Darkness... most of the time. With flashes of light, and hair, and scales, and more darkness. That was his life now, though Imass had no idea how long he had been there. He was barely alive, at least.. he thought so. It was hard to tell, but if he was questioning whether he was alive or not, then he probably was.

Act in faith and a pure heart. See goodness despite evil and keep yourself from...

From what? Imass couldn't remember.. he could never remember the full quote. Bits and peices, but never the full quote as a whole. And why was it so important to him?

Another flash, the face of a beautiful Konti woman leaning over him, the gnosis mark on her hand glowing softly as it moved over his body. And then it was dark again. Imass heard voices, but he couldn't understand them.

See goodness despite evil and...

"I think he's waking up."

It was the soft, gentle voice of the konti that finally drew him from his slumber. Imass was still in considerable pain, but he was alive, and he found himself in a room made of white marble, resting comfortably on a bed. The konti who spoke, the one who's face he could recall seeing in his flashes, stood next to him smiling happily. Further across the room was another woman, this one less beautiful, but she seemed to carry an aura of importance about her. When she saw the akalak looking at her she smiled slightly and nodded her head before leaving the room.

"It's good to finally see you awake. I almost didn't think you were going to make it, Imass. But they said you were strong. I should have had more faith in you. My name is Lori. I've been taking care of you for a while now, but I think you're going to be okay. You still have a long way to go, but you're awake now, and that's a really good sign."

Act in faith and a pure heart. See goodness despite evil and keep yourself from...

Yahal's words repeated over and over in his mind, but no sense could be made of it's message. Honor. Duty. Faith. Conviction. All these words once meant everything to the Knight, however now they were only fragments of broken memories. He saw images in his mind's eye of Gods and mortals alike, but none of it meant anything real to him for his mind could not comprehend. Utter blackness was the only thing in his existence. Chaotic nightmares raced through his mind though he would never remember. Only terror, extreme anger, and nothingness remained.

Trying to open his eyes did nothing to stop the torment of hissoul. Vivid dreams of broken promises and shattered vows plagued him, but he could not comprehend why. There was no mental compass, no intelligence in his brain anymore. All that remained was fear, confusion, and anger. When he saw Murdock's face his anger turned to epic rage, but a moment later he would forget and enter the world of darkness once again.

Minutes turned to hours. Hours turned to days. Days turned to centuries. No matter how hard he tried, he could not remember anything. Anger fueled him, but terror filled his body. His soul was shattered. Everything he believed in meant nothing more than the blackness around him.

As the darkness consumed him time and time again, the image of the Windoak began to appear in his head. It appeared in full shining splendor producing the most anxiety in his mind, however he quickly forgot and was filled with anger once more. His mind was racing, but he couldn't do anything about it. He had the urge to do something - anything - but he didn't why or what to do. Just as quickly as this urge fell upon him his mind turned to the image of Murdock, then he would forget about it full with anger. Rage turned to darkness and for a fleeting moment there was no pain, but it started up again just as quick.

Nothing else matter, not even the pain, because when he felt pain he only got more angry for no reason. Murdock's face filled his thouhts again, then he would forget again and his pain would return only to get him angry once again,

Failure filled his mind and this was more painful than anything his body ever felt. His pride was shattered, but he wasn't too clear about why - so the rage over took him again. Then he would see the image of Naeya's face and feel love, but this too was forgotten and replaced with anger, then Murdock's face, then he would forget again and return to his rage.

The anger fueled him. The rage and frustration healed his wounds with sheer will. Although he could not comprehend it at all, he was convinced he wanted retribution. Like all the rest he would lose grips with this thout and turn to anger.

Honor. Duty. Love. Conviction. Faith. Justice. These words played in his head on loop as he faded in and out of thoughts. No matter how hard he tried though he would always forget a moment later.

Honor. Murdock. Word. Duty. Blood. Pyscho. Killing. Duty. Death. Redemption. Kill. Naeya. Murdock. Anger. Honor. Duty. Faith. Darkness. Death. Blood. Swords. Kill. Honor. Word. Blood. Naeya. Ball. Markus. Fight. Sword. Word. Gem. Murdock. Honor. Rhysol. Blood. Yahal. Faith. These words played in his mind over and over, but he had no understanding over their meaning because he would forget too quick. His mind was tormented because he wanted answers, but only rage would allow itself into thought.

