Riverfall to Syliras

There are a number of threads regarding travelling times so I am sorry to add another one but needs must. What would be the travelling time between Riverfall and Syliras by sea in winter? Also I am guessing he need to have enough food and suitable clothing for the weather so what other costs might I need to factor in for this trip (He does have his own ship)? And a final question, do I have to post a thread regarding the journey at all? It's no problem if I have too, it just want a head up just in case.

Hey Davus!

I'm not entirely sure about traveling times myself, but I would say that you probably should do a thread regarding your travel, especially if it's a longer trip, but you probably don't have to. It's kinda like Flashbacks. You don't have to do them per se but it's helps flesh out the character better. Besides, you could get some water navigation skills and a ton of uber cool lores if you thread the travel. And who doesn't like skills and lores?

Sorry I could answer your other questions, but I'd rather not answer them at all than to give you false information. I'm sure someone else will come by and help you with those anyway. Good luck with your travels!

I'd say it's probably almost a full season at best, to go by boat (and that's assuming you don't get lost

). I'm not sure how winter affects the weather in the Suvan, but it at least doesn't freeze over. But yeah, I'd give it at least say, 80 days?

It'd be almost a full season, maybe a little less. When Raz traveled by ship from Riverfall to Syliras, it took him about 80 days, but that was with a 10-15 day stopover at the Anchorage Flotilla, "capital" of the Svefra.

Thank you all very much for your answers, they have been very helpful. Since the last thing my character would do is stop at the Anchorage Flotilla I think between 70-80 days seems reasonable enough for this voyage, also I think I'll definantely listen to your suggestion Gale and do a thread regarding this trip, it will be very useful to get some lores on for this character. Once again thank you for your responses, I just hope this won't cost too much
