Hunting Encounter

He watched as the woman dived away to the side and his arrow flew away uselessly. She rolled to her feet and charged straight for him, jumping and kicking out towards him. He judged the distance and then, on instinct, bent his knees and threw himself away to the side, with far less grace than she had. He avoided being kicked in the chest, instead landing heavily and rolling to his feet as quickly as he could, ripping his dagger hurriedly from its sheath and holding it up in front of him as he circled around to try and flank her while her back was turned.

OOCIs she carrying a knife or anything? You haven't mentioned one so I can only assume she's unarmed. I'm asking so that I don't try to plan out some form of brief knife fight only for her to not have one.

The attacker avoided the kick at the last possible moment, sending Raven flying past him. She landed and skid across the ground until she came to a halt, dust rising in the air. She could hear her foe trying to flank her as he positioned himself behind her, Raven reacted by cartwheeling to the side and out of the way of any potential attack.

She just stood there for a short moment in silence before suddenly spinning around on her feel, her shoulder length hair whipping around as her amber eyes locked onto her target with a subtle fierceness. At the moment, in the heat of battle she didn't notice any of the attackers features other than he was male and armed with a dagger, that was all that mattered.

Raven stepped in low, with one quick swoop she was only two feet away from him. One arm raised her to block any attempted strike with the dagger, her forearm would collide with the attacker's inner elbow if he did try to attack. Her other arm shot forth at lightening speed giving the attacker a hard opened hand slap, the sound echoing through the forest sending startled birds into the air.

"THAT, was for trying to kill me!" she said with more of an annoyed tone than an angry one. The slap was of course more humiliating than painful, just to add a sting. As soon as the slap had landed she retracted her arm quickly before pressing her forearm flat against his chest and pushing hard. Since the attacker has bigger and heavier than her, the most her shove would do is cause him to stumble backward a few steps, just to put some safe space between the two combatants.

The woman cartwheeled away from him, then rushed up to him and held her left arm up to keep him from stabbing her, while her hand cracked across his face like a whip.
"THAT, was for trying to kill me!" she laid her forearm against his chest and shoved as hard as she could. Given she was shorter than him it only made him stumble, but she'd be able to use that opening to attack him again. He adjusted his footing and gripped his dagger more tightly. He circled around her, then stepped it to stab at her.

Raven barely had time to regain her stance when the attacker circled around her and stepped in for an attack from behind, she heard his step come in from behind. She quickly stepped backwards towards him, throwing off the estimated distance of his attack as her butt pressed into his crotch, her back against his bare chest and her raised arm came down pinning his dagger arm to her side.

This new position was quite suggestive, a young woman pressed tightly against a shirtless man and Raven quickly began to enjoy herself with. The fight as adrenaline began to pump. "Oh, so you can do close range as well." she teased flirtily. "Let's see how that goes" with those last words she grabbed hold of his unarmed arm with both hands and twisted her body in the opposite direction pulling hard, as she did she stuck her foot out into the attackers path in order to trip and send him to the ground, which would hopefully end this fight so she could question the attacker's motives.

When the woman suddenly leant back against him he didn't quite know how to react, though his face felt hotter than it had before "Oh, so you can do close range as well" she teased "Let's see how that goes". She grabbed his left arm and pulled with all her strength, sticking her foot out and tripping him up. The dagger went flying from his hand and he landed on his back with a heavy thud. He rolled with the movement to lessen the impact and got back to his feet with a slight groan. He kicked his leg out at her shin. Hard. Hopefully she would bend forward slightly so he could hit her in the head.

Raven watched proudly as her attack went exactly as planned, a proud smirk stuck on her face. Her enemy stumbled over her strategically outstretched foot and fell to the ground with a loud thud, his weapon falling off to the side. She stepped forward ready to end the fight but the attacker had already recovered and was back on his feet.

The next thing she knew she had been kicked hard in the shin, her leg moved backwards and automatically her body moved forward to counteract the offset balance, a soft groan escaping Raven's lips as the pain shot through her leg.

Hunting Encounter

Rod was glad that his plan had worked so far, and quickly grabbed her by the arm and spun her around, so her back was to him. He wrapped his arms around her to keep her from moving or breaking free. Naturally she was going to try to do just that, so he quickly decided to try talking to her; she didn't have any weapons on her that he could see, so she probably didn't mean to kill him. She probably planned to rob him while he wasn't looking, though, given the way she'd been skulking around in the bushes.
"Who the hell are you?" he demanded "Why are you here?"

The attacker spun her around and subdued her, temporarily, before Raven had time to retaliate, her shin still stinging in pain. She of course struggled, straining against his grasp but he was stronger than she was. "This is a bit too frisky for the first date." she teased, her flirty manner revealing itself.

