. Explanation The Sanctuary has been a rather large diverse facility which does all kinds of things within its walls. However, for the purpose of a business model one type of business must be picked. Hence 'Healing' has been selected. There are also businesses operating within The Sanctuary that will eventually have their own business plans such as a Falconer and her Mews and a Dog Breeder and his Kennel. Kavala has helped fund and finance these places, but receives no profit from them for simplicities sake. The exchange is that while they exist on her land, their staff helps her staff and keeps things neat. In regards to stock, initial stock has been purchased, but since the facility has been operating for years, additional stock has been bred. Sales of foals and healing services go to maintain stock feed and replenishment of supplies like tack which is a minimal because Kavala is Drykas and runs only Yvas on her animals. All staff is paid directly by Kavala out of Kavala's own salary. Improvements and or downgrades to the structure have been made throughout the history of The Sanctuary. For example, The Djed storm of The Spring of 512 leveled the topside of the facility though the internal structure is fine and because of Mura's warnings, all livestock was saved. This business plan is being posted now due to the new requirements for business plans to be public knowledge and approved by Gillar. Application For Secondary and Tertiary Businesses Kavala’s main business is an animal healing clinic. She’s been in business since ‘09/’10 so she’s well established with a good reputation. She’s making the max a healer can make due to her primary, secondary, and tertiary skills plus her involvement in the community. I'd like to expand her business income to include her horse breeding (she runs a breeding/boarding facility too as part of The Sanctuary) and her beekeeping art. All of the products from her bees and from having a boarding facility can accounted for to justify this expansion. In addition, I sell Kavala's horses that she breeds for to cut down her herd etc. Her secondary business will reflect her BOARDING stable not her breeding business which I account for with individual sales of dogs and horses. Primary Business = Medicine/Animal Healer = 86 GM/Day. Primary Income Math : Primary: Healer (Medicine 100) – 12GM/Day 12+6 = 18 (L2) 18*2 = 36 (L3) 36*2 = 72 (L4) 20% profit for being a business owner = 14 Gm/Day Total income = 86 GM/Day Secondary Business: Boarding/Training Horses = 16 GM/Day Secondary Business Math : Kavala raises and breeds horses true, but she also BOARDS them for others. She actively sells these in threads and works to prefect her Denusk Breed. This will be her secondary business. Secondary: Animal Handler/Boarding Stable (Animal Husbandry 100) – 5GM/Day 5+2 = 7 GM (L2) 7*2= 14 (L3) 14*2 = 28 Business ownership bonus of 20% (28*.2=5.6) so 28+5.6= 33.6 33 a day is the total income but it’s a secondary business so its halved or 16.8 (rounded to 16) So additional income from secondary business = 16 GM/Day Tertiary income: Beekeeping 7 GM/day Tertiary Business Math : Kavala is actively doing threads and keeping bees at The Sanctuary. She’ll be able to sell bees to people and honey or wax as well. This will be her tertiary business. Tertiary: Beekeeping (Beekeeping 55) – 6GM/Day 6+3= 9 GM (L2) 9*2=18 GM (L3) Kavala is not yet at Master, only Expert.. Business ownership bonus of 20% (18*.2=3.6) so 18+3.6 = 21 GM/Day 21 a day is the total income but it’s a tertiary business so its thirded = 7 GM/Day So additional income from the tertiary business = 7 GM/Day So in summary, in applying for the secondary and tertiary businesses, I have come up with… Healer (Medicine 100 XP) = 86 GM/Day Breeder (Animal Husbandry 100XP) = 16 GM/Day Beekeeper (Beekeeping @ 55XP) = 7 GM/Day Total: 109 GM/Day This will help tremendously since Kavala pays her employees out of her own pocket earnings and her employees are getting higher and higher in skill level leaving almost nothing left in profit when she has a full staff at The Sanctuary.
