Day 19, Autumn, 514 AV
- The Foundation
- The Foundation
Redd was seated upon one of the chairs out the back of The Foundation, her hazel hues staring up at the night sky and following the moon’s course as it crossed it. A growl rose to her lips as she stood up from the bench and began to pace the courtyard. She had been very sure of herself, she had been very sure about her revenge. Ever since her right eye had been ripped out of her head, she had felt anger and pain; she had allowed it to well within her own mind while she had rested. Karn had only provided her with some information and she had followed this information when she had felt better in order to confirm it. The young wolf had followed Venser to The Malt House and had even followed him down the alleyway, where he had confused her something shocking. She had been left with a dilemma that she didn’t know what to do with. She wanted to kill Venser, ever since the alleyway, she had wanted to kill him even more. While he hadn’t taken her eye, he had taken something else from her. He had physically demanded her submission and taken her innocence from her.
She turned to view the door that would take her back into The Foundation and she knew what she would have to do. She had to kill him, she had to kill him otherwise she wasn’t sure how long she could hold out against him. It was only a matter of time before he demanded the submission of her mind as well. Even though he had demanded physical satisfaction from her, she too had enjoyed it, probably more than she wanted to. However, that didn’t change the facts, he had stolen from her, not once but twice and he had to die. She stalked forwards and pushed open the door that lead into the main room of The Foundation Today, the young wolf would kill him, but she paused in this thought for a brief moment as she tried to puzzle out how she would kill him. However, her mind had other plans as it questioned this course of action. Did she really want to kill him? If she killed him, then there would be no one that challenged her, that brought about the type of pleasure that she got from the pain that was inflicted upon her body. She stopped for a moment as she hesitated outside the door that would take her into the room that the man occupied.
She lifted her right hand to gently press to the bandages that covered her right eye socket and she drew in a slow breath. The man beyond the door had made her feel things that she never thought truly existed. If she killed him, she would never be able to instigate, to annoy him and challenge him to find out more about herself. For not only did he make her feel things, but he made her realized things about herself that she didn’t know. A growl fell upon her lips as she paced away from the door, yanking a hand through her brindled red locks. No, he had to die, he had to die because he took her right eye, he ripped it out of her skull and a wolf never forgot such things. They never forgot and they always made sure that revenge was sought. Revenge that her mind was wavering on, especially considering that even though when they had been in the alley and he had done something to her, something she didn’t really understand, she had woken up back at The Foundation. She shook her head as she growled at herself, No, she had to have her revenge.
