The Seas' Edge Fish Market

Is it wrong that a Charodae, who is naturally a vegetarian, decided to start selling meat to the people of Syka? The truth is, it doesn't matter. This entire venture was constructed so that Bay'lin could build a stable life for him and his sister. The only way he knew how to do that was by taking advantage of a product that he is exceptional well suited to find and supply. Fish. At the moment, The Seas' Edge Fish Market is simply a tent on the beach with a barrel in front of it.

Every day Bay'lin rides out into the Suvan Sea on his seahorse to go net himself a new supply of fish; netting only those in excess to avoid disturbing the aquatic ecosystem even if that means cutting other fisherman's nets. The inside of the tent itself is used as a workstation to preserve his daily catch in various ways. And through his use of voiding, all rotten fish remains are simply cast away for sanitation or kept as bait. As his business grows, Bay'lin will set up more barrels, more tents and; once he's built it, an actual storefront. A location to house his large specialty game catches, preserved fish stock, and even shellfish.

The Seas' Edge Fish Market

While this is a legitimate business plan for a larger city, it falls into the realm of an occupation in Syka. There are simply not enough people in Syka to justify a full-fledged individual business. Syka is more of a small settlement that could one day become larger through player interaction and development. Basically you would be catching fish and trading/selling them to the Syka Mercantile in exchange for the equivalent of a wage which is why this type of work is more occupational than it is a business in itself.
