It was a trap. Whether he guess right or wrong, it did not matter to the Eypharian. In fact, she would have been pleased if he guessed right, to further lure him into the game she played. So moments before the dark wizard spoke, Sayana decided she would respond affirmatively to whatever magic he spoke. Clyde, on the other hand, wasn’t playing her game and she would resolve that later with the mage.

She had been somewhat taken aback by Clyde’s response, or lack of response. She had seen his anger earlier when the paper was burned, even if it was masked by a complete calm outwards appearance. She had expected at least some reaction to her challenge to the nuit wizard, but there was nothing and she wasn’t sure if he simply trusted her endeavor or if he dismissed her for being no better.

So there was a pause before she acted, but her contempt and annoyance towards the nuit was beginning to grow. All the while she took in slow deep breaths and the djed throughout her body seemed to tingle as it rushed towards her head and to her mouth.

After Aerius spoke, guessing correctly or not, the Eypharian would beckon him with a finger and lean in as if to plant a kiss upon his cheek. But instead she would whisper into his ear.

“I would never give a kiss to a filthy magic sucker like you. You’re nothing but a parasite, a leech.”

With hardly a thought, she fundamentally changed her method of hypnotism. Instead of concentrating on an emotion that would replicate and fester in her intended target, she poured all her concentration into rage, contempt, and utter disgust.

These were not emotions intended to spread, but to provoke a new and different emotion in the target. A natural outcome in the face of such strong and aggressive feelings. Humiliation.

Her djed rushed out in a torrent of magic. Wave after wave hit the nuit with the overwhelming feeling of shame and humiliation. It was not a suggestion, not a subtle influence of the mind, but a command. Again and again she struck out with it, thoroughly depleting her supply of djed.

The Eypharian kept him in an intense stare, which was only broken as she plunged a dagger down into his left thigh.

“Go. Go practice your healing, nuit. I don’t want to see you.”

OOCI understand that Aerius will no longer be active for a while, so it might not be considered fair since he can’t strike back, but I wanted to get that particular plotline wrapped up and written down instead of floating around in my head.

If Clyde had learned one thing from his time interacting with Sayana, it was that she could take care of herself. He gave aid when needed, or when asked for, or when he felt like it, but he didn't do so otherwise.

He was willing to let her make her own choices, otherwise she'd be no more than a slave or an appendage to himself. That, he knew, would be beyond pointless.

And so when he could, and when he didn't think it'd get her killed, he let her make her own choices whether or not he agreed with her choice.

He was fairly certain she was making such a foolish decision now, as he felt the djed hum on the air between the two, and as Sayana used her magic upon the not a nuit.

He was a bit surprised when she suddenly changed from using magic to more mundane methods, stabbing a dagger into his flesh. He considered for a moment if the not nuits words before were a boast, not true, but he couldn't be sure. He assumed for now he spoke the truth, from the way he'd reacted and spoken. If not true, the injury she'd given him wouldn't be slight or easily recuperated from. In fact, it'd quite likely be incapacitating.

While he'd been a bit surprised by her actions, Clyde still schooled his face with calming breathing without even changing the cadence of said exchange.

Noting the not nuit though, he was equally surprised by his reaction. While the flesh seemed damaged, wounded, it did not leak. He did not bleed as a living person would, nor did he leak ichor like a nuit would. Perhaps then his words had been more than boast.

Clyde thought this to himself quietly as he left, heading back to his room to examine his new accommodations.
Clydes Stuff

I am actually in RL a super intelligent hamster from Rhode Island, with a 7 year plan to take over the world.

Update 6/2/18- 1:10AM EST: His 7 year plan a success, and several weeks ahead of schedule, Clyde leaves to oversee the world he has taken over.

No new threads after end of Spring 518-Will still be checking for PM's occasionally, but focusing on a new character.

Graders note: :
Please be aware Clyde is a master Magecrafter. He therefore should not be gaining full xp(or possibly shouldn't gain any at all) for simple tasks related to this magic, such as low level MC items, particularly for repetitions of creations he has done before. Feel free to contact me if unsure of a instance of his magic use compared to his skill level.
