Hadyn rather liked this Bolivar fellow with his blunt statements and congenial nature. Brushing her hands together she approached him, eyes narrowed in the sunlight until she reached the shadow of shade. His second comment issued as she reached down to retrieve her pack, a bemused smile on her lips as she glanced sideways at him. She hadn't exactly displayed much in the way of strength, simply staring at the abandoned project like a mule since he'd arrived. But she wasn't one to correct an errant compliment so she simply shrugged and stood up straight. Shifting the pack over one shoulder, the woman looked toward the city, ready to get him into the Gates when he spoke again. A brief laugh was her first response before finding him again with an amused gaze.
"Hmm," she replied thoughtfully as she waited for him to rise. "I s'ppose I'd bear you o'er the threshold like a bride."
A grin curved her lips as she indicated the way into the city. She'd maintain a closeness to Bolivar in case, as he noted, he faltered. Likely she could drag him into the Syliras if need be. Carrying was a bit over zealous on her part.
"What brings you to Syliras, if I might ask?"
He hadn't exactly given her a reason for his sudden arrival. And if his poor state was any indication it appeared he was not well suited for the journey. A concerned glance was given every few steps to make sure he was in stride. They were a few chimes outside of the Gates, close enough to consider it a short walk, far enough for it to be a bother if he collapsed entirely.
