Spring 84th, 513AV

Just a little earlier in the day, perhaps not more than half a bell ago, Ana had brought forth a disguise yet again. Taking on the guise of a Nykan, blackening her hair with a pull from her palm, rubbing the djed in like one would with soap until finally the blonde strands that had been light turned to dark, black ones. After that, it was her honeyed eyes, she shut her eyelids and conjured the image of blue, vibrant like her older brothers, Ximal's. If it weren't for the difference of facial structure, or body build, she would have looked exactly like him. Smoothing out the freckles next from her skin with two fingers, on each side, and then exhaling a breath.

It felt good to look like a Nykan, physically, felt even better to act like one.

Out of her room with canesword in hand, Ana was going to sneak out of the hostel for a days of acceptance among her peers. Tip toeing down the stairs, she would peek around a corner to see if anyone was there- finding the coast was clear. Next was the other side, doing the same thing, she was in the clear to move to the front door without being noticed. But she would have to be quick lest Vysia caught her, it would have been difficult to explain why she had Ana's clothes, or Ana's canesword to the monk. Harder still to letting the woman know she knew how to work magic.

Hurrying across the threshold, with a pitter patter from her feet, Ana opened the door and was out in a jiff. This would be her last day in Nyka for awhile, she and Ximal would be travelling to Syliras tomorrow, she had to get the best of the best of the city that she could before leaving. Striding forwards and through streets, a rhythmetic tap to her caneswords tip on rock along with her brisk and light footsteps. Oh the things she could do today, the things she could do, but what? It took no more than half a bell to finally stop, and gawk at a rare occurrence. A caravan coming from the gates.

Stopping to watch this display, she watched as they moved slowly onwards, giving them dirty looks, and some giving her dirty looks back. It was when a rather odd sight also came tromping after the wagons and merchants, a big, gruff looking guy that had seen a little too much in his time. Half his face seemed to have been melted off. Ana snickered, covering her face for a moment, he would get along swimmingly well in Nyka if something like that had happened to him. Maybe she could test that, she looked around a bit, squinting her eyes as a rather devious smile formed.

Curling the corner of her lips upwards, Ana left the caravan to its own devices while still following after it from the road horizontal to it, only alleyways would let her know it was still nearby. She was looking for a person but not just any person, they would have to easily believe a blatant lie, and she found that person. It was a child, with all the charm of a snake, Ana pulled her coin purse out and held it out to him. "Excuse me lad" Ana spoke, lightly "I have something urgent to tell you- the caravan that just arrived in Nyka is filled with many spoiled goods, and illegal items..." She hushened her voice down to a whisper, crouching to be eye level.

"I saw it with my own eyes, they're carrying weapons larger than knives, those knives are going to hurt the mother city- quick, I'll give you all the contents of this purse if you alert a monk, I'll keep an eye on the evil caravan." Ana concluded, swinging the purse to make jingly noises. The boy stared up at her wide eyed, following the sway of the purse and then to her, gasping "they what!?" He took in the seriousness of the situation, and Ana knew she had him hooked. Placing the purse into his hands, and ushering him off, Ana stood up and watched as the poor deceived boy rushed off.

This was too perfect. Ana rubbed her hands together and walked off, back to find the caravan once again and as she would pass through an alley, she figured she would not need her disguise any longer. Stepping into a corner and leaning against it, readying herself for the sudden fatiguing effects of the use of her morphing, she eased out of the black hair, and let her mind think of her normal white-blonde. The blue eyes dyed gold once again went back to normal in spurts, just as the freckles would become visible once again. Sliding down, Ana heaved a breath of air, shaking.

The retransformation may have taken a bell at most, but she was ready to continue her prowl around the city streets. Up she went, using the canesword as support and off to find the caravan she went, once again. It wouldn't take long, she picked up small snippets of whispers and redirected herself to move towards the flaxen district. She wanted to see how Purple was doing, if perhaps she had just wreacked havoc upon the caravan, or him, he was a monster of a man, or what were they called.. Ana tried to recall what the purple people race was called, but couldn't.

