Completed Challenges of the Hunt

[Job Thread] The cool weather makes for great hunting. This part of Cyphrus has very good grounds for elk and pheasant. However, both species are exceptionally clever and good at fooling hunting companions.

(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role playing forums. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)

The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

Challenges of the Hunt

It was in the early morning hours that Caesi awoke from her sleep. The sun had yet to rise just yet, though it was beginning to peak from it's slumber. Nu was still asleep at the foot of her bed roll, as she rose up, stretching her muscles. The chilly like weather outside made her want to snuggle back in bed and sleep a few more hours. However, there was work to be done and she did not have the time to rest any longer. Caesi picked up the things she needed for the hunt that day. Rope, her dagger, the Isur Dagger she found in the Spring Season, along with a few other odd and ends went in her backpack. Picking up her quiver she strapped it to her back, then grabbed her Shortbow.

Giving a low whistle woke her hunting companion from his light slumber, she gave a low but sharper whistle as she headed out of her tent. Nu followed her as she went to where her Strider was kept. Placing the colorful pad on the back of the horse, Caesi grabbed up the Yvas. She placed the Yvas on her Strider, securing the grip over her withers, holding the Yvas in place. Caesi secured a water skin from one of the tethers on her Yvas. Grabbing the hand grip, she swung herself up onto her Strider. Wiggling slightly she made herself comfortable in the Yvas giving a soft yawn, as the sun began to creep out further from her slumber. Gripping the Yvas with one hand, she held her Shortbow in the other and clicked her tongue to get Pyxis in a slow walk.

Once they were cleared of the Starguide Pavilion, Caesi tightened her knees around her horse, tapping it's sides with her heels to put her in a full on gallop. Rider and horse soared through the Sea of Grass, the speed made images blur slightly as they passed them. Nu followed behind, not able to keep up with the Strider's speed. Caesi slowed her down so they were in view of her hunting companion so he would not become lost. She let go of the handle for a brief moment, as she held on with her legs to keep herself a top of her Strider. Adjusting her quiver, she returned her hand and slowed the mare with the wild soul down to a slow trot, as she peered around them, accessing their location.

With a smile she saw in the distance a tree line, hoping that the Uvic Lake was up ahead as she had planned. A yelp made her swing her head to the side, to see Nu with his tongue lolling out as he panted slightly, finally catching up to Caesi and Pyxis. She gave a chuckle, tapping her heels gently against the sides of her Strider, putting her in a soft trot so the dog could keep up.

Once she was closer to the trees, she hoped off of her Strider, losing the Yvas a little more so it would be even easier to dispose of if the mare needed to do so. 'Stay here' Caesi signed to her Strider, stroking her neck, 'Hunting' she explained in another gesture. The horse seemed to understand, as she bent her head down and began to graze on the supple grass. Caesi snapped her fingers at Nu, “Hunt Nu.” She spoke quietly and the dog did not bark he just went into the trees to do his own hunting. Whether he would get anything was unknown to Caesi as she had her heart set on a animal in particular that she knew would be a challenge. During the Summer when they moved closer to Sylira, Elk were easier to find. With the weather being as it was, it was perfect hunting conditions for Elk and Pheasant. Perhaps Nu would be able to capture a Pheasant, even though those birds tended to tease and trick the hunting dogs.

Caesi tossed her thoughts aside, as she grabbed an arrow from her quiver. It was not an hunting arrow she pulled forth, but a regular arrow. She gripped her composite shortbow in her other hand, as she crouched down low heading towards the small gathering of trees. Peering around her she saw different breeds of bird in the trees, she could hear the chattering of squirrels and the buzzing of insects as she traveled deeper into the shaded wooded area. Her feet landed upon the ground in soft movements, rolling her feet slightly to be more stealthy and to make as little noise as possible. Caesi tightened her grip on her bow as she searched the area for any sign of Elk.

Challenges of the Hunt

She searched through the small area of trees for half a bell before she finally spotted something. Walking over to the smaller tree, Caesi observed it with her keen teal eyes. The tree appeared to have been beaten by a set of antlers. Bark was no longer on large areas of the small tree. Leaning in closer Caesi saw hair stuck where the area was rubbed, the color was turning from white to yellow and a small amount of sap was present in the area. The rub was not exactly fresh but Elk had been by this area or could be still in the area of the Lake was nearby.

