I feel the same way about that which is why I went immediately upon creation to the employment office. I suspect ill be given an oppurtunity to apprentice under the Mage crafter as I have enough skill behind my character to warrant it, ontop of Mage Crafting being incredibly rare even amongst PC competent is unusually hard to come across.
Thought process behind free crafting is MC values of two or was it three cost no catalysts Or reagents. So I'm offering my services for relatively nothing, while gaining storylines and character interactions and having a solid oppurtunity to hone my skills while also running a few solo job threads on the side as an apprentice for cash which will be plenty and seasonal xp.
So I'm confident I stand to gain alot by giving my skills out so players who would not normally be able to even dream of affording the luxury of an MC Item will be able to have one.
As for Malediction everyone has secrets, it makes the game a little more interesting
The concept I have is as an Isur we have the ability to shape and mold materials like wood, iron etc what's preventing the maledictor to take a full skeleton shape it into a ball stretch it out into a sword then Maledict it for all it's worth then imparting Izentor into it to make it hard as steel
