Sevris was heaving now. Expending a lot of energy just to overpower the Zith. He fell backwards trying to catch his breath. He sat by the Zith, who was either unconscious or dead. As its face was pretty bloody and its arm was still bleeding pretty badly. Not his problem, he had to find out if Miriam had apprehended the female Zith that had attacked her. He forced himself to push through the pain in his chest and his dislocated shoulder. The Solider tried to calm down and even his breathing, trying to catch his breath properly. Meditation was not his strong suit as it didn't work apparently and he was still breathing erratically. He would get it back as he would need to spend some time in working his way down off of the roof. Standing up tall he reached over and grabbed the Zith by his fur again. Then heaved the Zith off of the roof down below. There was a loud thud as it crashed into the ground. Then he picked up his double-bladed sword and threw it over the roof. Then looked around to see how he could work his way down. The side of the building was connected with a lots of wooden pillars. It wasn't the safest way down but it was one of the only ways. He attempted to climb below, sticking his feet over the roofs edge. Trying to wiggle his legs around the pillar. He was sort of successful in he began to slide down. But being weighed down by so much armor it was a failed attempt. He slid down faster than anticipated and ended up sliding off completely. Sevris landed on his back a second time for the night. Pain shot through his entire body as the impact was strong. He rolled on to his side very annoyed about the entire situation. He was airborne for a very short while but that was because a monster had tried capture him. Someone was coming down the road, towards them. Sevris noticed now that he could focus on his surroundings, he was a little further away from where they were initially. Being dragged with no care whatsoever, the female Zith was being manhandled by a furious Miriam. She had bound the Zith's hands and her wings seemed to be very damaged. Stopping her from possibly taking off into the sky. She was still conscious but she had been beaten severely. Bruises and cuts of assortments scattered across her face and body. "This one is either dead or dying." Sevris said to Miriam as she came within earshot. "I have alerted the guard. They are sending a squadron to help the man, the Stryfe is around the corner with another patrol. And this one will not be trouble anymore." She viciously shook the Zith in agreement. "Isn't that correct?" The Zith ignored her, but raised her head high enough that she noticed her partner battered and bleeding on the ground. Sevris was able to notice a look of fear and anger. But they were quickly dismissed as fast as it came. These two might be more than hunting partners. |