Heaving a sigh, Caesi leaned against the large tree that was beside the rubbed tree. Peering around she could not see anything else useful to track the Elk besides the rub. Still, they were intelligent creatures. For all she knew, one could be watching her right now and she never would know it. Pushing off of the tree, Caesi stuck to the shadows keeping herself out of the light as much as possible. She crouched down, rolling her feet, becoming more stealth like once more.

She made it to the other side of the small forest. On the other side was Uvic Lake and best of all there was a small herd of Elk grazing nearby the edge of the Lake. Some were inside of the shallows of the Lake, other's getting a drink. It was not a large herd, there were about six Elk in total. Three of which were still cows. The leader of the pack, the Bull, was a large fellow. The two cows were both about the same, both being medium in size. Caesi exhaled slowly, as to not make a sound. If she could see them, then they could see her if she made any noise or moved too quickly.

Biting her lower lip, the huntress brought up her arrow slowly. Caesi kept her muscles loose, releasing the tension that had form in them. She guided the shaft of the arrow on her bow to the notch, nocking it. Then she brought the end of the arrow against the string, letting the tip rest on her fingers. Then the huntress brought her index finger above the shaft, while the middle and ring finger stayed below the end of the arrow. Adjusting her grip slightly, she extended her bow arm forward keeping it straight. Her other arm she bent at the elbow, so the string would not snap back and hit her arm.

Raising her bow arm up, Caesi moved it just above where she was aiming. The huntress did not aim for the big Bull, knowing that she did not have the resources to take down the monster. Instead she aimed at one of the medium sized cows. She wanted to place the arrow in the lungs or heart, so the Elk would not suffer too much, making for an instant or at least easier kill. Closing her right eye she aimed with her left, gliding her gaze up from the front leg to about the chest area, then aimed a little above that area, not much though. Inhaling she raised the bow, rotating her chest and shoulders so they would be parallel to the arrow.

Drawing back on the bowstring, she brought it all the way back in a straight line, until it came to her chin. Her index finger was near the corner of her mouth, as she moved the shoulder of her drawing arm down ever so slightly. Putting most of the weight on her back, that way the rest of her muscles could stay relaxed. With the arrow drawn back and the weight placed at her back, Caesi looked down the shaft at the female Elk. Keeping her right eye closed she kept her aim with the left and gave another deep inhale. On the exhale she let the bowstring leave her fingers, releasing the arrow towards the Elk. The arrow soared through the air, while it was on the release, Caesi quickly grabbed for another arrow. She fumbled and dropped it and hurriedly picked it up. By the time she had it in her hand she heard the squealing of the Elk she had just hit with her arrow. Then came the barking of the Bull as he gave off a warning to the herd, and they were off diving into the water and swimming away. Well except her Elk who was stumbling and struggling with getting to her herd. It seems that Caesi was not able to penetrate both lungs, only one, so the Elk was indeed suffering.

Caesi stalked towards the Elk, bringing up the arrow to her bow. When she was closer she nocked another arrow, bringing the end against the string, resting the tip on her fingers. She brought her index finger resting it on the shaft with her middle and ring finger below, holing the arrow secure. Straightening her bow arm, while bending the other arm she took aim. With her right eye close she looked down the shaft of the arrow with her left eye, taking aim right above where she did earlier, hoping to penetrate the heart this time. Inhaling deeply, she drew the bowstring all the way back to her chin, exhaling she let the bowstring go letting the arrow fly. It struck it's target once more, close to where it had before.

It did not bring down the Elk, though it did make it even slower. She could hear it's squeals becoming softer, the breathing more wheezing in nature, as she struggled to get to the lake her now departed herd took to get away from the huntress. Caesi let out a frustrated sound, grabbing a third arrow from her quiver. Nocking the arrow she took aim once more, inhaling on the draw back then exhaling on the release. This arrow shot forward with more force since Caesi brought the bowstring further back almost to her ear. The arrow dug deep into the Elk, making her fall to the ground. The stubborn cow kicked and mewed, as it struggled to survive. Caesi admired the Elk's strength, although it was frustrating and sad to see how it wanted to cling to it's life.

