Aider smiled as he watched the boy in front of him churn over the ideas in his head. The anger and other emotions mixed into his face made the Nykian wonder if he was pushing him to far. The sudden realization that he might break the young mans mind. He squeezed his hand over the coin. Feeling its rounded shape. The pressure causing indents in his skin as he watched. The time ticked by as Lucians eyes were glued to his hand. Like Aider would pull it away and take everything from him. He was obiviously unaware of the chaos that may be caused by their game. The wandering eyes of the tavern on the hand of the man with the gold.
Focusing back onto Lucian, Aider smiled. He finally had an answer from his new friend. Aider opened his fingers just enough for the light to hit the coin. Causing it to shine a bit. "Hopefully luck is on your side" he said. His hand opened all the way. Relieving the coin resting marked side up. "Well then. Aren't you the lucky one" he said. His smile still friendly. He placed the coin on the table and slid it towards Lucian. Leaning in with the coin, he whispered just so Lucian could hear, "Take it and run. Do not let these men in here grab you. You may not make it out alive." He sat back in his chair and waited. Sure enough a few of the patrons stood up and walked over to their table.
"If you are giving hand outs mate. I'll take the rest of your coin." one of the men said. He was tallish, with a round belly and a bald head. Aider looked up at the man and said "Sorry all out. Maybe you should try your luck somewhere else." The mans face twisted in anger as he slammed his fist down on the table. Leaning in to get close to Aiders face. "I said give me your coin" he spat. Covering Aiders face in his saliva. Aider wiped his face with his hand that held the coin. Flicking it towards the ground he sighed. "Drunken fools" he said grabbing the handle of the ale he was drinking. He swung it, smashing it against the bald mans head. He moved quickly to put both hands behind the mans head and throw it down onto the table.
The other men moved towards Aider now. He stood up and balled his hands into fist. The knuckledusters spikes shining in the dim light. "I'd leave now if I were you. If you do not feel like fighting" he said to Lucian as the men moved forward. Aider kicked the chair down, to slow them a bit as he fixed his stance. Ready for the brawl that would ensue.
