Thanks Malia. Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to get a city up and running complete with writeups and wiki entries in two weeks... but if I can get the vast majority of the city descriptions done by this weekend... I think its absolutely possible. And that with all the OT I've worked this week.

Now, my next phase is getting all the lurking Inarta going and to start posting.

And btw.. I love the song.

I just wanted to say I am very excited to start roleplaying in wind reach. I was originally going to be a wandering Inarta but then I decided before I just left Wind Reach I would check out the board. I can honestly say I have fallen in love with the city, the Inarta people, and their culture. I wish I would have started out as Kellan because I just love everything about this. You have created a fantastic city and I can say with full honesty that I have never been this excited to rp. Keep up the great work! I cannot wait until the city is full of my fellow Inarta

We aren't done yet, but I'm glad with how everyone seems to be pleased with the progress we are making. Eidolon and I are working very hard behind the scenes to get the locations fleshed out....

But, that being said, if anyone wants a thread for anything, please let us know! We're willing to start anything.... including a group social festival. I think its appropriate that the Inarta celebrate the official melt. So we're going with that.. and it will be up today for you guys to brush shoulders in.

You guys amaze me with the fanciness of your postings and the colorfulness of the characters that are starting to form up here. Please, especially the Dek, don't hesitate in starting open threads to socialize and interact a little. The more we all jump in and get our feet wet, the more this beast called Wind Reach will take on a life of its own.

Also, I will have a gathering posted sometime today.. a First Thaw festival and rather formal dance.

Vanir posted an open thread regarding the dinner time of the Dek. If any of you kids want to join in, feel free. Kitchen duty is definitely on your roster... and I'll hop in to add some modly fun a little later today.

Definitely excited to start Rping. I really hope this place works up to be good for me. I needed something entirely new, which I'm glad to finally get ^.^
This place seems rather cool. I do like the ideas that are set out for each race. Unique.

Welcome Dalena.. I hope you enjoy yourself here. Feel free to post some open threads (there's tons of people here just itching to start rping and are kinda too shy to start their own stuff)... and let me know if you need anything from me as a moderator. I really want to stress that I want WR to be a place where PCs feel free to rp what they love rping. If that means your pc has a snarky nasty temper or personality, then truthfully thats great. In real life, there's always one in the crowd and its unrealistic to have everyone be nice all the time. OOC however, I hope we all play nice ... and tease each other a lot for playing gingers.

Also, welcome Rosalie! Its nice to have a non-ginger wandering around! You'll stick out like a sore thumb and everyone will stare - alot. Be sure to post a new thread that's open and start meeting some of the folks here. I'm sure you'll find a bondmate in no time or at least make some rp buddies.

And on that note, feel free guys to use this as a chatty thread. If you want to brainstorm ideas, say something like 'Hey.. anyone up for a knife fight/jello wrestling/gambling/a party in thread?" Feel free. If you want to drool over someone's avatar, feel free... I hope as a city we are all very close OOC even if we hate each other IC.

Also, this is a great GREAT place for suggestions.

I feel like such an idiot asking this, but I want to know is there anything restrictions at the Thaw Festival for Dek? I don't want to make a post until I know for sure what the answer is. Answer when you can.
