While the world outside still held a touch of Winter, the interior of the Fool's Errand was as warm as a mid-Summer's night. A fire roared within the large hearth, throwing shadows about, black specters whorlling and swaying as if dancing to the tune of the lute being played. The air was heavy, rich with the heady scent of sweat and ale and buzzing from the din of chatter, the noise reverberating off the walls. Filled to the brim with weary patrons looking to kick up their feet after a huge couple of days out in the fields for the Spring planting, the whole building seemed to thrum, taking on a life of its own.

Tanna revelled in it.

She had been sore before entering the establishment, tired and stiff from the honest, labourious work she had been involved in since arriving a few days prior but this was nothing a bit of drink and good company couldn't fix. By the time the twenty-second bell had rang, she was back to her high-spirited and sunny self, voice rising to be heard over the noise of the packed tavern, “
I tell true! I never see anything like it.

There was a rumble of laughter that rolled across the group she sat with, dotted with faces she knew from her time aiding in the fields, and this only served to keep her going with her story.

Straightening suddenly, she arched her back, the hand holding her mug of ale twisting out as she gestured with her free hand to aid her and her drunken tongue, “
The beast reared, bellowed and snorted fire -” her left hand twisted, cupping air before her nose before pushing out, fingers outstretched and wriggling in a manner meant to represent the fire she spoke of as she bent back and to the right.

She straightened, slurped gracelessly from her mug and then continued, arms flailed out in a shrug-like manner as her eyes widened, creasing her brow, “
I never see anyone more terrified in my life than this Arro. His eyes wide with fear at this big thing above 'im.” She giggled, unable to help herself, and dragged the back of her hand across her lips, “And then there be this one”, she gestured towards one of the men, a stocky fellow with pink cheeks peaking out above a bushy brown beard, “laughing - laughing, ” she added, since she felt the emphasis was needed, “as the stallion bolted off.” She paused and sent her left hand towards her cocked right forearm, clipping it with the flat of her palm before sending her left hand flying past. The action caused the bit of ale left in her mug to slosh and she failed to stifle another giggle, “Talk about a frie--

She squeaked as an arm found her waist and swung her 'round, the voice belonging to the arm bellowing forth, “
Yes, yes, we all know Ranec is a right bastard but what about you, mm?

Another drunken giggle bubble up from her lips as she completely forgot about her story and focused fully on the arm that held her snug and tight. Not one to mind touching or even what this man likely had in mind, it simply wasn't what she had in mind for the evening so she pressed her free hand against the arm as she wriggled, wresting his arm away enough for her to spin playfully around to face him. Settling her hand against the broad chest, she pushed against him while arching herself back and away before swinging her mug back into view, “
I..” She paused, tilting her chin up as she cocked her head, keeping a playful look about her, “Am thirsty.

Flashing a grin, she twisted and strained against the arm until she freed herself of his embrace and twirled for effect, skirt swinging before stopping to face the group while also bending forward and somewhat to the left in a silly bow. Righting herself, she added, “
And I do not like being thirsty.

She spun around and headed towards the bar, ready to remedy this. Despite having no trouble being a bit of a minx from time to time, Tanna lacked the mentality that would see her putting her womanly wiles to use in a way to manipulate these men into supplying her with what she wanted and so she had no issue getting herself another ale. She swayed on her way to the bar and leaned heavily against it once there, yet did not seem to mind waiting until the barkeep was able to tend to her. It gave her a chance to look around, to see what had changed since the last time she had had such a chance. Despite her bleary vision, she still managed to spot a lone figure and instantly decided she must remedy this.

Determined, she settled promptly into the chair next to the dark haired figure, the two mugs she carried in her left clattering against the table top before the gallon of ale from her right dropped to meet them, causing a bit of frothy ale to spill over the sides. Without a moment's hesitation, she explained her presence, “
I see you lack company..” She paused only to pour him a mug, pushing it before him before filling her own, “This is no good.” She shook her head before announcing herself, “I am Tanna. And you?” She beamed brightly as she swayed in her chair, settling in sideways to face him, back to the wall as she plucked up her mug, hefting it towards him.
