Hi guys-

I just wanted to let you all know that I just managed to make it through the first period of the first quarter of my job which is traditionally very hectic. I'm working today which makes it day 6 and will probably add another 10-14 hrs onto my time for the week making it into the high 70's I've logged at work so far. I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to everyone's posts. I will by tomorrow for sure.

And if your in the process of being 'hired' last season, consider yourself on the payroll this season. Please fill out a 'people of Sanctuary' entry and I'll post it up with the rest of the staff. If you need a template to fill out, I can pm you one just drop me a line. Remember, like storytellers in the cities, I'm going to require you guys do at least two threads a season (thats in three months so you should be able to do it!) that has you somehow mentioning, doing, or actively participating in your job. You can start these, you don't need to wait for me to do them. If your a healer, do some healing. If you guard the place, rp out defending it from something... if you train or ride or groom, be doing that in yoru threads!

I have noticed the new thread, and was wondering are we supposed to wait for Ixal to post first, or do we all just jump right in?

I have the staff stuff done as far as I can until someone sends me more stuff. I think I'll add salary too onto the forms so I know what everyones being paid and ow broke Kav is going to be in the near future.

So when we're done technically hiring soon, I'll ask for everyones agreed salary and add it in so I can better track my expenses for the business. I have enough foals I just can keep selling them in order to make expense and payroll if necessary. I guess that's what the purpose of a breeding farm is right? *grin*

I'd like to get the kennels going for a dog breed or two. I was hoping for building a place then adding some dogs. Is anyone interested in this as a project?

Didn't you already have salaries up? I'm sure I read it somewhere. Or maybe I'm making it up.
And I like the sound of a Kennel. 'Kara would be more than happy to help out with it's construction and things (: Count me in for that.

Just thought I should pop in and add some things that I had in mind for 'Kara this Spring.
Basically, she's looking to make some new friends, to improve her traditional healing skills (bandages and all that), learn some herbalism and perhaps a little combat training.
But I would also love for her to get really involved with all the workings of the Sanctuary too. Building the kennels, any breeding/purchasing of animals and such.

So if anyone has any threads they want to do that include one or two of these things then count me in ^.^

Great plans, Lakara.

Well, this is what I had in mind for Spring 511.

Have Hatot's child (any volunteers to deliver?).
Petition the Oathmaster/Council to see if her debt is paid.
Pay off Sanctuary so shes finally a full owner.
Foal out 20+ Mares and rebreed (this might mean a breeding plan meeting thread).
Take care of clients/customers as they come in.
Get Dagger up to expert.
Hold a secret meeting and reveal something to everyone as to why they were hired.
Make sure everyone else's needs are met.

Riki is up for helping to deliver if Kavala would be comfortable with it

For Riki his plans are quite simple
-Work on animal husbandry, herbalisim, medicine, philtering, and breeding
-Learn some way of defending himself (he is a novice in archery)
-Make many friends

-Get involved in the Sanctuary and fun times
-Help with making the kennel a reality
-Help with birthing some horsies!

I think that is about it for now

Spring is going to be fun, I can tell.
