Hey people of the eagles,

I haven't forgotten ya'll I just got over being sick two weeks in a row, and then catching up with my work for school ( I know loads of fun) anyways I know there are threads to be graded, and threads that I am modding to be started but it may take me another day to get back into the swing of things.

So.... Please don't give up on me I am on my way back.

As for the archery contest if you have signed up you are in (even if you were a little bit late ,it's all good) and it sho uld start soon.

Alrighty, I'm just going to say... HELLO! And please don't hate me for the amount of questions that will inevitably follow. I'm a bit overwhelmed and not too sure how to proceed so I figured I could write some questions here and hopefully someone can at least point me in the correct direction, I hope. Please?

First of all, even though Eilea is "visiting" I'm pretty sure she plans to call Wind Reach her home... So what do I do about making that happen? Also, how exactly should I get started? Do I need to post an arrival at the Gates? And how does finding a job and making money, or even buying anything work, exactly? She needs a few things. Well, that and she sort of needs to survive. Eilea would also like to learn how to hunt and get better at preparing food or eh... cooking. How would I go about having her learn?

Okay, I think that's enough questions for now. Any help getting started would be much appreciated and I'm sorry if I've completely missed a bunch!

Welcome to Wind Reach, Eilea!

You will need to post your arrival at the gates, yes. From there, you head to the Valintar and they can set you up with employment and housing. Here we have a caste system and all castes get a set amount of pay at the end of the season that usually reflects your caste's importance in the city.

If you want to learn something, you can see about our NPC library for a tutor or find yourself a PC tutor that's willing to teach you. Hunting is a bit restrictive right now, outside of Wind Reach that is, due to the fact that it is Winter and very dangerous out there even without snow and stuff, but we have a nifty Underground Forest filled with giant bats and fungi so you can have a try at hunting there... Or you can still go outside and see what happens. You might get something big!

Anyway, that's Leaf's two cents.

Hey Everyone,

Quick reminder that the season (and year) change is coming at the beginning of next month! That means that you better hurry up and get your job threads done and prepare to turn them in for salaries! They don't have to be 100% completed, but I do expect them to be more than just a single post, with obvious intent for completion, in order to earn the wages. I'm usually very lax, so don't stress.

On another VERY important note is that Kalea is going to be participating in a Region wide quest in the Spring! Each city is going to be featured, and that includes Wind Reach. The only requirement to participate is that you be in the region for Spring, as the quest is probably going to be taking place at the very end of the Season.