Xi sat perched in his room looking out the window the breeze strolling in through the open shutters, but then Xi heard something. A person shuffling about. Well Xi didn't know who else was there. Xi then leant out of the window looking down over the ledge to see a person with black hair walking out of the hostel, in ana's clothes with the sword he'd gotten her. Either that's ana practising morphing...or I'm going to be kicking someone's ass very soon. Xi curled his hand into a fist but restrained his urge to leap out and tackle them down then and there. Ana's been through enough crap this season and Xi was going to make sure no more happened, to her at least. So Xi instead climbed out of the window span around and up onto the roof of the hostel. Hauling himself up with a little difficulty. Now standing on the roof he didn't stand out, much more than usual. But Xi decided to follow the figure out through the streets via the roof tops, the buildings in nyka were close enough to easily traverse the city via the roof tops,, but not quite as crammed as sunberth's roof tops. Still, Xi followed the black haired figure. Then he spotted the caravan arriving. Interesting, where is that big blighter from ? Xi smirked and watched the figure speak to a child the voice too low for him to hear properly or rather too quiet a least from the height he was at.

Xi followed the figure back down another alley and watched it lean against a wall before the signature hair of his little "sister" appeared. Xi smirked watching her , her transformations took a long time, as always. But then again she didn't have a major history in magic, true his may have been the polar opposite of morphing but it had given him a basis for learning how to manipulate his djed. Xi took a deep breath and draged his fingers up to his eye's before rolling his finger tips across them to help with his own versions of morphing. Pressing lightly he thought of one of his techniques names. Evergreen it was a slow change but still on all account massively faster than ana's he opened his eye's slowly with now deep green irises. bringing his hand up to his head he thought about another technique of his eye'd seen the colours and pictured them visibly in his mind. Hauling up his hood he contorted his djed through his body and up to his hair. Grand Brown Xi smirked as he now felt the instant tugging drain of both transformations on his djed, pulling himself down onto one knee to watch ana move, but also to support his own eight from the instant loss of stamina.

Catching his breath Xi swung himself down over the edge of the building before dropping down onto the ground with a loud thud. Bending his knees upon impact he took a slow breath and lowered his tone of voice trying to do so without the aid of his morphing. "I saw what you did, thief." Xi smirked keeping his hood down over him and his cloak around him, crouching down to loose a few inches of his height and using the fact his cloak was loose to help conceal everything. Right now he was pretending to be a monk to freak her out , knowing full well the ramifications that she might enact upon him but still it'd be worth it for the laugh. "Tell me, what are you doing out by yourself? Where's the "giant " that protects you?"

The words illicited a cold wave of fear down her body, nestling around her shoulders like the beginnings of a noose about to be tightened around her neck. Panick, it began to choke her, tensing up, she breathed, inhaling through her nostrils and exhaling slowly before turning slowly to face the figure. Frame rigid with suspicion and paranoia, eyes hardening over as she saw the darkly cloaked figure. Disgustion, it sat on the back of her tounge, with disbelief on the tip of it "and what did you see?" Running the past actions she had previously played, she had followed a caravan, had given a boy her purse with only 5 silver mizas to start a rumor by alerting monks.

Oh, and she morphed her self. Ana still hadn't an idea of what would happen to her if monks discovered her secret, so she had to be careful despite the place not being Sunberth. It had thuggish qaulities.

With a hand on a cocked hip, and the other tapping the tip of the canesword impatiently on the ground she examined him. Took in his figure, his clothes, narrowing her eyes only when she did not see a monk badge on his robes. Either this monk was a fool, or an imposter trying to play monk, but she figured she would humor him for a bit "oh please, please don't hurt me oh powerful monk, don't break my bones, and petch my defenceless ass, just because the one person that could skin you alive isn't here with me" she said in a high pitched mocking voice. The hand that had been on her hip dramatically went to cover her mouth "but oh wait..." pointing the tip of the canesword to where the badge should have been.

"Where is your badge of authority, 'Monk'?" The edge of her tension seemed to wear away, replacing itself with sarcasm. This wasn't a monk, and she was growing more confident every tick that this was just some idgit. Rocking on her heels, Ana debated with herself on what to do, she wanted to see the chaos caused by her actions but at the same time she wanted to run and hide. Perhaps she could do both at the same time? Oh no, no, no, she had to deal with this moron first. Sliding the canesword inbetween her body, and her belt, she crouched a bit and held her hands up in front of her, with hands opened slightly, as if she were grabbing something.