Then came his questions which only annoyed her more, he was the one who attacked her first and now he was interrogating her. She stopped struggling for a moment, her body became still as she relaxed taking a deep breath, holding it for a while and then releasing it in the form of a heavy sigh. She used that short moment of meditation to calm her mind and think of a solution to her problem which she soon found. Now came her turn to move and if all went well it would be the last turn in their little game of chess.

In only a moment, Raven executed a well planned series of attacks first she raised her leg and stomped on the attackers foot. As soon as the stomp landed, weakening his grip on her ever so slightly, she slammed her elbow into his exposed abs, from their close proximity she couldn't get enough momentum for the attack to do anything more than cause some slight pain, which weakened his grip on her even more. Finally she bent over slamming her behind into his crotch, one again not causing any pain, but it did allow her to break free of his grip with some effort.

As the man began to straighten up from her escape plan she reached her hands up and behind her, grabbing at the back of his neck as she jumped into the air and used her weight, along with the help of gravity to throw him over her as she landed, bending over to make it easier on herself.

As the man fell onto the ground in front of her, his back making a soft thud as he did, Raven's foot rose and pressed down against his chest, not too hard, just firm enough to keep him pinned to the ground. "I will ask the questions." she said, her breathing was heavy but her tone was smug, a triumphant smirk on her face.

"So, who are you and why are you trying to kill me?" she asked, her amber eyes watching him cautiously. They widened for a second as she finally took a good look at her attacker, he was young, perhaps a year or two younger than herself...and he was handsome. His brown hair and blue eyes suited his baby face quite well and atop all of this, the attacker was topless. She forced herself out of her thoughts and back to reality, her breathing still heavy as she awaited his answer.

He woman stomped on his foot all of a sudden, and his grip loosened slightly. She elbowed him in the ribs, then slammed her rear against his crotch and then, as if all that weren't enough, she bent down and pulled him forward, so he tumbled over her back and landed back first in the dirt.
"I will ask the questions" she said, planting her foot on his chest, breathing heavily but smirking triumphantly.
"So, who are you and why are you trying to kill me?" she asked, watching him curiously.

"Why am I trying to kill you?" he repeated, quietly "Why am I trying to kill you?" he said, louder this time.
"I'm trying to kill you because I'm in the middle of a forest, and you're skulking around in the bushes like a wild animal!"
He grabbed her leg and tugged hard on it, she lost her balance before tugging her leg back and steadying herself. By that time he'd gotten to his feet and was staring her in the face.
"Are you always so stupid, or is today a special occasion?" he stalked away from her "We're in the middle of a forest, and you're sneaking around behind me. What am I supposed to think? Usually you find wild boars trampling around in bushes, not flirty leather-clad little women ." His back hurt where it'd hit the ground when she'd flipped him over Thank the gods no one else saw that. He turned towards her.
"Why..." he broke off and straightened his back, grimacing "Why were you sneaking around in there anyway?"

Hunting Encounter

Raven was caught off guard when the boy tugged at her leg causing her to lose her balance so that he could get back on his feet, mostly because most people were smart enough to know when to stay down, obviously this wasn't the case with the boy.

"I'm trying to kill you because I'm in the middle of
a forest, and you're skulking around in the bushes
like a wild animal!
Are you always so stupid, or is today a special
occasion?"
We're in the
middle of a forest, and you're sneaking around
behind me. What am I supposed to think? Usually
you find wild boars trampling around in bushes,
not flirty leather-clad little women."

Raven tilted her head in complete disbelief mixed with anger, bordering on rage. She could not believe this person, he had attacked her without warning and now he was blaming her! "Excuse me!? I'd watch my tongue, considering I just beat you...oh and I was holding back." she said, eyes filled with anger. Little woman he had called her, LITTLE woman!? The las person who'd called her that had met roughly with her boot, okay that same person also moved on to becoming her boyfriend, but that was besides the point. Actually this situation was almost exactly the same, except last time she had only attacked AFTER being underestimated as a woman, which was better than what this boy had done. "First of all, I was just passing when YOU attacked me without warning"

Fists clenched in anger at his words, begging, pleading to shut him up, Raven had to close her eyes and take a deep breath in order to calm down. Her eyes opened as she managed to force her rage to dissipate into mild anger, "You know what, I'm not doing this...See ya kid." she said as she crossed her arms and began to walk away in the direction of the city.

She figured that the kid's words, however rude and infuriating, did seem to be sincere...he had thought she was stalking him and had made the mistake of attacking instead of warning first, that she would forgive. So since the kid wasn't trying to kill her she figured it safe to walk away, besides he'd have to gather his bow, dagger and wildly scattered arrows before chasing after her, if he so chose.
