I'm afraid to say that the picture on your Character Sheet is already being used by this PC. You'll have to find another one.

As for the sword itself, you don't have to post in the shop itself, but you tag a thread you want to take place there with [Shop Name Here] in the title. The purchase can be made on your own, so long as it adheres to the Price list as well as what would be feasible in Mizahar.

I also wanted to remind everyone to take a look at the seasonal calendar and see if there are any events anyone wanted to participate in! We have open threads for the bird-chasing event on the 6th and repairing the Pearl House on the 28th opening up soon, but just about anything's up for grabs. The number of people interested in an event, the bigger the event becomes!

Hey all,
so I am having problems with posting on the labour aid forums.
Everytime I click post reply an overlay of the top of the last page appears over the reply box and I don't know what I can do to get rid of it.

It didn't seem to happen here so I am wondering if maybe it's a big or something?

Pre-NaNoWriMo Grading

Another quick reminder/announcement from your friendly neighborhood Magpie. As most of you know, National Novel Writing Month is the month of November, and it always sparks a huge blaze of writing going all over Mizahar. However, being that November is also the last month of this season, I wanted to talk to everyone about how the grading situation will be impacted.

Gossamer and I both participated in NaNo last year (and if memory serves, Goss won with over 150k words), and as previous years' participants will remember, the event is fairly time consuming. While grading won't completely halt for the month of November, it will be significantly slower. Therefore, we can expect a decent sized backlog of grades, with a lot of experience points going around come early December. I will be endeavoring to have the grading queue cleared by the start of NaNo, so we can start from a fresh slate.

So what, you say? You don't care when your threads get graded, so long as it happens eventually?

While we greatly, greatly appreciate this attitude, there does exist a situation in which people want those grades to occur before season-end: People hoping to move up a skill level by the time wages are counted. If you want to be at Competent level <insert skill> by the end of the season, so you can collect that nice L2 paycheck, you're going to want to write and submit those threads before NaNo, to make sure they get graded before season-end.

Just a quick heads up on a topic that probably doesn't affect many people, but I thought was worth at least mentioning

Riverfall's normally near the top in site activity, and I hope to see that continue!

Just a Quick Reminder folks.

NaNo is coming up around the corner. We have less than a month to start thinking of it. I'm going to have some contests specific just to Riverfall during the month to make it extra special for the players here. There will be a big announcement about it about ten days from the end of the month. So look for it around the 21st. This contest will include a huge expansion of the Perk Points System of prizes. Category winners will get 10 points to spend in the store. The more categories you win, the more points you have to spend. So go for it.
