Kyra had watched Clyde making the magical scrolls to wrap around the arrows. She had saw him do this before and as she stood there now, the kelvic tried to remember how he had explained it before as well as putting the knowledge together with what she saw him put on the parchment. Unless she was mistaken, it seemed that the more intricate the design was, the more powerful the effect would be when the arrow was fired. There was also a sort of tell within the design, by which the was an arrow drawn into the scroll so that the user would know which way the magic came out.
Assuming that she was right, or at least on the right path, judging by the design that he had just done it, the magic within would be very powerful once she fired the arrow. It was all just too much fun. Once the fire arrow was completed and Clyde set out for the next one, Kyra looked on for a bit. It was more help to listen while he worked and explained what he was doing, but this time he didn't say much and continued at his work.
Kyra figured that he might explain more later on, but if not she would be just as happy to have the arrows to use as she saw fit. While she waited for Clyde to finish up, she strolled around a bit and looked out at the area around them. It was spacy and the trees were set off and to the back where they were cluttered. The kelvic was excited now, just thinking about the arrows and could not stand still. So instead she removed her dagger and looked around for a target.
First her golden eyes move onto a rabbit that had just appeared, and she wondered if she could be able to hit it. However she knew the chances of that were slim, so instead she decided to focus on a larger target, like a tree. Kyra took aim, holding her arm out and pointing the dagger towards the tree that she wanted to hit. She envisioned the throw, the way the dagger would split the wind and slam into the tree. Once she was ready, she launched the dagger across the level ground and sent it towards the tree.
The dagger came close, and missed the tree by only a few inches. The young kelvic huffed and set off to reclaim her weapon. She returned shortly with the dagger and took aim a second time and threw the dagger at the tree once again. This through was even worse than the one before and landed clear past the tree that she had aimed for. Another sigh, and she was off again to fetch her dagger. By the time she returned, Clyde had finished the first part and was handing off an arrow to Kyra.
She followed him easily, and stepped back and away from the scroll that he had laid out. Nodding to his words, she turned away and covered her ears. It was just as it was the last time and doing this again with him made her happy. Kyra peeked to her side to see what Clyde was doing and purring softly the whole time. The loud boom caused her to jump a bit, and her nose started to twitch when the burned smell wafted passed it. Turning back to face Clyde after he tapped her shoulder, Kyra smiled and clapped her hands together.
"This is wonderful!"