The Knight's existence was reduced to a nightmare that would never end. Nothing could quench the fire of his soul, nothhing could comfort him expect for the blackness. He would reach out for it, then when the blackness became nothingness he was truly at rest, but for only one moment, because he would awaken again and the whole process would start over. Rage filled his soul.

Blood. Pyscho. Killing. Blood. Death. Dangerous. Words. Swords. Blood. Kill. Death. Swords. Rage. The words began repeating in his mind again and again, until he achieved nothingness through pain and anger. A moment later it started again. There was no rest. No peace. Just blackness and rage. This living chasim if despair was all he ever knew in life. The Knight was given a fate worse than death by Rhysol.

See goodness despite evil...

After what seemed like infinity, the Akalak finally found himself in the land if the cognitive. Slowly his eyes opened, but he was confused. No thoughts went through his mind and if they did he could barely understand them. The words being spoken to him by the Konti ompletely flew over his head, the only difference was that did not forget everything this time. His mind did not jump, he remained constant in thought though. The image of Murdock suddenly filled his brain and rage took over again. Anger surged through his body like a weak adrenaline rush. Nothing else matter except his rage.

Slowly the shattered Akalak clenched his fist. a hoarse whisper escaped his mouth in great pain. Undoubtedly, if he was at full strength his outcry would shake the heavens and the earths. His piercing golden eyes stared forward into empty space as if he was looking someone in the eye,

"...huuuuuuu... Murdock...."

Blood rushed to his head in quivering fury, then the comforting darkness beaconed him back to safety. Closing his eyes he followed the blackness for it was his single moment of rest. His only comfort in life was a moments relief from all the anger and pain.

The Akalak's mumbled response put a frown on the Konti's face. He was awake only for a moment, before he was out cold again. Lori responded by closing her eyes and hovering her hands over the warrior's body once more, activating the gnosis mark on her hands and filling him with soothing healing energy once more. Little did he know, every moment of nothingness, every reprieve from the nightmare he found himself trapped within, was a moment when the Konti woman was trying to heal him. She was marked twice by Rak'keli, but she belonged to Rhysol. Her mind had been reconditioned long ago to love the dark god, and though her power came from Rak'keli and she still served the goddess through action, her thoughts were always of Rhysol. It would take four more days before Imass was able to wake again. His wounds were mostly healed now, though there was nothing the Konti could do for the mental scarring. Those wounds he would have to repair himself.

"Wake up, Imass," the soft voice whispered, drawing him once more for the prison of his sleeping mind, "You need to eat."

They had been force feeding him, coaxing soups and water down his throat, forcing him to swallow. It was not a warrior's diet, and when he was finally able to get up and move around again, he would find his body much weaker, and much lighter. A lot had been lost.. nearly dying will do that to a person, and he would have to work hard if he wanted to return to the shape he'd been in as a Knight. If the Konti's voice did not stir him, perhaps the smell of food would. Warm bread, freshly baked, and lightly buttered awaited him, with a small helping of eggs. Nothing too strong, nothing that would upset his stomach. These would be his first solids in some time, it would be hard to eat anything more than that.

"Wake up, Ser Knight. You need to eat. You need to regain your strength."

The Konti sat back and waited. She had been caring for Imass every day since he'd arrived, trying to hold back Dira's embrace. His body was healed, for the most part, but his mind was broken. Still.. she needed him to wake up, whether he remembered who he was or not. Amnesia would make things easier on him, true, but remembering who he was would also be valuable. Her masters were growing impatient, however. If he didn't wake on his own she would have to let someone force it.

"Imass.. you need to wake up."

OOCWhether or not Imass remembers anything is entirely up to you. However you want to play it, I'll roll with it.

Postby Imass on January 27th, 2013, 2:54 am

The visions of broken promises and shattered vows plagued his mind as he fell into the coma once more. This time was different though; this time he remembered. The once hazy face of Murdock now turned into the symbolic definition of anger and hatred. Blood leaked from the mouth of his mortal enemy. A blue hand clenched around his neck. Waves of red and black pulsated in his mind's eye as he saw himself smash Murdock's face to pieces. Nothing could quench his thirst for blood. Nothing could stop his determination to settle the score. The scope of his anger was beyond reason and logic.

