Razkar of the Shorn Skulls

"Myri... cast eyes on your son this day. Feast though your warrior on this gift I bring. Goddess, I bring you victory. I bring you souls from glorious battle. Goddess... I bring you blood. I, Razkar of the Shorn Skulls, fulfill my vow, and pledge myself anew."

The last thing many souls have seen in this world...

Basic Information

Race: Myrian
Birthday & Age : Season of Summer, Day 9, 486 AV (27 years old)
Gender: Male

Physical Description

Razkar stands nearly six-feet tall, unusual for a Myrian male, and well-proportioned for his height. A lifetime living and hunting in the jungles outside Taloba has mercilessly banished all excess fat from his frame, leaving him as lean and taut as the animals he tracked as a boy. He wears his hair long and rarely cuts it, and even then only to ensure it does not hinder his vision. His eyes are black, a rare trait in Myrians seen as a blessing or a bad omen, depending on which clan one asks. It does make Razkar appear more frightening to some, but most times they glitter with amusement or interest in whatever they gaze at. Anger him, however, and they will do naught but reflect what they stare at, soulless and opaque.

Razkar's entire body is a patchwork of blue, red and black tattoowork, not to mention scars gained from more duels, skirmishes, battles, hunts and altercations than even he can remember. The most prominent are a series of cuts and gashes on his torso and left arm, gouged into his flesh by a tiger several years ago.

As befits any Myrian, Razkar is also bedecked with piercings through his face. All are bone, most from fallen enemies who distinguished themselves in his eyes. A more recent addition is his teeth: the top and bottom are sharpened to points that he cheerfully uses in combat.

Tattoos

Razkar's most glaring characteristic is the extensive artwork covering his arms and torso. Prime among them is the large circle on his forehead, which he refers to as "Myri's Eye". The massive, circular one on his right shoulder is in honor and commemoration of a ferocious fight between him and a tiger before he joined the Taloba army, a fight he barely survived.

Another visible image is one that covers most of his left arm, depicting a fierce, snarling tiger fighting with two Myrians joined at the hip. The female is Ayatah of the Scattered Bones, the great love of his life, who helped him hunt and kill a tiger for an Elder of his clan.

The pattern in his back is most important to him, however. Starting with a single skull at the center of his spine, a close, circular line of similar skulls winds out to now cover roughly a third of his back. Each one represents nothing more or less than a life taken by Razkar's own hand, and most likely a scalp taken thereafter. Anyone who inquires as to how many that is will be bluntly told the answer is "between myself and my Goddess", but there were several dozen by the time he set foot in Riverfall, and there is plenty of room for additions.

Since his arrival in Riverfall in the Fall of 512AV, Razkar has added one hundred and twenty-one skulls to his back.

Character Concept

"Goddess, ancestors, here my words this eve. Words I bring with humble offering.
Goddess, look upon my steel with favor. Know your servant will claim scalps and lives. Will send you the souls of warriors. Will give you cause to rejoice in the honors you bestowed.
Ancestors, smile upon my works. Know your son is worthy of his place among you. And our Queen will be honored in your son's offerings to her..."

Razkar is a man in love with combat. He believes killing in the service of his Goddess is his destiny, and the foremost purpose any worshiper of Myri. More than his loyalty to his people, his love for his clan and any contract he could sign outside of his homeland, Razkar is first and foremost a fanatical follower of Myri.

His entire life revolves around making war, and his attitude mirrors that purpose. When at "peace", he devotes himself to the martial arts, training constantly. In combat he veers between a screaming beserker and an eerily silent killer, whichever is needed. But he does not throw himself heedlessly into battles beyond him. Pragmatic despite his bloodlust, Razkar knows that in death he will take no scalps, and please no Goddess.

In other worlds, Razkar would be thought a zealot for sure and probably a psychopath, and both are broadly true. But he certainly has his own morality, and he is not some sullen and hostile automaton when not waging war. The Myrian has friends and family, loves and hobbies, not to mention a curiosity about the "barbarian" lands that has been well-served by his travels. Though his savage appearance may belie it, more often than not he pities those barbarian races he travels through, for they live beyond the light of Myri in his eyes.

A fierce protectiveness for kin and comrade also defines Razkar. His former fang in Taloba, most of whom are now long dead in battle, were as highly-regarded by him as his own clan. The half-Dhani Tinnok of the Tempered Steel is one he counts as his closest companions. The fact half her blood is steeped in the Ancient Enemy means nothing to him. She has shed blood with him in service of Taloba, and thus all other factors are meaningless.

Actions, in Razkar's opinion, are what truly defines one. Blood and past are factors, indeed, but it is the choices made in a moment that echo for centuries that make or break a spirit... and Razkar's view of them.

