![]() Hello Mizaharians, like every year in November, we are going to do National Novel Writing Month on these boards, which technically makes us NaNo-rebels. Be sure to feed your inner writer throughout November (either that or your personal army of monkeys on typewriters.) I'm not sure, what is this about? If you can write 50,000 words of IC posts on a single PC account in November, you win and get a shiny medal. If you can't, you can make up cool and fantastic excuses as to why you couldn't - and if they are cool and fantastic enough, then maybe, just maybe a special "the dog ate my post" medal. Do I have to fill out any paperwork to sign up? Don't turn this site into the IRS! You don't. Everyone with a PC account is automatically a participant. You can't hide from me. Do I have to keep track of my word count? Numbers are evil! Just like last year, I'll post daily word scoreboards for all accounts on the site. These numbers will include posts on the IC boards in threads that don't contain "OOC" in their titles - simple as that. But what about time zones? I live on the International Space Station... As usual, I'm going to be very lenient with respect to timezones. I'll be counting time from the very moment November 1st dawns on the world to the very last minute of November 30th in New Zealand or wherever the date change line is. I'm out of defensive questions for now. Good, now go plan your November threads then! |
