It was a lovely morning outside, the sun shining, the cool ocean breeze bringing blowing inland... Yet, Zuki found it better inside in the University's library. He wasn't a student, but he still visited the open portions and indulged in the books the public were allowed. Today he was enjoying a bit of light reading - well... light for him. There were three piles of books; Fantasy pile, which held stories of pirates and spelunkers this time around, a small Informational pile about the history of Sultros and Lhavit, and a pile of journals varying in topics.
Today he did not worry about hiding himself, instead he wore a normal tunic with three arms crammed into each short sleeve and a pair of loose fitting breeches that hung a bit too far over his sandal clad feet. While one set of arms rested crossed on the table and a second propped elbows just before them to prop up his head, the third set held up one of the books. Introductory to Sonnets and Poetry the title read. It was a dusty old book, not too thick, and filled to the brim with example poems and sonnets.
He could easily breeze through a book in a few hours, his mind practically absorbed pages of writing at a time, but he slowed down for each of the examples, slowly soaking in each word. Every time one of the crossed arms rose to flip a page, one propping his head up would reach higher to push a loop of his stunningly long hair from his face, to send it trailing down his back with the rest.
"What doth the winter bring," he whispered to himself, trying to concoct his own little poem on the spot. "if not only a blanket of purity? Tis it ill minded to believe, if only for the bell, ... Hmmm, no that's no good..." He shook his head, flipping to the next page to read on. Maybe he would find his muse in a work already written, if only in a particular format...
