While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

Spring 4, AV 513

The night was nearly over. Eida was just lying on the grass and looked how the Moon changed his place with the Sun. She felt so free enjoyed how the calm wind tickled her. And Syna nearly arrived. Eida sat up and put her cloak on her head so the Sun won't hurt her eyes so badly. She saw the little light. Further, further and Syna showed herself. Eida turned her head. Her skin has become ashy, her horns have disappeared, her hair has turned to white and long black claws has grown on her fingers and on her toes. She stood up. It was time to go into the forest for some rest.

She went along there but she didn't want to rest. She wanted to discover the nature at daylight. She couldn't do it usually. She could her birds songs. She heared the little thrush first. It was beautiful and could've seen how it catches an earthworm from the ground and eat it. Then she heared swallow. And many many more. It was a beautiful choir for her ears. And then she saw a cat which chased a lark. The lark couldn't fly very well. It tried to escape from its doom. It could. It hid in little hole where the cat tried and tried to catch it but failed it. After some minute the cat realized it couldn't do anything so it went to "play" with another prey. Eida walked close to that hole and saw the little lark came out. Its wing was broken. Eida had to do something. She picked up the bird gently. She saw the bird would escape because she was like a spider but it couldn't do anything. Eida tried to find a quick way to stabilize its wings.

She found two little twig which fit with the lark's wings. She now searched for something which kept it there. She was looking around and thinking for a solution for it.
" Don't worry little. I will let you and won't scare you but let me find a rope or something. You're going to be fine."

Daylight(Kreig and Fallon)

It was quiet in the early morning light, the hum of the morning chorus barely filling it, and a sound that Fallon had grown use to in the season before. But soon the silence would be masked by the hum of a busy city of Syliras, the sun would escape behind the towering buildings and levels, and only the light of burning torches would guide them through the maze of stone. But that was the price for safety. Hooves pawed against the ground, the quiet panting of Orvin as he paced next to the horses, the gentle clink of metal against metal, it was as it had been for a near age, or at least that was as it seemed to her at least.

It was Fallon’s turn this time to sit alone in the saddle, being carefully lead along by Natasha who sat quiet proudly on the back of her own horse, with Kreig behind. Looking sheepishly down at reins, Fallon felt the leather in her hands, feeling it run through her fingers, as the horse quiet calmly trotted on. She watched the cub stop suddenly his ears pricking as if he had heard something. Cautiously Fallon pulled on the reigns, the horse releasing a snort as it stopped.
“G… Good horse…” she mumbled as she carefully patted its side before turning her head to Orvin “What is it? Come on Orvin.”

But the cub it seemed to have other plans. It let out a yap, making both her and the horse flinch, before the pup proceeded to bolt away.
“Orvin!” she shouted after him as he disappeared into the undergrowth. Pulling at the reigns she turned briefly to Kreig and his escort, a moment of both annoyance and worry filling her face. It would be easier for her to dismount and go after the cub that way, but he disappeared with such speed that she did not give it the thought. She gave the reigns a quick whip “I’ll be back in a chime!”
The horse gave a second snort, and trotted forward and off the path with Fallon sheepishly guided the horse on. Seriously Orvin. We’re so close to Syliras and it’s now that you decided to bolt off?

Daylight(Kreig and Fallon)

" Oh no you don't, I've had enough of getting lost as it is!" Natasha spoke as she redirected her horse to follow Fallon. She turned her head ever so slightly as she gave Kreig a mock glare as the Brawler from Sunberth whistled innocently. A few days earlier they had taken a left rather than a right, which essentially means they got lost. Caused by Kreig losing control of the horse that day.... which cost them several days as the fact of the manner is they practically forget which way was which until they came upon a knight patrol a few days later.

As Natasha trotted behind Fallon, her main thoughts and concern were for where the wolf cub was heading and hoping that they not be delayed any longer. An entire season in the wild lands was nothing to be scoffed at and proved to be a major inconvenience as she was late with her report and it would have been optimal for Kreig to have officially been inducted prior to the season's end.

Kreig himself simply wished for a warm bed and a properly cooked meal, the fact they were mearly a day a way made him feel a bit impatient and he would have liked to get new boots as well to replace his current ones. All in all they had no time for the Wolf Cub's shenanigans and both Natasha and he wish to be done with this ordeal.

OOCI have the permission from Fallon to control Orvin a bit

Eida came up with an idea. She collected two leaves and plucked a strong halm from the ground. She used two twigs and the leaves and she binded to its wing with the halm. The bird calmed down now and Eida put it on her shoulder. It didn't want to escape now. It remained there calmly and started to sing. Eida listenned the melody of the lark, like it was singing "Thank you". But she didn't enjoy it for so long. She heared some noise. She looked around and noticed a white animal. It was like a little puppy. A little wolf. Eida went closer slowly. Now she could see clearly Orvin. The bird on her shoulder stopped the singing.