However, her Pavilion needed the meat and she was not going to let softness like that keep her from helping her people. She respected animals, she respected Caiyha, but she would not let her Pavilion go hungry. Taking her Isur Dagger from her hip she stalked forward, nearing the downed Elk who was barely hanging on to life. All the strength seemed to have drained from the cow, as she just laid there breathing in and out in hard, difficult labors. Caesi closed her eyes, sending an apology to Caiyha for taking down such a strong animal and an expression of gratitude for blessing her Pavilion with the meat that the Elk was sure to provide. Bringing the dagger down she easily and unsympathetically sliced the Elk's throat open. Once the blood started to spill onto the ground she watched as the life dwindled from the female Elk's eyes. The blood pooled at her feet and she closed her eyes once more, paying homage to Semele, her favorite Goddess since she was blessed enough to have Earth as her element in Reimancy.

Caesi heaved a sigh, shaking out her arms. Hunting an Elk was taxing, pulling back bowstrings was building her muscle tone in that one arm. She made a note to do some work outs in the coming days so she did not have one freakishly muscled arm, and one rather plain one. Caesi looked around her, Nu was not in sight, he was still hunting. Then she looked down at the Elk, inspecting the fine pelt it had on it. That would make some good leather.. Caesi thought to herself, as she stroked the fur, Or a nice blanket for the coming Fall and Winter. With those ideas in mind, though not sure which she wanted to use the pelt for exactly, she gave out a loud whistle hoping Pyxis was nearby to hear her. After a chime the horse was at her side with all her things. She gave the Strider a grateful pat, removing the Yvas and leading her to the lake so she could submerge herself and take her fill on water.

Caesi went over to the female Elk, she pushed at it and it did not budge in the slightest. Elk and Deer were sometimes seen as being similar. Looking down at this Elk now she knew that there was vast differences in the two. The coat of the Elk was more shaggy than that of a deer, also the Elk weighed a lot more than a deer so she was not sure how exactly she was going to get it moved. The only option would be to skin it right here to relieve some of the weight, she would then have to dress it as well. Heaving a long sigh, Caesi went to her Yvas. Switching daggers she chose her regular over the Isur Dagger, as she did not want to damage the beautiful dagger with the messy work she was about to do. Caesi also grabbed the rope from her backpack, she may possibly need it at some point.

Heading back to the Elk, she got down on her knees, observing the cow and seeing where she needed to begin. Caesi wanted to plan it all out first, instead of just going into it. It seemed logical to her to first get an idea of what you needed to do. Caesi looked over at the lake, it was not that far away, but it was still going to be a challenge to get the four-hundred pound Elk there to clean it. Caesi sat back on her rear, glancing over the large Elk. Well I guess I should get my arrows out first.. She thought to herself, grabbing the three arrows from the Elk. They were all destroyed and no longer usable, so she tossed them to the side. Caesi lifted the Elks head, debating on skinning at the underneath first or the spine area first.

The young huntress walked around her kill, observing the size of the Elk and what would be the best way to go about skinning her. She wanted to do it in such a way that the pelt would be saved, so she could use it later. If she skinned it how she normally would a deer, the pelt may be damaged or become dirty. She needed to get some weight off of the Elk however so she could string it up and let it bleed out for awhile. The whole thing was challenging, she did not think about what she would do after she killed an Elk. Perhaps if I skinned it to make it look like the pelt was a cape the Elk was wearing.. Caesi thought to herself as she walked around the Elk. If she were to skin it so the pelt was like a cape it would save the pelt, but then she would need to protect the meat as well from getting overly dirty. The tarp in my kit! Caesi thought to herself excitedly.

The plan was thought out now. She would skin the Elk in a cape like fashion, using the tarp to wrap most of it up in. She would remove most of the legs and the head, breaking it down so it would fit into the tarp. Then she would use the rope to tie it up in the tarp and take it back to her Pavilion to finish the rest of her work on the Elk. Hunting was not only about shooting an killing the animal, it was about what you did after the animal was killed too. Usually the latter being the most difficult at times, though the former also was a challenge in itself as well. Giving a soft smile, she grabbed her older dagger and hunting knife, setting it beside the Elk. Removing the medium sized pouch from her belt loop, she laid that on the ground as well. Digging into the pouch, she pulled at the folded tarp. Unfolding it and shaking it out it became a camouflaged tarp that was 10 feet. It was not very big but since she was going to butcher the Elk somewhat here, the pieces should fit.

