Hello my people of Alvadas,

First I would like to say that the mods have officially opened a new area in Alvadas, and I updated the linkmap in light of the new area. The Alvadas' Underground is the place for your dark and dangerous adventures, but wait, you need a lore to be able to access it! Yes, all areas in the Underground are 'unlockable' and those that have the lore will be able to explore the new side of Alvadas.

How do I gain the lore? That is easy, in one of your threads follow (or something more creative) someone in the underground. Once you have entered the underground the lore will be awarded by a mod at the end of the thread. Those that have the lore can show other PCs the Underground as well. There are many ways of unlocking the underground, but know it is meant to illustrate the darker side of illusion. Its going to be like some warped and twisted version of Alice in Wonderland (or even more so than Alvadas already is). Its a place that is just about forgotten about and left for illusion to ravish, twist, and distort things even further than it could with the city above.

The Streets below is the first area we've published and it came from the wonderful mind of our very own Bedlam. This will most likely be the 'safest' area in the underground.

To other matters Ill be less active come NaNo, but once I reach my word count for the day Im going to check everything in Alvadas, answer some PMs, perhaps even grade a little. The quest that I started will be updated throughout the month, just it is put second in favor of NaNo. When I come back grading spree and the winter quests so a lot to look forward to.

I'd like to introduce Arrow - he'll be playing in Alvadas. He has been a resident here for a while (surprise!) and runs a little shop where he deals in books and does copy work. He also writes a bit (well, a lot) and to actually support himself (as we all know how hard it is to make money writing) he is a competent brewer and sells his ales, stouts and lagers to the local taverns, inns, and also to private customers (place your orders now!).

I'm looking forward to playing with anyone who wants a thread. Alvadas seems like such an intriguing place! I'm happy to thread about any subject, though any type of combat/fighting probably isn't too much in character for Arrow (unless its "cower, ouch, run away" ) Nah, he probably isn't that bad but he doesn't have any fighting skills (which isn't to say he couldn't learn some). But I am up for anything, including threads involving his business(es), which include taking on the occasional student (for history/philosophy). Just send me a PM if you'd like to interact with him.

My peeps of Alvadas, this is a special notice to all business owners of the city. It has been brought to my attention that I totally missed an important aspect of the game and of owning a business. We all learn, dont we?

I've been asked that to all who own businesses within Alvadas fill out a Business Sheet of sorts. My search for this ended here, where I found it.
