This shining population center is considered the jewel of The Sylira Region. Home of the vast majority of Mizahar's population, Syliras is nestled in a quiet, sprawling valley on the shores of the Suvan Sea. [Lore]

Tourmal, Winter 37, 513 AV “Ah, I'm starting to wonder that meself.” he looked at her after taking another swig of mead. “Sadly work in the plains, is harder to come by. Just don' have the resources there tha' I need. Having to buy metals at a marked up price means you need money to make it. En tha' I don' have.” He looked at the woman as his face became more serious. “You know it's only gettin' worse, with me kinsmen an their raids.” The man had been ostracized since he returned from his homeland. He could not blame the Sylirans, he was a large imposing figure and he was Drykas. Their recent actions got them a lot of bad publicity. But that did not mean that he had to like being treated that way. “Ah maybe I will sometime. It would be a nice change to see yer face agin.” He said adding a smile. As his smile faded, he watched Hadyn as she scanned the tavern for Kevith. When she smiled at him he gave her one in return. “So d'ya know of any other cities where a smith can make a decent living?” The man hadn't really considered leaving until now. However knowing your options seemed like a good thing to him. “Ya ever hear anything about Sultros or Wind Reach?” He thought about Eanos and his arm, and was sure that there could be some decent work to be done there. “Heh, yeh prolly think tha' yer scarin me off now don' ya?” The man chuckled. “Just keepin me options open thas all. Yeh never know if the Drykas will start their raids agin. An if tha' happens, I'll be runnin from here like a strider with it's tail on fire.” The man's face soured at the idea. He tried to wash the horrible feeling he had for saying it away by downing the last half of his mug. |

Tourmal, Winter 37, 513 AV Hadyn told him she hadn't much knowledge about his question. “Yea I suppose you are right” The man paused looking at the table. “Eanos would be a good source. Just hoping for something.” He looked at the woman across from him rethinking leaving. If he somehow never came across a woman like this at the stallion, then maybe there is still quite a bit of tail to be chased. For Tourmal enough tail could help him overlook the other downsides to Syliras. The man nodded at her next statement. Then the ladysmith hailed another drink from a barmaid. “Tis not unfortunate at all.” He said smiling at the woman. “Looking at you, is a treasure to my eyes.” Tourmal looked around for Kevith again as she mentioned him. “Hmm... Ts'not like him to be late, maybe the old maid has got him tangled up at the moment.” He laughed, not taking into account his companies gender. “Well, I wasn't planning on leaving anyways, but now that you said the magic word, yeh couldn't pay me to go.” The man said leaning over with his weight on his elbows. He then followed that up with a wink. “So, tell me a bit about yerself. Say, waddya fer fun?” Tourmal asked, with his full attention on Hadyn. |
