Welcome to Wind Reach!
This is the OOC Thread for the Spring 513 Season!

Wind Reach is the beautiful city of redheads and their giant Eagles. Unmatched by any other, this forum is filled to brimming with opportunities for players and characters alike! Along with a complete City Entry in the wiki, Wind Reach will also include a comprehensive players guide filled with RP tips and pointers for surviving in this challenging environment.

Wind Reach is a unique roleplaying environment that is designed to be both challenging on an individual basis and on a group level. The whole of Mt. Skyinarta's existence depends on overarching plotlines that effect the whole of Mizahar - so each and every one of her citizens will be playing a crucial role in the future of the history of the world. Full of mysteries wrapped in an enigma, Wind Reach is considered the City of Secrets by the outside world. Remote, incredibly dangerous and difficult to visit, Wind Reach is designed to lure players to its tragic interdependence and keep them wanting more.

Use this forum to communicate with your fellow players, organizing events, threads, and ideas. Post questions and concerns here as well. It is strong suggested that this forum is subscribed to by everyone who plays within the city, as it is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with events!

Hey All you Gingers out there!

As you can see, I started switching the forum over to Spring a day early. I have a lot going on this weekend so I want to make sure I get as much of it done for you all while I still can.

For those of you who don't read the News Around the Campfire thread, I'd like to direct you to THIS threads. This is a 100% must read because I am going to be implementing it soon.

More importantly at this point in time, Everyone better get their placeholders in and their job threads situated before the season changes. After it rolls into Spring/March, you can't post for Winter anymore unless given special permission by me!

I will give more information about the quest when the flurry of change with the new season dies down.

Hey gingers (and wannabes)!

How are we all doing? Spring is finally here, the snows of Winter are gone and the Inartans, being Inartan, are all set to start partying in the wake of the cold. A few updates from me:

Spring Events and Seasonal Goals are now up, for you guys to peruse and incorporate into your threads.

Don't forget to get your job threads done and handed in.

Sign up if you're in Wind Reach for Spring in the Character Registry.

And finally, get super super excited for the Regional Quest! Phoenix and I will be running it for Wind Reach, so you'll get to interact with both of us. Sign up in the news thread here!

That being said, I'm going to be mostly absent until Monday. Please bear with me and I'll respond to your PM's when I can. But until then, I think you all can get along great without me being here for a few days

Is there a minimum drinking age in Wind Reach (or Mizahar)? If so, what is it? If not, at what point do teens/young adults usually start to drink? I was thinking of joining the open thread about free drinks. But, if it isn't socially acceptable, Kanri wouldn't want to do that. Thanks for the help!

Edit: Also, in order to buy something (because I have a LOT of spare cash laying about...), do you have have to thread it or can you just buy it, list it in your inventory, and deduct the necesary amount from your wallet?

I am not sure if there is a minimum drinking age for Miza! I assume not because they didn't have those types of things in the Medieval times, for instance.

As for purchasing items, you have to buy them IC if you have 50+ posts

Because the Market Place is under construction, you can moderate your buying the item yourself and just leave the cost open ended. We can inform you how much to deduct from your ledger when you receive your grade. Your items will also be officially awarded to you when you receive your grade.

Speaking of grades, I will be getting to everyones salaries tomorrow

Will there be a time limit before each mod post in this quest? Things can go pretty slow if we are waiting for everyone who doesn't show up. I just wanted to make sure we could keep a steady pace with a large number of players.

That's a really good question. I might set it at two weeks in between posts, or one if there is a really large group of players. Constant dialogue will be kept up behind the scenes so that we know who is absent, busy, etc etc. But we're going to be working so that it doesn't take forever.
