Petching razor blade didn't want to work with him this morning it seems, Ricky had decided to pay the bathhouse here a visit so that he may clean up. He needed to if he wanted to be able to look decent while he worked, that is if he would be given the job when he met with the proprietor of the establishment. He'd sent word by courier to the man yesterday afternoon and it seemed he had an appointment to keep, so it'd be a good idea to look impressionable when he first met with the man who owned the place. Needless to say it wasn't going as easy as he'd hoped as he'd fallen quite out of practice with the act of shaving, the angle in which he held the blade didn't seem close enough to really cut the hairs on his cheek. Yet he didn't want to risk a nick across the face for several reasons, mostly because it'd give away the fact he was trying to impress.

"Here, allow me." The Ephyrian lady named Asra insisted as she reprimanded the razor from him, a couple of her other hands already on his head to position it where she needed. "You looked like you could use the extra hand." She reasoned softly as the razor slowly started to graze down his cheek, he more or less remained indifferent about it. He hadn't asked but then again he wasn't against another taking the reigns, seeing as how he hadn't a mirror to exactly help him out. Her face came into view when he finally looked from the floor up to her, silky dark locks of hair seemed to embrace a soft spoken face with glorious brown eyes. Had he not put shaving cream on earlier then she'd likely had seen the coloration of red blush into his cheeks, seeing as how the last thing he would want is to be caught almost naked in the public bath house with a woman chopping his face. "Thanks." He finally murmured as his deep blue eyes faltered once more, not only did he lose his old life but what little game he must've had as well.

Were he still the same single man who didn't find love with Telion, he'd probably been a lot better at this whole chatting thing but now? Gods he felt utterly useless and out of touch, all because he spent his time hiding out from everything he knew for a couple of seasons. She turned his face a couple of times with a few more smooth strokes of the razor until finally only his jawline and mouth area remained, both in finer kept form now that she added the finishing touches. "Here you go." She returned the razor to him with a pat on the shoulder, as well as a brush through his hair with another one of her hands. "Take a load off and clean up dear, you look like you've been through shyke." She mused as she went on to attend to her other patrons gathered here. Ricky remained craned forward with knees on his elbows as his eyes remained to the floor, not even able to smile because of the gravity he felt within those simple words.

"Ye 'ave no idea..." He muttered as he finally rose from the bench, the Lacun mark a reminder of what he'd endured back home. He hated these memories and wished he could forget them, such was a reason why he sought to start over elsewhere rather than just hide away for the rest of his miserable life. How did someone like him do that though? Starting over was something he'd hope to be easier, yet even now he still felt haunted by his past. It did him no good to dwell on it yet, he still had an appointment to keep too. Best wash up and try to relax so he'd look decent and healthy for the job, its not every day one gets to try and be a bartender after all. After he finally unwrapped the towel and left it on the bench, he grabbed the bar of soap he brought with him and proceeded to drop within the pool. The feeling of warmth and bubbles tickled the surface of his skin, as the water already began to ease some of the tension in his nerves. How long had he been without a decent bath? Too long apparently because this already felt nice.

Okay it felt more than that, it was great to finally be somewhere to clean up. Surely that had to be a good reason to brighten up some? Why not. With a quick intake of air he dunked his head under the water, the sounds of others talking and washing up dulled by the depth of water that covered his ears. He wanted to just sit there and remain underneath the surface for a while, to drown out the world above while he escaped it for a while. However long his lungs would allow he would surely soak for a chime or two, until finally his head would surface once more with a natural need for fresh air.