Murdock had killed his family. He was responsible for the death of the people the Akalak loved most. People that meant to him more than anything. To top it all off the hypnotist had the nerve and the gall to think it was alright; Murdock did not know the meaning of Honor. Rage consumed him as he reached for a sword that wasn't there. He got mad at himself for being so helpless as to not be able to do anything. He wanted to fight Murdock immediately regardless of the consequences, because absolutely nothing else mattered.

In the dark prison cell of Sahova the Akalak reached his breaking point. His mind was over-burdened with anxiety and it collapsed under the strain of his Duty... But that didn't matter anymore.

Imass' failure. The vows Imass broke. The promises he shattered. None of that meant a Gods damn thing anymore. For Imass had faded into the deep recesses of the Akalak's mind and his dark brother Garonn had emerged from the smoldering ruins with a bitter hatred. Nothing else mattered except Murdock. Garonn would not stop until Murdock's blood was running down the edge of his blade and his cruel black heart was ripped out of his beating chest!

The Akalak opened his eyes only to see the blurry vision of a Konti standing over him. She was pleading for him to wake up and eat. In a confused daze, Garonn tried to sit up. His whole body was numb and weak, but the pain felt good. Any physical sensation felt good right now, even pain, for Garonn had been repressed for over a decade. His mouth was salivating at the smell of bread and butter.

Ignoring the Konti who was calling him Imass, the Warrior slowly shuffled towards the table with the food. It must have been ten minutes, but he finally arrived breathing heavily. Picking up the bread he stuffed it in his mouth and tried to swallow, but it was too much. The Akalak was too weak to eat, so he took it slowly. While he ate, he ignored the Konti and focused entirely on the meal. The taste of butter on his tongue felt amazing to Garonn, he hadn't tasted food in what seems centuries.

When Garonn finished he turned to the Konti he had been ignoring and spoke in a low icy tone in harsh warrior Tukant. His face was grim and his eyes on the verge of insanity, "Wine! Bring me wine!"

Garonn was done playing games. His mind returned to Murdock and blood filled his thoughts. With even more intensity in his eyes he added in Tukant, "And a sword. Bring me a sword."

Lori watched quietly as the akalak, once a proud warrior who was now weak and feeble, struggled to rise and get to the food his body needed. He had a bit of trouble at first, but eventually he was able to eat. It did not surprise her that he had difficulty. Since he arrived he'd had very little in the way of nourishment, only what soup and water they could force down his face. It was very likely that even the bread would be rejected by his weakened stomach, but he had to eat.

When he turned and barked his orders at her like she was a slave, something she was most certainly not, the Konti frowned, and shook her head. She was not a slave, she was a willing (though it had not been that way at first) servant of Rhysol, and did not take orders. In fact, she was surprised at the way he spoke to her. Most Akalak she met were very nice to her, especially in Riverfall. From what she knew of Imass, which wasn't much, she did not believe he would speak to her that way either.. which meant, she was likely speaking to his other half. Luckily, she understood enough Tukant to get the gist of what he wanted.

"If you drank wine right now, you'd lose everything you just ate," she responded in the common tongue, "And you are in no condition to wield a sword. I bet I could beat you in a fight right now. You need to regain your strength. You can barely even walk. I will send for water, and in a few bells more food. For now, though.. may I ask, who am I speaking to. I do not believe Imass is the correct name, anymore."

OOCSorry for taking so long, and then only giving you a short post. I'll be quicker in the future, I want this thread to be done by Spring if possible.

Garonn didn't even flinch when the Konti rebuked him. Icy hatred coursed through his viens as he started at her. The Akalak envisioned himself petching her until she couldn't walk anymore... while strangling her; Garonn had been repressed for ten years and Imass was ever the pius one whom never bedded. His lust and hatred knew no bounds. The urge to choke the Konti out was so overwhelming he almost acted on his thoughts, but in the end he bit his tongue and played the game. Garonn was not stupid like Imass, who would throw his body in hopeless situations.

"Konti," Garonn started in crude Tukant. He understood common, but had never spoken a word of it in his life, "I am known as Garonn by my enemies, but I claim no name. I refuse to speak to anyone who doesn't wield a sword. Unless you are ready for me to spill my seed in your womb, bring me a sword so I can talk for real. Your concern for me is staggering, but I don't need counsil from you.

The Akalak stared the Konti down with hard yellow eyes that undressed her with every moment. His voice was icy-cold and to the point. He spoke exactly what he was thinking no matter what.

