Hello, people of Mizahar. My real-life (boring!) name is Sarah, but you can call me Sarah, Ullr, or Pardon. I respond to all of them—is that strange? Oh well. So here's the story from A-Z, ya wanna get with me, ya gotta listen carefu-

Okay. Enough with the clowning around. Let's start over. Hi, y'all. I'm new to this wonderful world and just wanted to throw myself out there. I haven't roleplayed via the post-by-post method in some time, so my writing skills are a bit rusty (I hope those of you I encounter in-character aren't too offended!). I dabbled in forum roleplay when I was around eleven years old, became an admin of an established Pokemon play-by-post site when I was twelve, but completely stopped writing (other than for school assignments) when I was fourteen. I'm one of those all-AP-or-nothing kids, so I don't have much free time. However, I'm tired of writing rhetorical analysis essays and DBQs, and I really want to embrace the things I love—writing and fantasy—again. I can't tell you how many hours I spent this past week Googling "text-based fantasy rpg" and all the variants of said phrase. I reworded my search today to include that lovely play-by-post bit, and voila! The first promising search result was Mizahar. I'm nowhere done creating my character, but I spent the last four hours or so coming up with her skeleton and researching Mizahar lore. I hope I make a decent addition to the family, and thank you for taking the time to read through this lengthy intro!

Hello Sarah, Welcome to Mizahar! I see you have RPed before, so that is always good! It helps to have a some what basic knowledge of the whole process, I personally started out as a complete NOOB and am still learning things as I go, which I suppose here you learn something new everyday whether you are new or old, hahaha.

Anywho, I am going to stop rambling now, I hope you enjoy your time here! Of course you know you can PM people questions, but if you want an instant response you can also ask the people in the Chat Room, they are very informative and willing to help people out. I personally go to the Chat Room if I am feeling impatient that day, haha.

Everything seems so overwhelmingly complex to me; I'm a rather simple-minded girl. I also tend to over think things. Roleplay on Mizahar is probably much easier than I'm making it out to be. However, the complexity isn't a bother at all! This world is excellently crafted, beautiful, and DETAILED. The site's structure is fairly tight-knit and smooth (or at least it'll be fluid once I get the hang of things), and I'm looking forward to putting my first bit of text up. My only question is, where do I start? I've been tipped off that I should make a city-gate post, but how exactly (well, not exactly) do I go about that? (posting style is still in the works)

Hello there as well! It is the seventh day in the first month of the year, and I'm all about counting down until the days of school are over with. xP I found Mizahar via intense rephrasing in Google search while fending to keep my eyes open before my alarm is supposed to go off last night and -breathe- I just need an outlet to write. I've no experience in role play unless one may count Nostale (gr those repetitive mmorpgs!) but I do have joyous experience in writing thanks to my high school classes. However, the only writing class this year is my AP English III and I've grown tired of analyzing another person's words. I just want to write for the love of it! I took a creative class (mostly wrote poetry, some short stories that never got finished) in my sophomore year and we still meet up to talk, but it turns out that no one has been writing since! So the reason I am here is because I want to becomes friends with other writers and explore a different style as well as collaborate!

Well,enough of my background, I've forgotten to introduce myself. I'm Sirikhwan, but you're more than welcome to make a nickname for me, as I do enjoy pet names and other aliases haha. As of now, I'm still reading the how-to-do's of the world of Mizahar and I will sincerely do my best to not disrespect any rules of this craft. Hope to talk to you soon!

Welcome, welcome! You'll do just fine, I'm sure. Everyone is always glad to have another Kelvic lady around as well, certainly. Though my ONLY suggestion may be to reconsider the font for your text. It's difficult to read as it is with these small posts and will only be exacerbated with longer stuff: Your character sheet was an ordeal!

Otherwise, welcome to the game! Funny bit of trivia: I joined my first roleplaying community at eleven as well. Though I have a bit of an edge on you, I admit.

People love roleplaying Kelvics. Probably because we're starved of that special attention in every day life. /lifeofanerdgirl ;A; I didn't realize it was hard to read, 'cause I'm used to reading fonts and such like it... So thank you SO much! I don't want to give people headaches, and I definitely don't want my posts to be a pain. Time to go on a quest for an acceptable font! D'ya think this one will suffice? ... Oohoo, four years. Just a bit. You're a regular elder. Your character sheet is amazing, by the way.

Oh man that's so much better. Excellent choice. You might also be surprised just how much attention us nerds can earn ourselves. My poor post-secondary educational institution has to deal with my ugly mug on their hall of fame wall for the rest of forever now.

I appreciate the compliment! As for your earlier comment: I even walk around with a cane and say "Back in the day..." as often as possible. Us old folk got rules to follow!