Placing the tarp on the ground, she went back to her backpack retrieving the rope bringing it and sitting it beside the tarp. Looking around she made sure she had everything that she needed to get to work on the Elk. She gave a mental pat on the back for using her hunter's logic and planning the task out before attempting to do it. Now she was ready to skin the Elk and get it ready to take back to her pavilion.

Challenges of the Hunt

Caesi glanced around her, making sure she was indeed alone. She was not able to bleed out the Elk properly and was about to get messy. She had recently purchased new clothes for the Summer Season and did not want them to get damaged or stained. With that in mind she went over to her Yvas, hiding behind a tree just in case someone came up, even though the possibility was slim to none. Reaching at the hem of her purple dress she pulled it up and over her head, then she removed her riding boots, lastly she removed her leggings. Caesi folded the clothes neatly, placing them on top of the Yvas and sitting the boots beside it. Caesi flushed slightly at the realization that she was half naked, only in her undergarments. It was not a common thing for her, as she was conservative when it came to clothing. However, now was the time to get to work, she could not waste any more time on the matter.

Going back to the small female Elk, Caesi went down to her knees at it's exposed belly. Pushing slightly she rolled the Elk on to it's back. Taking up her hunting knife she went to the animal's front first. At the front quarters Caesi brought her blade down, inserting the tip of it, and making a small incision there. Going to the right front leg she inserted the knife and began to cut from the back of the leg, up towards the Elk's torso. Then she went to the Elk's other front leg and did the same thing. Once the cuts were made she pulled at the hide of the Elk. Pulling up towards the skull of the Elk, like she did when pulling her dress up and off her head. Caesi pulled at the hide while she made cuts around each leg, leading up to the chest of the Elk. Once the hide was loose in the front, Caesi went to the back. She had no need of the legs of the Elk, she needed to remove them.

She made small incisions with her blade at the back of the legs, pulling the hide as she did so. When the skin of the Elk was removed from the back legs, so she could pull it up and towards the skull when she came to the back to skin, she went to the Yvas bags. Grabbing her small handaxe from the bag she went back to the Elk. She aimed carefully at one of the back legs, bringing the axe up and down. She missed the leg and hit the ground. Letting out a frustrated growl, she brought the handaxe back up. Practicing the swinging motion with out actually putting any force behind it, she adjusted her grip and aim, then swung up and brought it down on the hind leg. She heard bone crack at contact, but she needed to keep going to completely remove the leg. Swinging the axe up and down a few more times the first hind leg was now severed from the Elk. Caesi picked the leg up and tossed it a small distance from her person.

Picking the handaxe back up, she went to work on the other hind leg. She had to keep trying as she continually missed the leg. However, the leg was finally severed from the Elk after a few chimes and she went to work on the front legs. When fifteen chimes passed by, the legs of the Elk was finally removed and off the animal. This would make transporting the Elk back to camp easier as well as helping her skin the animal easier. Caesi stood up and stretched her arms up, stretching her tense muscles out from using the handaxe. Shaking out her arms from the work, as it was a bit strenuous to be slinging an axe for such a long period of time. Gathering up the Elk legs she leaned them up against a tree. Nu would like one of these.. Caesi thought, looking around her. Nu had been gone a little while now, perhaps one of those clever pheasants was taunting the poor dog. Either way, Caesi hoped that her companion would return soon, she was beginning to worry.

Heaving a sigh, Caesi went back down to her knees and picked up her knife. She had to get back to work and stop thinking on things, she did not want the meat to ruin before she was able to get it back to camp. She would start the preserving process here and finish it when she was able to return to her Pavilion. This would help keep the meat fresh while she transported it.