"You are also a liar. I can tell, you've been lying to me about somehing... Give me a sword and a flagon of wine then I'll take my leave. After that consider us square and only talk to me from now on if you are ready to petch,""

All Garonn needed was a sword and a flagon. How hard is that? He was strong enough to make his own way in the world.

Ooc
I agree. I will post as quick as possible promise. Also I am sorry but Garonn is a huge pain in the ass to deal with right now @_@

The Konti frowned. It had been many, many years since she had last set foot in Riverfall, and that was before she had known Rhysol. In that time she had never met an Akalak's dark soul, though other women had whispered of them. Often times they were aggressive, sometimes cruel, and often displayed all the negative traits of their race. Garonn seemed to be no different. He was arrogant, angry, and treated her like dirt.

His words did anger her somewhat, and that was okay. Anger made her strong, and she was certainly stronger than the man before her, assuming she wasn't already. As with many of her kind, she was not without her own defenses. In a few quick motions she was on her feet and across the room. The akalak might try to react, but his body was too weak, too sluggish. The tip of her Suvai was pressed to his throat, another to his groin. If Garonn knew anything of the konti weapons, he would know that even a tiny pinprick could disable a full grown man.

"I said you are too weak for wine. And you are certainly too weak to petch me. I'll decide when, and if, that ever happens."

Lori took a step back. There was a fire in her eyes, almost as if she was daring him to make a move. It was a common misconception that healers were not allowed to hurt anybody, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. They could do whatever they wanted, especially if it was in self defense. They were merely compelled to care for the injured, and causing injuries for no reason brought them great anguish, but they could still do it. Garonn thought he was the dominant one in the room, and until that moment the konti had appeared submissive, but she was a servant of the Defiler. She was blessed with his power, among others. She was Garonn's handler, as well as his healer. It was her job to break him, whatever way she had to.

"The only sword you'll be holding is the one between your legs, because the only person who would petch you right now is yourself. Now sit down, and I will get you water. You can have wine when I say you can have wine."

Garonn did not flinch when the Suvai where drawn and held at throat point. A sharp edge at his throat was something he could actually understand. Words where fleeting to the dark brother; Imass had spent a whole life devoted to words and ideals. The repressed soul just watched in disgust from the background. He had not the power to over throw his ignorant brother until now.

The Akalak stared at the Konti in the eyes as the poisoned tipped blades hovered around his groin and neck. He stared at her in the eyes and spoke no words. He was done trying to reason with her. He would sit like a dog and wait for now. Regardless, though he could not help but feel roused. A provocative Konti willing to play rough was strangely appealing to Garonn. At that exact moment, he decided that being mere inches from death at the hands of a beautiful Konti was attractive. He promised himself he would bed her before this was all over.

Waiting for the water, Garonn remained boldly silent as he stared her down with a scowl. The rage and attraction began to build up in his head, but he would not act on it. Over and over he told himself to be smart, 'Remember all those times the fool Imass haphazardly went into danger. Don't follow his foot steps. I need to act like I am playing her, but in reality I won't. No one will tell me what to do once I am free. I have no other choice now.'

The konti left him after that, though she came back often. For three days he was served water and bread, never large portions, but small portions several times throughout the day. On the forth day fruit and vegetables were included with his meals, and on the fifth day he was given a small serving of red meat with every other meal. The konti visited him often, administering the healing power of her gnosis daily. Each time the feeling was incredibly pleasant, and each time he felt himself growing healthier. On the tenth day the konti returned to his room, a full meal including meat and this time the wine he so dearly wanted on a tray in one hand, and a new set of fine clothing in the other.

"Eat up and get dressed. We are going for a walk, and you will be allowed to exercise. It is time for you to get back in shape, and for you to see the city you have spent your life fighting against."

The konti waited and watched patiently while he ate and dressed. If he refused either of the things she brought him, she would not bother to argue. If he wanted to be hungry and poorly dressed, she did not really care. Not at that moment, anyway. When he was finally ready she knocked once on the door and a pair of armed guards entered the room, one carrying shackles, and the other a blindfold.

"Please do cooperate. We simply cannot allow you to see the inner workings of our temple, not yet anyway, and the shackles.. well, I'm sure you can guess why we need those. I can't have you running off, or trying to hurt anyone. You are a knight, afterall."

See Goodness (Imass)

Postby Imass on February 5th, 2013, 9:15 pm

When the Konti returned with the water, the frustrated Knight made it clear immediately that he had no respect for her words, "I don't know who you are... and I don't care," his deep voice was icy and full of rage. His scarred face was grim and solid, "but listen to me clearly: I do not play games."

