“I have not tried fighting on horseback but i will follow your lead Ser Xervos. And give it a shot.”Evana said, Ferrin looked at her and gave her a nod. He then looked over to his patron in the midst of the fog. Ser Xervos arched a brow, and sighed where it'll be nearly impossible to hear it; inaudible.
"Well, we'll have you two lot spar with wooden swords then. Be careful in this fog though; it can be highly dangerous." Fortunately, there was a young boy transporting a few armfuls of wooden tools and weapons across the fields, "you boy!" Ser Xervos called out, the boy. The young boy jumped; a bit startled and fumbled the wooden tools and weapons, he meant to bring them to a storage unit, but he didn't want to be interrupted if Ferrin hadn't known any better, he could be a page.
The boy looked fairly young, and the squire assumed that he was obviously no younger than fifteen. The boy picked up his wooden tools and weapons once again and half skipped and half ran over, being careful with the weapons and tools.
"Yes Ser?" The boy asked skeptically; looking at the three before him with curiosity and nearly wide eyed expressions. The boy carefully readjusted the tools and weapons against his arms.
"Hand us some wooden swords, eh?" The knight asked respectfully leaning forward to make sure the boy does as he's told. "Yes Ser." The boy responded, placing the tools and weapons down carefully. Eventually, after picking through the weapons, the boy managed to pull out a couple of aged wooden swords that appear to be chipped and slightly beaten on, but they'll work just fine.
"Here you go ser." The boy began to hand the Knight the two wooden swords before quickly returning to his responsibility.
"They're not for me, for those two boy, now hand them over please." Ser Xervos ordered; keeping his calm. Ferrin was slightly beginning to feel a little nervous/embarrassed.
"Here." The Page handed one to Ferrin, the squire gingerly took it nodding his thanks to the young boy.
"Thank you." The boy nodded and handed the other to Evana and quickly returned to his duty.
"Now, to answer your question Evana, I won't be partaking in this spar, as I merely just observe, I'd like to see how well you two perform. Maybe if you do well Evana, I could send a word to the Order about your performance?" The knight asked. "That's if you'd like to join the Order?" The knight added, cocking a brow curiously wondering if she would. Ferrin thought he was being funny, but he let it be and made sure to not to laugh. Perhaps Evana would take on the offer, after all, the Order could always use new recruits.
"I want you two to get ready and begin; once you are. I'd say a best of two out of three." The knight exclaimed, clasping his hands together, "begin?"