Orvin noticed the slim, tall girl too. He were examined her for a moment then went closer. He took some smell from Eida.
Eida smiled at him. She knew now that little wolf won't harm them. She knelled down for him and pat him. He was just staring at her and stayed still. Like he was waiting for someone. Eida stood up and looked around if somebody was there. But noone. Eida couldn't see well anyway in the forest because Syna's light. The bird on her shoulder didn't like the little wolf but it remained calm. Eida looked down at the puppy. She again kneeled down and pat him. She tried to be careful because of her long nails.

“Orvin! Orvin!” she gave a shout out between the trees.
She managed to bring the horse to a trot, its hooves crunching on the leaves as it went forward. Her eyes darted about in front of her, scanning the undergrowth for the yapping cub. Obviously something had caught his attention, it was evident in the fact he was misbehaving and not responding to her calls. She tapped the sides of the horse with her heels and set it onwards. Shifting in the saddle she continued her search, even with the shouts of Natasha echoing behind. She caught sight of Orvin disappearing out of sight, and quickly – or as best she could- turned the horse to follow after him, with a scowl definitely forming on her face.
Damn pup!

But as she carefully guided the horse on and into the clearing, her eyes not only fell upon Orvin but the strange woman that was there with him. The horse gave a snort, his hooves stamping as she studied the woman there. The first thing she noticed was the white hair, and the ash coloured skin, giving the belief that perhaps the woman at first was sick. But as she studied more closely from the safety of the horse she noticed those slender hands with those long black nails.
Symenstra! was what screamed through Fallon’s mind.
“Orvin! Come,” her tone was firm and enough so that the wolf cubs head turned round to face her. He blinked, almost looking surprised that she had managed to follow him, before he padded away quiet calmly. But Fallon’s eyes were locked upon the Symestra, her guard up as she thought through her limited knowledge about them. The only thing that did answer however was to approach them with caution and armed. She stilled her mind and prepared herself to call upon her Djed should she need to, “Who are you? What you doing in the Wildlands?”

When the pup went back to his master. Eida looked up to her. She closed one of her eyes so she can see more clearly at the sunlight. A tall woman stood there obviously ready to attack her anytime. She had pale skin and curly hair but Eida couldn't tell much. She introduced herself to her. She didn't want any misunderstanding.

"Good day! So his name is Orvin. He is adorable. And don't worry, I'm Eida priestess and daughter of Leth. I'm an ethaefal who is a symenestra at Syna's light. What's your name... dear?"

She stood up and showed her mark from Leth as a proof she wasn't lying to her. On her ashy skin the lumionus crescent moon was there. She even smiled at the woman and her fang could be seen a little. Although she was nearly forgot about the little bird. She looked there wasn't sure what to do. The damage on its wing wasn't so bad but it couldn't fly right now. Eida thought maybe it was good chance to ask and maybe Fallon could help. Eida took the bird to her hand and showed to her.

"I was about the save this little one. A cat tried to get it but it gave up and this bird can't use its wing. I tried to stabilize it but I don't know what can more I do? "

She was worrying about it and maybe the other woman knew the answer for it.

Fallon sat upon the back of the horse still, eyes fixed upon the Symestra with careful and hawk-like eyes. She could of sprouted all the nonsense she wanted, but it did not mean that Fallon was about to believe her. Orvin was still next to her, a look of confusion upon his face on why his master seemed so on edge all so suddenly. She tugged at the reigns, and shifted her weight as she remembered where the Kukri sat. Her guard was indeed up, and she was ready for action. The girl licked at her lips as the creature tried to introduce herself, and tried to give reassurance of her position. She caught a glimpse of the gnosis mark of Leth, but no soon did her eyes lay upon it did they once more return.

“I see,” said Fallon. She looked down upon Eida but did not know what else to say. She knew for certain not to give away her name and along with facts about herself. This was the wildlands after all, who knew what sort of creatures existed out here and what people would do for any bit of information. Then of course, there was the mention of the bird. In honesty Fallon knew nothing about the creatures. Sure a wolf was one thing, but a bird was completely different. And so she answered bluntly and honestly “I know nothing about birds. If you have stabilised its wing then I presume that all it will need now is time to heal. But this is the wild lands; it is far from safe out here for an injured creature. It will most probably die within a few days, if it is not caught and eaten first.”

That was the way Fallon was, the cold survivor mentality. Though it was indeed the bitter truth of it all, for out there anything could happen, and without a means to even escape – let alone fight – then there was no chance of survival. Orvin gave a yap and looked up at her with large eyes, before she stretched down and pulled the pup up onto the saddle with firm words. She spoke in a firm tone to him “Don’t run off like that, it is dangerous out here,” before once more turning her head to Eida “As far as I know there is nothing more you can do. Unless of course you are going to take a bird with you on your travels.”