Passion is also a hallmark of Razkar's soul, but it is closely-guarded as a potential weapon that can be used against him. No vows have been exchanged in what would be seen as a "legally binding" fashion, but his heart and his loyalty is most definitely sworn to Ayatah of the Scattered Bones, a half-Epyharian who is also walking the world. To say he is devoted to her would be an understatement, and one of his main drives in life is to ensure her safety and happiness.

Razkar is also capable of introspection and self-analysis, which often works against him. He often fears that what he truly enjoys is simply the death and pain he inflicts in combat, and he uses his Goddess-Queen as an excuse to indulge the inexcusable. This is perhaps why he follows his warrior code so closely: because without it, he is nothing but a murderer.

As of the current date, off the battlefield Razkar is most often polite and reserved around those he meets, neither offensive nor forthcoming. To those he regards as worthy of his respect (something of a rarity outside his own people), he is positively warm and considerate. But the Myrian is a reflection of his own people: compassion and loyalty is not given freely; it is earned. Still, he seems to subscribe to the philosophy that there's no need to be a skurak when you don't have to be.

Character History

"Myri guide my hands... and Dira my blades..."

Rezkar was born to Zek and Yurta of the Shorn Skulls, a clan that has lived, hunted and fought in the jungle outside Taloba for centuries. Under the harsh upbringing of his clan-mothers, the boy grew tall, strong and unforgiving of weakness. Like his mother, Yurta, he soon showed an affinity for tracking lives through the foliage of the jungle, and ending them.

His clan got its name generations ago from their habit of scalping their enemies and braiding the skin, bones and sometimes organs onto their clothes. His mother had an entire cloak of scalps; his grandfather's bed was covered with a blanket crafted from flesh. These traditions he was taught, proud to learn and prouder still when he began his own Cloak of Fallen.

In his twentieth year, he joined his clan on patrols of their lands, even on long-distance patrols on behalf of the Taloba army. In 508AV he fought with his clan to hold back a rampaging Yukman horde that had already destroyed another village. He fought well and the horde was annihilated, but Razkar watched his mother slaughtered by the monster. His fury was terrifying to behold when he, equaled only by his grief and depression after her death.

His father knew of only one solution to end his son's listless nihilism, and he was sent to fulfill his service with the Taloba army early. To his surprise and his clan's relief, Razkar relished his time there. The skill he already showed with gladius and ax was further honed, as was his devotion to Myri. He marched with the Taloba army in dozens of patrols and several ambushes and battles against Dhani, Yukmen and various encroaching barbarian races.

In 509AV, something that Razkar had neither planned for nor expected happened: he fell in love. Whilst on leave from the Taloba Army at his clan lands, he met a travelling Myrian/Epyharian, Ayatah of the Scattered Bones. The two young warriors seemed to form and instant connection and while they left the Shorn Skulls village on a tiger hunt as friends, they returned as lovers. For two years he continued his service for Taloba and for Myri, his relationship with Ayatah deepening from physical lust and affection to a passionate devotion.

Then, in Spring of 512AV, the Djed Storm nearly ripped all of that apart.

As devastated by the Storm as his country and people were, Razkar nearly lost himself to a nihilistic, hateful despair. Aya and he suffered for it, and even his duty as a warrior bought him no relief. It took the combined efforts of Aya, his other half-breed comrade Tinnok of the Tempered Steel and the gaining of his Mark of Myri that finally dragged him for his pit of self-pity and despair.

Taloba, though, was no longer home to the young male. Not even the jungles and the canopy of his childhood bought him release from his ennui and he decided to accompany Aya when she announced she would leave for the barbarian lands, continuing her very un-Myrian education. Razkar, however, would be leaving for a different reason...

Razkar has been cursed by Yahal, and as such finds little acceptance from others; they will instinctively view him as being deceptive and traitorous. However, when close to one blessed by Yahal, the effect is negated. The curse is etched onto his left pectoral, and viewing the mark causes others to feel dirty and unclean.

Combat Style:

Summed up best as "brutally efficient", Razkar's fighting style is geared towards making him a close quarter monster, and it has succeeded. Although he is proficient with his shortbow after years of hunting in the Falyndar jungles (for prey on two legs and four), he much prefers and is far more adept with his blades.

The Myrian fights with a weapon in each hand, typically favoring his gladius and hand ax, having mastered both. Trained to kill in the stifling closeness and ruthlessness of jungle ambushes - the Myrians' favored battle tactic - Razkar focuses on hacking down his enemy quickly and fatally. Empowered by his gnosis from the Goddess of War, he overwhelms his opponents with devastatingly fast and accurate blows from both hands and moves on to the next. So-called "honorable" fighting is alien to him and he will happily use vicious brawling moves as he swings his iron if it means a faster resolution.