I'm going to take you down with a move my brother showed me, I hope you enjoy rock in your mouth. Ana made a gesture for him to come at her, if he ran at her, she would attempt to grab onto him, duck, and let his force and weight fly behind her. Much like Ximal had when he first showed her how to do this, if he did something else, well Ana was pretty much screwed then.

Postby Rabbit on May 20th, 2013, 12:44 am

Rabbit, for once, had decided to go to the gates. Maybe go exploring or something, he wasn't sure. He didn't want to go too far away from the city though... as dangerous as it was inside, it was equally, or more, out in the wilderness. And at least he knew Nyka. Knew the dangers. Of that, there were mainly two. The first, night, which he obviously didn't have to worry about. The second however... that was a different matter. The monks. The stupid, annoying, thugish, bullying monks. But mostly stupid. Though he assumed most people were at low intelligence at first, the Nykan monks just constantly forced themselves deeper into the pit of idiocy.

He sighed deeply as he hopped towards the exit of the city, still trying to mentally decide on something. Why hadn't he brought Sivy? The dog would certainly be a help... but, well, maybe it was just because he wasn't planning on going outside in the first place. The Pycon wasn't quite sure what he was planning at this point, so just went with the flow. Most days were like this... nothing to do, but once in a while, something interesting popped up. A new person, a new thing. You never knew what was going to happen. Maybe that was what he was looking for... if he was looking for anything.

With a small shrug, he reached the gates. Once there, he gazed around for any sign... of anyone. Well, anyone interesting. There was the usual business and such, but something caught his eye. Well, two somethings. A pair of humans, both in cloaks, talking. They didn't look too friendly... Though it wasn't a smart thing to get into, his curiosity and boredom drove Rabbit to move closer, to find out what was going on. As he approached, he caught the end of a statement. "...badge of authority, Monk?" the smaller figure stated, sarcasm dripping from their voice.

From that, the Pycon could get a small glimpse of the situation. A misunderstanding. The larger man certainly looked like a monk, but as the lady said: he didn't have a badge. What a giveaway. This was certain to turn out interestingly... As he watched, the woman baited the large not-monk with a simple gesture. What would happen next... Something inside him made Rabbit not really want either of the people to die, so he came up with a plan of action. Someone about to land a killing blow: try to rip the weapon out of their hands. It sounded like a good plan.

To ready for it, he grabbed his whip from it's usual place and hopped even closer, ready to move. He wasn't in a very conspicuous place. It was really quite open... but he got down on all fours to look a little more like a realistic rabbit. That trick always worked... even in a city like this, a small, cute pet often got overlooked.
I am not cute. Rabbits, yes, look cute, and I look like a rabbit. But keep in mind that inside, I am not cute. Remember that.

Xi smirked lightly beneath his hood looking down at ana, not on her. It was true the events this season had made her more of a pain in the ass than usual. Xi stepped forward using the crouched positioning of his legs masked by his cloak, watching the positioning of ana. Then there was the higher pitched mocking voice, and the motions and mannerisms. He watched as she pointed to where the monks badge or insignia would have been but it wasn't there. Xi smirked again the grin crawling up his face. Using the same masked glowered voice Xi spoke again. "Who says i'm a monk? You just assumed that, and it's an insignia, not a badge." Xi kept himself in a hunched down position and stepped closer again as she lowered her cane sword towards the ground. Xi watched her lower into the stance that he'd taught her. Xi smirked and stepped a little closer still. Keeping himself looking shorter, in fact hidden behind his cloak he was using his fighting stance, to help lock his lower posture. "If your planning to throw me, big mistake." Xi smirked and closed the gap in an instant shifting his foot around but keeping his cloak covering him all but his hand which reached out and grabbed a hold of her left arm with his right, tugging her off balance and rolling her around mid air pulling her closer and into a reverse hug, so her back was against him.