For the rest of the day he remained silent, though he stared down the Konti in the eyes with piercing gold irises. He stared into her soul and tried to dig deep. Garonn did not need to say much to her, all he needed to do was stare. He constantly thought of smashing her or breaking her bones, but most of the time it was choking her out while petching her. The Knight had the confidence he could beat her down and satisfy her in the bed and he hoped that this fact was portrayed through his eyes. For ten long years all the Garonn had was his eyes and he was good at communicating with them, 'Words are fleeting with this bitch and I have no weapons. She will have to understand my eyes or suffer the consequences.'

Three days went by in silence. Garonn ignored everything the Konti said and stared. He stared at her even if she got uncomfortable. When she asked him to do something, he paused for a long time staring then finally obeyed. Insolence and hatred fueled his heart and the Konti's figure burned his loins. He also thought about wine; he was insulted and shocked that she refused him, which only got him more pissed off at the healer. When he wasn't thinking about the Konti he was thinking about Murdock. This pain and rage was hard and difficult to comprehend so he tried to shove it away constantly. Thinking on Wrenmae only brought anger and rage to his mind, which just left him feeling frustrated at his situation. In the end, only silence ensued.

Every time the healer used her gnosis on the Akalak, Garonn's member would stand at attention from all the invigorated blood pumping through his body. Regardless of this Garonn did not react at all. His icy, grim face remained constantly staring as he imagined himself petching the Konti.

On the fourth day the Konti approached with fruits and Garonn spoke in a low cold voice of ungraceful Tukant , "I have made the life decision that I will do everything in my power to either impregnate you or kill you before I leave this prison," Garonn did not flinch regardless of what she said or did. He remained silent for the rest of the day and stared. His strength was returning now too and his anger began to smolder.

The following day he was served a portion of red meat in his meals. Already he was walking about and stretching. He touched his toes with straight legs then spread legs. He turned his shoulders and pulled on his triceps and biceps. He walked around in circles all day to regain his footing and balance. Every muscle on his body ached when he moved, but it was an orgasmic pain. Every time a bone creaked or a muscle burned it felt amazing. Blood flowed through his body and just walking around would bring on a hard on. Recovery would be quick and soon he would know what the permanent damage on his fighting ability was.

Although he was stretching and walking, when the Konti entered the room Garonn would stop everything and just stare. His scowl would return and he would think about smashing her head in. Rage and blood smoldered in the pit of his stomach and was projected through his eyes. He meant everything he was thinking and he did not care of the consequence. He wished hard that the Konti would understand that she better take his word for it, because once the opportunity arose he would perform the deed. Garonn would not hesitate, because he had nothing to lose. He focused hard on this thoughts and emotions when he stared into the healer's eyes. All he could hope was the Konti would understand just by looking at him, 'I will petch you so hard that you won't be able to ever walk again. I will crush your throat in my fingers and watch the blood drain from your face. Then, we will be square.'

On the tenth day the Konti appeared with a full meal including a large portion of meat. She also brought him a simple white tunic, black breeches, and combat boots. The tunic was of the finest quality silk and the breeches made of thick fine wool. The shoes where made by the hands of an expert shoemaker using the strongest yet softest leather. And finally to Garonn's great delight she brought a large glass of wine.

Garonn's strength was returning quickly and walking and stretching was relatively easy for him now. Although he felt one hundred times better than before, he was still a shell of his former self. He was shattered, now he was healing. Devouring the meal, he stared at the Konti's eyes the whole time she was in the room he imagined himself petching her to death. Washing down the food with the sweet wine, Garonn's thirst was finally quenched momentarily.

After putting on the clothes the Knight looked somewhat presentable. It also made him feel nice and solid with leather under his feet. He was feeling tipsy from the wine, but already he thirsted for more. He didn't even care how it tasted at this point. The Konti finally returned with two armed guards. She asked him nicely to cooperate, but Garonn was done with her words. Instead he just stared with his intense white gold eyes and rebuked her, "Tell 'WE' to go petch themselves."

Garonn boldly remained standing shoulder width apart and stared them down. He was ten days stronger and he was feeling good from the wine now, however there was nothing he could do in this situation. In the end he did not resist, but he did not listen. The dark personality would not accept any words; he could only understand the edge of a blade or fists at that point.
