Black had realized that she had enraged the beast some more and she couldn’t help it really. Her lack of sleep had her acting on irrational impulses that she normally wouldn’t be doing and the throbbing pain of her arm, told her that she wasn’t in the best of positions. However, despite all of this, the burn upon her arm kept reminding her of her moment of weakness that had left her in a position to be in this kind of pain and she wanted to stand up to this man as best as she could. Upon hearing his words after a moment of silence, she retaliated by perking a brow upwards, almost as if she dared to question him and his reasoning once again. He would then push her back against the wall using her hand before he pinned that against the wall as well, situated just above her head. A ghost of a memory flickered before her very eyes, as she remembered a similar situation where she was pinned against a wall, however there had been two at the time and her right hand struggled at the hold that this present threat had. The word, flight passed through her mind a dozen times as her nostrils flared. She should have made a dash passed the man; she might have had a chance if she had.
Suddenly his next words reached her ears and her nostrils flared again as a rush of air also parted her lips. Her very life? He was going to threaten her life? Her brown hues glared at him, flickering over his facial features as she began to wonder if he really would do it, whether he really would threaten her life just to prove a point. What was he going to do? Stab her? However, just as soon as she asked that question, something seemed to be pouring out of the man’s skin, something that looked like smoke of some kind, but a transparent sort of royal blue. She lifted her chin once again as she turned her head to the side a scowl falling over her facial features. Whatever it was, it reminded her of something similar and she wasn’t sure as to whether it was shock or whether it was because there was so many thoughts passing through her mind at a rapid pace, that she just couldn’t quite think of what it reminded her of. Focus Black, focus! She screamed at herself as her gaze rapidly followed the smoke like thing that seemed to have come from the stranger. What does it remind me of? She silently asked herself.
She felt the space between them grow colder and it was that grin of his that suddenly sparked her memory. She remembered the same thing kind of thing in two other separate events, just different colours. One where she had gone on a picnic with Jadlin and met this guy called Aoren and… Her arm seemed to stab her with pain at that precise point in time just as she remember the reimancer that had given her the burn that now graced her left fore-arm. This type of smoke looking thing, had some kind of elemental power to it and she slightly cringed against the very wall she was pressed against. She wanted to say go ahead, do it, but Jadlin flashed through her mind once again. Would he even miss her if she suddenly disappeared? An image of a rose pressed into a hand entered her mind and she shook it off, if she died, would she be reunited with her parents again? To go off and enjoy lazy days out in the wilds with them once again? She then scowled at him once again and decided to call his bluff, but if she died, she died. She forced a soft chuckle then, before a forced smirk rose to her lips as she spat, ”Go ahead, do it, but I don’t think that you even have the stones to do it.”