"Two things. Firstly, one day that mouth is going to get you in trouble. And secondly i've gotta start teaching you more don't i ?"
Xi smirked lightly and stood up to full height, hoisting her off of the ground as he held her with one arm. Rolling his head back he slid the hood off to show his face, and the red scarf that still hung down from it contrasting against his now brown hair and now green eyes. "Y'know your not the only one who can change yourself." Xi stuck his tongue out lightly in a mocking sense, and then noogied her lightly. "Your not causing trouble again are you lil sis? Because you know who ends up with his nose to the grind stone to save your backside." Xi set her down again lowering himself lightly to place her feet back onto the ground. Xi rolled his fingers and tilted his head towards her. "Sooo, what was up with that caravan and the nykan kid ? You planning something ? Or is this another zand plot ? Oh i also got everything ready for us to leave tomorrow. And your slacking in your training, i mean it's not like you work so you don't have that excuse."

A thudding, pressing need called to Evalin, urging her movements, hastening her steps, forcing her to search, red eyes wide, for the object of her desire. She could sense it, smell it. The sweet nectar of life that flowed in the veins of those she passed. So close, so close and yet... it would never be so simple to obtain in a city such as this.

All here are too bothersome, too well prepared against such surprises that would work anywhere else. It is a city of cut throats and violence... and so the prey are all hunters themselves.

Evalin had to make do, taking what she could when the chance arose, and often this was many days between. Her head throbbed, calling for that which sustained her being, gave her life and kept her moving forward into the endless future. Now, after nearly 5 days, it was time to hunt once more.

Let us find one to ensnare my Dear Tsenrika. She called within her mind, gently stroking the surface of the icy gem about her neck, I wonder who might be about so kind as to grant a child what she requires?

Few would grant a child life, let alone what else she desired in this city... came the solemn answer.

So it was that Evalin happened upon a particular scene between a peculiar pair. A man and a woman (Evalin's head thrummed with a familiar urge) engaged, talking of some matter that Evalin could not quite hear. From her vantage Evalin could see the man's large frame, the muscles of his back tensing as he held the woman before him, blocked from her view.

Well then... Perhaps this day shall be fruitful after all. Though, I do hope this man does not ravage the girl too much. The blood of the used is often too bitter for my taste.

So Evalin leaned against the wall, staff held close to her chest as she watched from the darkness of her hood, two points of red burrowing into the man's back with a single minded intensity.

Wretched Aura: As a Wretched One Evalin possesses an unnatural aura about her that causes unease in those who get too close. It can come as a prickle of the hair on the back of the neck, a sense of 'wrongness' about her. How people experience it is different depending on their personality and how they handle the unnatural and unknown. Animals tend to become more agitated, more easily sensing how wrong Evalin is and often avoiding contact with her.

Rumors

Postby Imass on May 20th, 2013, 5:15 am

After a relatively short journey, the caravan finally reached the city of Nyka. Traveling through a wood that lined the bottom of a tributary ridge, the group approached through the wheat fields that surrounded the city. The Knight didn't know a thing about growing crops, but the wheat was all ready for harvest. "It is not even Summer and the wheat is grown.... petching magic... Nyka is full of shyke already..." Garonn the Skeptic was already denying the credibility of the city-state and he hadn't even entered it.

The Akalak turned to the guard who rode at his side, "What's going on with the wheat?"

"Skerr of the Bountiful Wheat. She is one of Celestials.. From what I understand, Skerr has powerful magic that makes the wheat harvestable three times a year," the guard responded in a low voice. He was one of the regulars that traveled with the caravan to Nyka.

Garonn responded to this information with a scowl, "Tell me more about these Celestials,"

"I don't really know much. They are Alvinas known as Uphis of the Sharp Blade, Laat of the Heavy Coffers, and Xannos of the Tempered Anvil -- oh and Skerr. They each rule over a section of the city. They all command a legion of warrior monks," the guard coughed some flem and spat, "I choose to ignore it. Once we sell our goods, I get the petch out of this place. They don't like foreigners,"

The Knight barred his teeth and growled in disgust. Preconceived notions from dealing with the gods lead him to make presumptions about the city. He hadn't even entered Nyka and he already hated it. He hated any individual who commanded people's lives using the threat force, coercion, or magic -- even if they called them-self a god. The Akalak also assumed that the city was full of brainwashed chatel, because that is what he experienced in Ravok and Syliras. He knew in his heart that Nyka would be just as corrupt as the rest of states in the region.

