Anna’s eyes shot wide as Brimholt seemingly refuted her claim of innocence, half expecting a blade through the back of her neck though it never came. Instead the other knight intervened on her behalf, seeming to believe her explanation of innocent. The sorceress’ eyes turned upon the pair of knights, the moment she had been waiting for had arrived seemingly. Brimholt was being restrained by Lance, giving her a clear target for both of them and then since Riyanna and Isabella were otherwise occupied she would be able to turn around in neutralize them. Chaos created from the spoken word was well enough in her favor it seemed, enough so she could close the curtain upon these fools.
The tall sorceress weaved the strands of her Djed focusing upon the Res gathered beneath the pair of Knights bickering before her. Her grey eyes narrowed, a chaotic flicker to be found behind them as she stomped upon the ground at her feet. This signaled a combination of transmutation and attraction to occur, shaping the earth into long spikes. The ground beneath both of the Knights seemingly erupted and cracked and from it were two earthen spears designed to impale the occupied knights where they stood. The sorceress would then speak her own word, a cruel smile on her lips.
“A pity Riyanna was absolutely right about me, more so than she could even imagine.” The sorceress would say assuming she managed to impale both knights on spears of earth.
The tall woman would then whirl around, fully allowing herself to cut loose and removing all restrains upon her magic. Even as she moved the remaining Res in gaseous form forward away from her body, the substance seemed to begin to exude from her body at positively frightening and inhuman speeds. It radiated upwards and outwards, swirling about her form and bleeding in liquid for from her hands and feet. The very tapestry of her Djed was being called upon just in case the initial attack failed to neutralize the Morphers.
The two clouds of gaseous res that had already been gathered would spark and crackle malevolently, visions of untold destruction playing out before her eyes as the combination of casting and extensive Res draw brought on the casting euphoria. Gods, it felt glorious to truly allow herself to draw the vital substance, amazing really in most respects in ways other wizards could not possible understand. The purple sparks in the clouds were all the warning that the pair of Morphers would receive before two bolts of purple lightning screeched towards them, their speed almost too fast for the eye to follow.
The tall dark haired woman did not exactly regret this course of action, betraying those she had brought here in order to eliminate two major threats at once. Riyanna was a thorn in her side that she had wanted to remove for far too long and these knights were providing her the perfect chance to kill her. No witnesses, as far as anyone might be concerned they simply killed each other in a fight. The Knights would not be able to threaten her adoptive daughter either, so really it was a win-win scenario.
This was of course all assuming that her initial spears had indeed eliminated the two knights and that the lightning bolts would hit their marks soon after. If not, well, hopefully the Res she had drawn would provide her with plenty of options. She could not afford to let anyone here be left alive to tell the tale of her treachery, her crimes were only crimes if she got caught. It might even be best to Void the evidence just to be on the safe side, but she would worry over that once everyone was dead.