Caesi looked at the legless animal. The poor Elk looked a little strange with out it's legs. She cleared her throat of the laugh that bubbled up. It was not funny to laugh at your food, it was best to stay grateful. Clearing her throat further she pushed the Elk back to it's side and went to the back of the animal. Inserting the sharp tip of her hunting knife, she worked it between the Elk's strong shoulder blades. Making quick sawing like movements she brought it all the way up to it's neck. Using her other hand she gathered the hide and began to pull as she continued cutting with her other hand. While she cut up to where the head was, she pulled the hide, loosening it from the Elk. Moving her knife she continued to cut around the torso and behind the shoulders, working the hide off the Elk's shoulders at the same time. The fur was starting to slip off of the Elk with ease, especially with out legs in the way.

She took her blade and began to scrape away any fat tissue that was underneath the Elk's hide, working carefully and slowly so she did not waste any of the meat. She continued to do this until she came to the Elk's skull. Extending the incision she made between the shoulder blades, she brought it up to the Elk's skull, pulling the hide with one hand as she did so. Using her hunting knife she used the flat of her blade to cut at the fur, getting close to the bone, and tugging the hide away from the Elk's skull.

Next came the face, which made Caesi cringe slightly. Sure, it was all a part of the job and when you went hunting it was expected. However, it was still something that unsettled her more than she would like to have admitted. Sighing, she held the eyelid down with her index finger, folding the hide so the furry side was in on itself she exposed where it was attached to the skull of the Elk with fat tissue. Caesi worked her hunting knife into the crevices cutting away the hide with careful and gentle movements. Keeping a finger on the eyelids so she did not bring them with her as she tugged the hide loose, working her knife down the front of the face.

Once this part was done, she inserted her fingers into the Elks mouth and brought her hunting knife up and made incisions at the gum of the beast. Working the knife around the gum, cutting through until she hit the bone of the Elk. Cutting under the jaw and down and around the face, Caesi pulled the hide free from the skull. Moving to the back of the Elk she made a few incisions, pulling the hide up off the meat and cutting the fat tissue. With a few more tugs on the furry hide, the skin was ready to remove.

Before she removed the skin completely she rolled the elk onto the tarp to keep the meat from getting dirty. When the Elk was now on the tarp she tugged from the back all the way up, the hide coming off like a jacket from a person. Now the cape like fur was now loose and she folded it skin-side to skin-side, that way the fur would not get messed up when she traveled. She folded it up neatly keeping it tight.

Now that the skinning was out of the way, she had to start butchering the Elk and gutting it. Caesi took the hide to her Yvas bag and placed it inside one so it would stay tightly folded. Grabbing up her water-skin she took a deep drink, swiping at her brow that was now beaded with sweat. Skinning the Elk was taking a lot of work and her muscles were becoming a little tensed from all the work of tugging the skin off of the beast. She stood there sipping at her water-skin, resting her muscles, for a few chimes. Relaxing herself before moving on to the next, more messier, task.

The skinless Elk was now exposed and ready for her to finish butchering it. Going to the sternum she made a incision. Slicing the Elk all the way down to the anus of the Elk. Once the Elk was splayed open for her, she brought the ax. She needed to separate the ribs from the chest cavity. Bringing down the ax in small swings, she broke away the ribs from the chest cavity, working up the neck to also remove the windpipe. Placing the ax back down, she used her hands to pull the rib cage apart and upon up the inside better. When everything was separated, Caesi began pulling things loose and disposing of what she could.

When this was done she made cuts along the abdominal area, to help loosen the organs up. Cutting along the seams so the organs would just fall out. Once everything was cut and loosened the insides of the Elk spilled out on top of her. She piled the organs in a small pile, then went back at it. The bladder and rectum she had to be careful with so she did not spoil any of the meat, it would take careful and easy movements.

Using her hunting knife she split the arch at the pelvic of the Elk, exposing them better for her and providing a larger space to work with. Inserting her thumb at the anus, she used her hunting knife to cut around her inserted thumb. Then she began to carefully pull out the intestines, being careful not to pull to hard so they did not rip open. Then she reached in and carefully removed the bladder of the Elk. Once it was away from the meat, she tossed it. The bladder erupted once it hit the ground with a wet smacking sound, making her shudder slightly.