The Skeptic took mental note of all his thoughts and realized that he shouldn't make assumptions. He would give the Celestials the benefit of the doubt for now, "...Uphis, Laat, Skerr, and Xannos... sounds like a load of shyke to me. If I get the chance I am going to tell this Skerr person to get on her knees. I'll petch her in the face until her knees are raw," Deep down in his heart though, he knew that this place wouldn't be any different than what he experienced in the past.

The guard laughed at Garonn's antics, "Yup, I agree, thank Rhysol I wasn't born here... Listen, Garonn becareful what you say in there,"

"I wasn't born yesterday ser," the warrior laughed while scratching the scar tissue on his face. The city walls finally came into view. From the Knight's perspective the walls were weak on the western side. Although an impressive work of masonry, nothing could compare to the defenses of the Fortress City. There was a single entrance in the long wall armed with a simple porticullis. Whatever they were trying to defend in Nyka, the Knight was sure it wasn't humans. Garonn decided he would inspect the walls before he left the city.

"When do I get paid?" Garonn said after several minutes of silence.

The guard pointed at center of the city, where a huge stone palace rose above the rest of the buildings, "That big one in the middle is where the Celestials stay. Once we get them to the other side of the Palace and into the Flaxen district the job is complete."

"Verily," Garonn grumbled.

The caravan soon arrived at the massive walls. They were a dozen times taller than the Akalak. Knight was in a piss sour mood and he showed it through his facial expression. The vibe of Nyka annoyed him even more than anyone could know. He felt so out of place it was sickening to his stomach. As soon as the caravan passed under the 20 foot wall . The passage was dark and stifling. He imagined a siege of the city and taking point at the gates. The conflict would be bloody impossible task to push through. He would do it though if the pay was enough. Garonn got a lot of stares from the wandering chadel in the Western Quarter. There was a noticeable contrast between the Ravokian dress and the Nykans. No words were said in the party as they mobbed through the streets.

"Why do none cross that bridge?" the Knight asked in genuine interest. He could not see any water, so the need of a bridge made no sense, "Perhaps it is a moat? That would be clever...".

The caravan guard looked at Garonn then back at the bridge as they ambled north, "The Cursed Bridge... The Nykans think it attracts evil beings... here in Nyka, your a foreigner... I say that if you cross the bridge, you will be ostracized by Nyka, if not killed by blood monks,"

"Verily," Garonn nodded, "Nothing else that needed to be said about that," he thought. The Akalak was skeptical of his story, but he did not have time to test it. The possibility of such a severe consequences dampered the mere idea of the issue. He grinned, grimly at the Nykans as he drove his horse onward through the streets.

Soon the white and red buildings gave way to a bridge with a lot of traffic. Crossing the bridge of the dead for the first time was a tremendous experience. Rows and rows of candles lined the passage and dark tapestries hung from the ceiling. The vibe from the bridge was somber, "Why the candles?" he asked the guard who lead the horses.

"This is the Bridge of the Dead. They honor the dead on this bridge..."

The Knight stopped for a moment and looked into the Apeture, "Amazing," He did not question the Apeture yet. Staring into the darkness Garonn thought he saw something move. Paranoia swept his mind for a moment, then he decided to ignore it.

"We are crossing the Aperture. The superstitious Nykans believe this fissure is the cause of much magic and the emergence of evil beings," The guard said in a low, flat tone. The Akalak nodded and the guard continued, "We enter the Celestial Square. This is where the Alvina preside. This is where the most foreign friendly folk stay,"

Garonn took mental note of the guards words, but did not respond. Instead his mind raced with ideas, "This is where I must come first. Perhaps I can gain audience with the government. This is where I start... Petching caravan can't even trust the Nykans enough to let me be..."

After what seemed a long while of walking through the bright masonry, the arrived in the designated location: the Heavy Coffers Headquarters. The building was square with wide hallways. Large sigils and tapestries hung from the masonry, but there was no common sign in Garonn's line of sight. Stopping on the other side of the way, the caravan gathered up before entering the warrior-monk filled building. The Knight knew it was them, because there was an aura of hostility all around him. The Knight just wanted to get on with his business.

