain such a player base without some of these players rising up to take on the responsibility of maintaining cohesion within the forum and the world. They never fail to amaze me with their creative talents and their patience. Thank you for making Mizahar a magical place to explore, and keeping it real at the same time. Next, we have the players. The site has attracted not just excellent writers, but good, good people. The internet is famed for its random hating (think youtube flame wars) yet I can enjoy a drama-free (OOC of course) environment on a daily basis. There is a lot of mutual respect around here. I truly appreciate it. And I can't finish without major thanks to everyone who contributes to make the internet possible, because it has been (an continues to be) a huge source of personal growth for me, on many levels.

Happy anniversary Mizahar! I'm so glad I've been here for a year to experience a little of that time. Thank you to everyone I thread with. Thank you Dani for pulling me into all of this. And thank you to those who constantly support me and what I do. Lets hope the site continues to grow - my only want is more epic plotlines, like the Djed Storm story, since they get everyone on the site working together, and that's always fun.

I'd like to thank Phoenix, Colombina and Gossamer firstly because if not for them and their patience my first character on Miz, Absynia, might not have turned out as well as she has! Seriously, thank you guys.

Secondly I'd like to thank my rp partners who have been rping with me on both my PCs for taking the time to create awesome stories with me! Without you guys I'd still be threadless!

Thirdly I want to thank all those who I have chatted with and frightened to death in the Chatbox, I'm sure my antics will be gotten used to eventually, so fear not! The hours of amusement you have provided me are prescious and I look forward to bewlidering, confusing and driving you all crazy for a long time to come!

Uhhh, then lastly, but certainly not least, to all those who I have yet to do stuff with... I look forward to our future adventures!

There are so many people to thank for all my good times here, the list is endless. I just wanted to say that this is the best place ever and Gossamer has always gone out of her way to help me, to be kind, and to make me feel welcome.

But all the staff is amazing. I know how hard the mods work. It's not easy, but they make it look that way. They deserve their share of cake too!

I sincerely hope that Mizahar is here for another ten years and the cake gets bigger every time.

Wow where to start. First thank you Coltyn for my amazing Avatar and Sig! After that I want to throw out my thanks to everyone else who has provided me art and cool stuff to look at. Thank you Rayage for helping me create such a dynamic character that is Evalin, and thank you to all the other players whom are helping to shape her future.

Paragon, you have made some AMAZING quests for Evalin to partake in. V also gets a huge thanks for putting up with all my questions and requests when I was first getting started in Ravok lol. A real trooper who took my strange ideas and rolled with them haha.

Of course I want to thank all the founders, Especially Gossamer and Cay who have really made me think critically about ALL of my characters. Tarot has to get thanks for his amazing magics which I am STILL trying to master. Bina and and everyone else thank you as well. I love this site so I don't think much more needs to be said.

I also want to thank all of the staff: Fallacy, Persona, Liar, Valkyrie, CINNA!, and many many MANY more for all of their hard work. Thanks to all the liaisons for doing what I would not have the patience to do. We have an amazing staff here on Miza, and we should all thank them for the time they put into this place. Man, thanking people, there's quite a few...heck I could probably thank everyone since they're all apart of what makes the site that brings me such enjoyment. Anyway here we go, a lot of this may sound kind of random.

Gotta thank the various staff that gives back to the players and lets us experience awesomestuff. Obviously thanks Colt for giving me enough Xalet/Xuphim pictures to last me a lifetime. Thanks Bob Barton for being one of my very first RP partners, I swear we'll get together again! V for running my first full length moderated adventure. Andresciel for digging deep and sticking with the Knight thing. Markus for constant threads and trying to gain Knighthood before me! Septimus for sticking around and wanting to be my Kelvic Warhorse. Paragon for helping me with the Sylira Epic Quest stuff. Gossamer for making purple skinned well built males. Kalila for dealing with Xuphim. Xamalia for being hot and letting me change your first letter constantly. Cinna for working hard in the Spires. Phoenix (Xules) for being great to talk to in chat and having fantastic cell phone tossing aim. Tabarnac for running my Knighting quest. Marcus for hanging out with a Knight bro in the Spires. Goss again for answering a bunch of my game mechanics and moderator questions that I randomly crop up with. Colombina also thanks for that. We've come a long way... I'm glad I could watch and contribute to Mizahar's success over the past three years. You, the founders, created a beautiful world and we've all worked together to breathe life into it and make it the friendly and fantastic place it is today (not ic, of course). Even though I'm not as active anymore, I still love it enough to make an effort to stay. I want to see how Miza will evolve in the future - and I'm sure there will be a future. My quick Thank You goes to the founders for doing awesome shiny thread and development work as well as dirty behind the scenes work. I mean, Miza wouldn't even exist without you! Also the rest of the staff - helping with the dirty work isn't easy, I know, so thank you. And the players for writing so many exciting characters and stories! Here's to many many more years of dreaming and storytelling. Congratulations!