From this point it was time to remove some of the meat so she could transport the large animal easier. Going back up to the front quarters of the Elk, Caesi brought her hunting blade and began to work the hams of the Elk off. Cutting the seams to separate the meat between the muscles, and working her knife until she came to the shoulder. Once at the shoulder she cut the flank steak off in a long strip of meat. Caesi then moved down to the ribs. Cutting the rib meat off, going slowly and then laid that meat on top of the pile of other meat she had cut. Then Caesi went to where the backbone was. Pushing down on the membranes, she brought her knife to cut off the tenderloin from there, using the backbone as her guide. She worked slow and careful as she got the tenderloin off. Flipping the carcass over she did the same to the other side, working in quick but careful movements as she removed the meat from the Elk until all the meat that was edible had been removed from the carcass.

At this point she pushed the now light Elk off the tarp. Taking the organs to the body of water, she sent a small prayer to Caiyha and Semele thanking them for the Elk and the sustenance it would provide to her Pavilion. Digging a small and shallow hole with her ax she buried the organs into the ground, then rinsed off her hands, ax, and hunting knife. Once she was cleaned up she went to the pile of meat, dragging the tarp near the clean water source.

Taking her water-skin she filled it with the cool and clean water, rinsing off the different portions of meat that was on the tarp. Once they were all clean she went back to her hunting kit that had some preserving utensils inside it. Grabbing the kit she went back to the meat to began the process of preserving the meat.

Rubbing her upper arms from the strain she had put them under, she looked down at her kit. She had some salt which would help the curing process of the meat, however that was all she could do currently until she was able to get back to her pavilion. Grabbing the salt, she sat it down beside her. Lifting her hunting knife up, she cut the meat into long slabs, so they could be covered with salt easier. Once this was done she picked up the salt and poured it over some of the meat, then she rubbed it into the meat. She did not have enough salt to cover all of it, but she covered and rubbed the salt in the best she could. Once she was done with this she wrapped the meat up in the tarp, tying it off with a rope. Hoping the salt would keep all the meat fresh until she returned to her Pavilon.

She heard a soft bark and saw Nu coming towards her with a small pheasant in his mouth. It was not very large and it had taken him all day to catch just one pheasant. Those pheasants were tricky birds, it probably made him so mad that he would not stop until it was in his jaws. Her dog was just as bold and stubborn as she was. “Good job Nu!” Caesi said happily, taking the pheasant from his mouth, “Wow you did good.” Caesi said ruffing up his ears and petting him to show how proud she was of the dog. The dog's tongue hanged out but he appeared to be smiling and loving the attention he was receiving.

“Since you did such a good job, I will give you a present.” Caesi said as she walked over to the tree where the Elk legs were. Grabbing up one she handed it to Nu who barked and wagged his tail happily. Taking the Elk leg from her, Nu trotted off with his head held high, happy and satisfied. Laying down he began to chew on the leg with his lids half closed, in pure bliss. Caesi chucked and gathered the rest of the legs up, sticking them in the Yvas bag. They stuck out slightly but it could not be helped. The Pavilions other hunting dogs and cats would enjoy them at least. Heaving a sigh she looked down at her body. She was still wearing only her undergarments and blood and slime covered her person. She was quite disgusting looking. Looking over at Pyxis who was know grazing on some shorter grass near the rivers edge, she gave a shrug. The Strider swam happily so the water must be okay to swim in.

With that thought, Caesi took a dip into the water, rubbing her skin and hair ridding it of the disgusting substances that had covered it. Once she had cleaned her body, she got out and laid in the sun to dry off. Once she was dry she would pack up everything and head back to her Pavilion, with the Elk meat and legs to feed the animals and people. It was a challenging effort, it had taken her many bells to accomplish, but she had succeeded. Even though her body was screaming at her from muscles she had not used in many weeks, she felt pride that she was able to provide for her pavilion. It had taken endurance to get through it, but she did and she was happy to do so.

GraderThe Pelt and Meat is something I actually can not have unless awarded by the Grader, which is something I just found out (6/19/16). So if you do not think I deserve it I completely understand, just letting you know, thank you so much! :D

notes

I don't usually enjoy the hunting, butchery, skinning threads but this was great fun to read! I awarded meat quantity & pelt quality according to Caesi's butchery & skinning skill—alas I wish I could have awarded you more for all your hard work. If you feel I missed anything or have any concerns shoot away via PM, and don't forget to edit your request post. Rx