Garonn approached the guard who had hired him, "Here we are. I think you can agree that I did my job,"

"Verily," the man said gruffly then paused for a long while as he pursued a little paper book with notes. The Knight scanned the area around him. Down the street from him appeared to be a place where merchants exchanged goods. The area he was seeing was in-fact the bank, however he didn't understand what banks where just yet. Across the street from that was the main entrance to the courtyard that they passed with the Laat sigils. The Knight did not know the purpose of the building either, it was all confusing to him. Already he forget which was it was to the Celestial Square, "I will higher you for the trip back and feed you while we are in the city,"

"I don't need your slop merchant, I have coin!" the Knight took the offer of food almost as an insult. He was his own Akalak and could handle his own nourishment. Despite his strong pride, the guard simply laughed loudly, almost obnoxiously at the Akalak.

"They do not give food here to the likes of you! This city does not sell food. The distribution of food is controlled by the Alvina. It is outlawed to purchase food in Nyka. You got to get their permission to eat."

The Knight almost lost his mind when the merchant explained the social policy. A wave of shock appeared on his face as his scarred face twisted in an ugly gnarl, "You petching with me or what? I am don't need your bullshyke,"

"I swear it Garonn. That is how this world works. Sign the contract to return to Ravok and I will pay good. You showed your prowess on the road," The merchant said with a stern face. The Knight's mind began to race in anger. He wondered if it would be righteous to burst in anger. It was sure to feel great to display his outrage publicly, but he was certain it wouldn't be righteous. He decided to do what felt good.

"So you mean to tell me that with all that damn wheat surrounding the city --that wheat that is harvested three times a year --the Alvina control who eats?" The merchant nodded, "So the Alvina have a monopoly on the food?" The merchant wearily nodded again. The Knight began to grind his teeth. His outrage and annoyance at the situation was amazing. Garonn hated monopolies with all his heart. Being the skeptic he was, he gave no credibility to the Alvina at that moment. He could not alley himself with such an organization.

"Nyka's bullshyke is even worse than Ravoks...Very well," the Knight said loudly after some moments of glancing around, "I have business to attend to, I will return here soon" Garonn flipped his hips after signing the document and marched towards the Heavy Coffers, "...petch this city..." he said under his breath.

The guard caught Garonn's arm and looked him in the eye, "Watch your mouth here Garonn, listen to me, I don't want you to screw things up for me,"

oocThanks for reading the long post! I was trying to make and entrance but people kept posting XD I decided to make Garonn's entrance to the city in this thread more informative so I don't get in trouble too fast because of ignorance! Ill post as fast as possible!

Postby Ana Sol Starris on May 20th, 2013, 5:32 am

Ana tensed up as the man stepped closer, watching him like a hawk with every intent to strike at him if he moved a single inch closer. If this wasn't a monk, then who was he and how did he know about Ximal, both her protector, and a giant in size. How did he know she was a thief in the first place? It wasn't like that ugly brand was showing itself, she had the big red scarf Ximal got her to cover that petching thing up. There was too much uncertainty, mystery, it couldn't have just been coincidence, there was something that she didn't know, or wasn't seeing and there wasn't time to make use of auristics either. The bloke made a move as she stood and gawked there foolishly.

It was both terrible and stupendous, she watched as he moved at such a speed she had trouble following with her eyes that he seemed to blur, putting everything around her that wasn't him into slow motion. Even if she would have had time to react to what she had seen, her body wouldn't have been able to follow the orders of her brain to move in time to avoid. The grip on her wrist had been gentle, but firm, it pulled her forwards and she felt herself twirl around unable to stop herself, or him, mouth opening in horror to scream as loud as she could, but it was silent. Into his back, Ana was hugged, and to be frank... Dumbfounded by the action.

Registering the voice that filtered out from behind her as to be Ximal's, she almost schrieked at him, she wanted to smack him around for doing something so cruel to her. Ana snapped her eyes up to him, about to give him a piece of her mind, only to have her frustration and anger deflate quickly. Breaking out into relieved laughter, she would only stop when he noogied her, her relief quickly turning to a less than pleased attitude towards him until he set her back down. Squirming to get away from the childishness that was the noogie to her cranium, why did she have to be treated like such a child some times. She was a grown woman.

