OOC Info [Ravok's OOC Thread] Tell Me Your Secrets

A query, would it be possible to have a moderated thread looking for some kind of historical scholar (even if I don't find one, would be fun just to do a thread getting to know Dranquay a bit better and his reaction to things) in relation to BV history and the Diary Dranquay has, plus his general desire to learn more about Akvatar et al.

Don't want to post anything up if you don't have time for it or it wouldn't be your thing!

I would be happy to help you do a thread like this. Developing a bit of history is a great thing for both a player/character and the game setting itself.

Here are some links to articles in Lore that deal with Ravok. I will be adding them to the linkmap as well. The main one that I think everyone playing in Ravok or who want to play in Ravok should look at is the main Lore entry for the city.

Ravok - City information; religion, culture, history, society, etc.
Families of Ravok - Prominent families in the city that characters may encounter in one form or another.
The Black Sun - The religious organization that governs Ravok.
The Ebonstryfe - The secret police that work alongside The Black Sun.
Rhysol- The God of Evil who resides within the city.
The Voice - High Priestess of Rhysol and head of The Black Sun.
Druvin- Beings who were once mortal that are now transformed through the blood of Rhysol.

Humm yep all that looks familiar. Cept the families, I think I missed that link somewhere. Good stuff though - really like what you've done with Ravok so far. I know its kind of silly for Chael to be here but what can I say... While I understand its a dangerous place... She's partially unaware and just wants to paint your canals and stilted buildings.

I have a feeling Dranquay's going to drag her out of here quickly though. Hehe.

You have put a ton of hard work into the city and it shows. I had already read most of that but the new stuff was very informative. Some how I had missed the Druvan, wicked awesome though.

I have some more things in the Linkmap that I will be putting location threads to shortly; some in a few short moments hopefully; more specialized shops including a weaponsmith/armorer and a "school" of sorts where the Ebonstryfe indoctrinate new recruits, train and prepare them to become members of the elite force.
