A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

OOCI'm sorry my answer took so long time, but it's the same for all my threads, had the flu

“I’m born here. So I know many things about Ravok, but not everything. Well...we will go to The Spot then” Amolina said. “Or else you could get ill. ”

“You’re asking me who Rhysol is. He is the god that protects Ravok and it’s people. But I think you know it already, don’t you?” She paused. “If you wan’t to know how Rysol is, the best is to visit the temple of the Black Sun and seek guidance there. They can give you the proper information in the right way. I don’t have the education to do Rhysol justice. Ask in the temple.”

She could actually not be sure he wasn’t a Black Sun agent out to spy on people, or even Rhysol himself in disguise. Amolina was certainly not going to say anything more about Rhysol. She had done the safe thing and referred the seeker to the priests.

She pushed with the pole at the platforms and they travelled on at good speed. She was keen on getting Rheon inside the tavern and hopefully get a chance to give him a closer inspection in search of minor injuries. There might be something that needed to be treated sooner or later, even if it wasn’t urgent.

Location: The Spot

They arrived at The Spot and she showed her new acquaintance the way in and called for the barmaid Alice Lark. “He fell in the water. He needs to borrow some dry clothes while his own dries” she said. “Warm blankets, something hot to drink. A set of dry clothes to wear while he waits.”

And when she realized Alice was staring at her own outfit: “I’m rehearsing. That’s why I’m dressed like this today. After the success with The Dastard I feel I’m meant for greater actress roles. I will try to go to more demanding auditions in the future. I'm rehearsing for The Ravonsalawoman, by MP Ascontine.” She said this in a self-assured way.

After a few ticks of wide eyed hesitation Alice found a bundle of clothes under the bar counter and offered them to Rheon. “You can borrow these” Alice said to Rheon. “There’s a cabin you can change in.” If Rheon would accept this offer and would follow her, Alice would show him the door to a small storage cabin near the bar.

OOCFrom here I edited. I haven't changed anything in the text that involves Rheon, only added a few facts Amolina will maybe need for future threads. So the text below doesn't affect your PC, it's only for my own use.

Meanwhile Amolina had a look at the job board and saw that the usual assortment of vague missions were written on the slips of paper pinned to it.She read a few of them. Worried parents that wanted somebody to spy on their son. A worried grandparent who wanted sombody to make the granddaughter leave her unsuitable boyfriend. Somebody who wanted help with an abortion. Well, well, well ... typical jobs on the job board of The Spot.

Alice had followed her and while they waited for Rheon Amolina took the opportunity to ask Alice what had actually happened during the few chimes in the evening the 1st of Winter when the barmaid had found the mystical Xavier to play the stryfer role at the end of "The Dastard". Being blackmailed by him and expected to deliver intelligence troubled Amolina a great deal. And the orders she had recieved at the end of the Rising Dawn execution didn't make it less troublesome. Alice didn't know much, but told Amolina that the stryfer had come out after her, behind her. He had not been a bypasser on the walkway. It seemed like he had been in the audience.

Amolina didn't say anything more about it. Silently she returned to study the job board, while she waited. When Rheon came back she took the simple cloak she used with the ravonsala outfit and smile at him. They would perhaps meet again, but now she needed to be on her way. She gave Alice Lark a tip for helping them off the record, and was off.

Under the Bridges of Ravok (Rheon Blueheart)

Postby Rheon Blueheart on January 13th, 2014, 7:46 pm

Rheon decided it would be best to go to the temple of Rhysol to learn more about this strange god. Of course he knew of Rhysol, he couldn’t help but hear of Rhysol in this city. Every corner he turned it was Rhysol this, and Rhysol that. He was starting to see why as Molly stated he protected this city. The God of Evil protects this city? Rheon thought to himself. He wished he didn’t have to meet with the Black Sun members to find out about the god though as they always made him feel quite uneasy. When they arrived at the Spot Rheon was still deep in his thoughts of Rhysol. It would seem he would need to blend in this town as best as he could. He was taken out of his train of thought when Molly and Alice whom he just noticed starting to speak of acting.

“So that’s why she looked eccentric,” Rheon said to himself speaking of her outfit.

Rheon never went to play before but he was a big fan of entertainment. His old friend Captain Bullocks used to go on and on about the plays he went to before. It seemed like a good time to have fun and relax so before he went into the dressing room he politely jumped in the conversation briefly.

"Sorry I couldn’t help but overhear your conversation. I would really like to go to one of your plays. I have never been to one you see. So if whenever you are planning another performance I would like to be there if you wouldn’t mind.”

With that he nodded at Alice and left to go search for some clothes in the bin of clothes as his current ones were simply put annoying. He was used to being wet but the weight of a winters coat was a bit much. He searched and finally found something his size that looked descent.

“This will have to do for now. It’s not that bad”

He then gathered his things and walked back out. That felt much better. He later returned to find Molly in order to thank her and tell her he would now be leaving.

“Thanks for all the help Molly. I’m bout to head to the temple now. See you soon and goodluck in your acting career.”

Notes

Several things, here. Amolina... how do you know how to sail a Ravosala? Rheon, I didn't award anything for your little fight scene at the beginning, since you'd basically be weaponless as a slave... so no three cutlasses. And how can he speak with something in his mouth?

Short, little to give.... I practically gasped when Rheon asked about Rhysol, though. After all his time in Ravok, wouldn't he have known?
