Clyde nodded at the youth's statement, and at hearing his name.
“Nice to meet you Hwyn. Also... I'm not sure where you are staying now, but my place has an extra room. I'm only visiting, but with Alvadas current state of affairs in renting rooms, I felt it would simplify things to simply purchase a small residence. The only one I could find large enough to hold my group had one more room than I needed. If you'd like it, its yours until I leave.”
When he'd bargained with the seller of residences, the only one available had two pairs of rooms, for four total. He was in one, Sayana in another, and Terag in a third. The fourth though had been left unused, although as he was somewhat of a completionist he'd purchased the nicer bed for all four rooms. Clyde preferred to sleep on a nice bed with a good solid frame and an actual mattress with decent bed sheets, not just a pile of hay or whatever excuse for bedding was usually supplied in such rooms.
“One of the members of my group has the only other key, they only gave us two, so I'm afraid I can't lend you one to find the place. And Alvadas being Alvadas, it'd be rather pointless to try and tell you where it is. I'm heading there now, if you'd like to tag along. Its up to you. If not, you know what day I'm leaving, and we can meet on the docks.”
If Hwyn decided to follow Clyde along back to his residence, Clyde would lead the youth inside into the common area behind the front door. Along both the left and right wall were a pair of doors, each of the four doors leading into a bedroom with a shared bathroom between each pair. The door at the back led into a small study. Clyde would show him the spare room behind a door off the common area before retiring to his own room and bed. He was somewhat tired after today's events and was ready to rest.
If Hwyn didn't want to go along Clyde would simply wave goodbye and head off, following the pull of his key back to his house.
