The half breed watched Kaie warily. Both armed with new weapons, a complete lack of experience could be as deadly as actual knowledge, though always more haphazard.
She watched as her blow struck, but was quickly deflected, learning that the closer range was a sacrifice for the inevitable move like Kaie's foot lodging itself into her stomach. Tinnok let out a grown, watching as the full blood's eyes...closed? And her body hurled itself at her, the dagger coming in at a strange and violent angle across her face and shoulders.
Despite the horrendous inaccuracy of the move, it was a vicious swipe and one that Tinnok couldn't hope to block in time with half of her spear somewhere past Kaie's torso, eyes widening as the blade plowed onward. She twisted her hips, shifting her feet, even tumbled backwards, releasing her grip on the spear and letting herself fall into what might have been a rather nice looking backwards handstand if she hadn't been in such a rush, and resulted in her toppling over herself, but jumping back up to her feet in a recovery that almost made up for it.
A moment of tense silence fell over the circle the full and half blood found themselves in, as if the the very forest itself was wondering if the young girl had drawn blood. Tinnok raised a dark finger to her face, and drew two crimson fingers in front of her eyes, cursing quietly beneath her breath.
She couldn't precisely be mad, however, not when it gave victory to the rambunctious young girl, so she held up the blood for Kaie to see, and bowed her head in defeat.
"You can have your petching spear, just give me my dagger back before you gouge someone's eye out with it." She grinned beneath the bow, despite the gruff nature of her words.