"Oh c'mon Ximal, at least I'm not cowering in fear and letting people try to over power me.." she said bluntly, turning to look at him feeling better knowing that this wasn't some complete stranger "Trouble? Noo... Not at all Ximal, not at all... Or no more than what I usually get into." She added in with a wink, before continuing on "I told the boy if he alerted a monk that the caravan had weapons larger than knives to sell, I would give him all the money I had on me at the momet... Saw a guy with his face half melted off walking with the caravan, figured I'd send a welcoming party his way just to see if his face was melted off in a fight, or had been a complete accident."

"I know we're leaving tomorrow, but thats why we should enjoy our last day here.. Wanna go see what chaos I might have caused? I caught word on where the ruckus might begin." Shrugging at his answer, she turned and began to walk away- only to trip forwards onto the ground. Her foot had caught on something rather small, but surprising, with an oof as she connected to the ground, she turned on to what ever she had fallen over. "The petch??" It was a brown blob for a rabbit, what the petch was a rabbit doing here in the city and not hunted down yet for food?? Lunging to grab the creature, when her skin would connect with it, Ana pulled her hand back in surprise at the texture of the animal.

That wasn't a rabbit, that was for sure.

The complete change in attitude perplexed Rabbit. First the two were fighting... now... not? The man changed his voice... then the other laughed... and acted like they were friends. What the petch? Did people actually have any sense here?? The whole encounter was making him irritated that they'd do something so stupid, and wasted his time. Of course, in truth, they hadn't been the ones to do so, it had been his choice to watch them. But it was never his fault. Always theirs. So now he glared at the two, for no real apparent reason at all. At least he'd managed to delve out the name of the larger figure. Ximal... eh. Whatever... not like he cared. Maybe if they met again in the city he could creep the guy out, but the Pycon doubted that. He'd probably just ignore the guy, or not even recognize him.

He was about to hop away, to do something else and forget about the event, but some one else seemed to have the same idea. The woman had walked away, and come crashing into him. Stupid humans never looked down!! The blow caused quite a large indent in his stomach, and knocked him over as well. The woman had apparently fallen down too, like he cared. He swore under his breath, while slowly fixing his form. He was fuming, mostly at how stupid these two humans were.

Sadly, it just got worse as his 'attacker' lunged to grab him. Touched Rabbit, then drew back. That simple poke, however, caused him to explode, something which rarely happened. "Could you not!?" He demanded loudly, before quickly shutting his mouth. Oops. Well... he couldn't back down now. Heaving himself up he took a few hops back and glared at the woman, partially forgetting about Ximal. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why did his day have to be filled with idotic people. One of his ears twitched involuntarily with annoyance, which probably looked cute to others. That simple fact made him even more annoyed. Mentally, he began raging at all the little things about humans that got on his nerves, particularly cuteness, and stupidity. Those were generally the worst.
I am not cute. Rabbits, yes, look cute, and I look like a rabbit. But keep in mind that inside, I am not cute. Remember that.

Xi sighed lightly and pressed his finger tips into his eye's taking a small amount of time and concentration to return his eye's to their regular deep dark royal neon blue. Then Xi lifted his hands up and slid them back over his hair following the removal of his hood with the slow pull of his hair turning black again. A smile crept on his face. "I can't fault you there, at least your not cowering however you do need to practice with that sword a bit more. I wont always be there to save your ass. And trouble...if i'm not mistaken that's your middle name. And not more than you usually get into? Am i going to have to nearly kill a monk again ?" Xi sighed and let his shoulders slump before he leant against the wall pulling the cloak from around him to over his back. The new scars on his face showing, and his bright dark eyes peering out at ana. And then...He felt like he was being watched. A piercing glare for a moment he ignored it before turning his attention back around to ana. A guy with his face half melted off, a caravan, her sending a kid off to go and lie to the monks ? Xi shook his head lightly and rose an eye brow at her.

"You may not be coming back...But i am. I'm setting up a school here. I'm going to teach others how to defend themselves. It's gonna be a pretty big place, so feel free to to stay there you'll always have a spare room if your ever in nyka and need it. Free of charge of course. " Xi smirked and then felt that boring glare again. Now he was sure he was being watched and his head flicked around in the opposite direction and caught sight of a red pair of eye's leering out of the darkness behind him. Then he heard ana yell out swearing. "You there hiding in the dark! Show yourself!" Xi leered at the darkness and his attention was now split between the darkness and ana.