The Myrian is also learning to use kukri and double-bladed dagger, ensuring that should he lose his primary weapons in the heat of battle, he will be able to call on others with equal deadliness. But even if his hands are empty, Razkar is a master brawler, scarred and hardened body equally capable of dishing out and taking crippling blows without a qualm.

Flux Techniques :
Technique Incantation Description
Epoch "From my Body, Power... To my Fist, Strength-" A simple jab from either the left or right hand, this is the first move Razkar learned (hence the name). There's not much to it, but it's more than capable of breaking a jaw.
Goran Noet "From High... and Low." Translated as "Donkey Blow", this is thrusting the knee straight upward, aiming for the stomach or breastbone. If accompanied with a jump one can even aim for the jaw and face, but Razkar is not quite at that level yet.
Krosha Jan "Hard as Stone... Quick as Light." Meaning "Half-Arm Punch", this is an elbow strike aimed at the head or possibly neck. Risky and more complicated that the other two moves, it is compensated by essentially the same as smacking the target around the face with a hammer, so strong is the elbow and augmented it is by The Flux.
Kram Negat "In two breaths, fall and quiet." Razkar's first attempt at a combination of Flux-enhanced blows, "Two Breaths" utilizes a sweeping forearm blow to an attacking opponent's arm or leg, followed immediately by a powerful knee to the torso, both easily capable of breaking bone.
Kama Dira "From peace's face, Dira's embrace." Another one-two combination, "Dira's Embrace" consists of a devastating headbutt followed by a throat punch, both enhanced by djed and launched (ideally) from a deceptively placid facade.

Gnosis, Magic, Malediction Effects and Mental/Physical Quirks:

Gnosis
Myri's Mark
Slightly enhanced speed, particularly with weapons and in combat. Takes its form as a blood-dripping dagger burned into the back of Razkar's neck.

Yahal's Curse
Razkar finds little acceptance from others; they view him as being deceptive and traitorous.

Takes its form as a web-like tattoo of Shiber words, spelling out the sins Yahal deemed him guilty of. Even viewing the mark causes others to feel dirty and unclean.

Malediction +4, +2, +4, +3, +3 Novice 16

Malediction Effects
Red Mist

Gained when Razkar had the thigh bone of Myrian warrior Elanosa fashioned into a hilt for his gladius. An Elder of his clan "blessed" the bone with the Power of The Bones.

Dual Effect: When utilizing his Maledicted Gladius, one of two things can happen: Razkar can see through his own blood lust, lessening the effects of his own rage and preventing the sort of lack of control that led to Elanosa's death, or the opposite will happen. Upon reaching a fighting frenzy (This effect wouldn't generally take place in something like a training bout unless it got really heated), Razkar will find himself consumed with rage, lashing out with bloody vengeance at anyone or anything in his way.

In addition, the handle of the sword seems to stay in the hand better than any blade Razkar's ever held before. It can still be dropped and knocked out of his grasp, yet when it is there it seems almost magnetized to his flesh.

The Strength Of The Dead

Gained when Razkar used the thigh bone of the dead and devoured Akalak who broke his hand ax as the weapon's new handle. Once repaired, he took it to High Spirits in Riverfall, where spiritist Nessela aided him in a Malediction ritual on the weapon.

Effect: There is an inherent strength to this weapon that speaks of the one that wielded it. It does not manifest by giving its wielder more physical power, however, at least not that simply. Instead this weapon shows its true strength when striking against another weapon during a clash of battle. It is adept at scratching, denting, and possibly even breaking other weapons, and if that is the specific intent of the wielder, they will find their task aided like the solid kick of an Akalak’s muscled legs behind their strikes.

Bone Helm of the Dhani Beast

Taken from the massive, mutated corpse of a Dhani that was trapped between snake and Dhani form during the Djed Storm of 512AV. It terrorized the Shorn Skulls clan land before Razkar, his fang and his friend Tinnok hunted it down and slaughtered it. After it was consumed by the clan, the skull was kept and, in return for the rest of its bones, the Witch of the Wilds, Mayla, assisted Razkar in working the Power of Bones on it.

Positive Effects: Depending on when or where the helm is donned and what the wearer is focusing on, he or she may have one of the following abilities: heightened agility in daylight, improved vision at night, or the ability to comprehend the basics of the Dhani language of Snake-Tongue.

Negative Effects: When worn for too long – several bells or more – the wearer will begin to loath, then hate, and then finally be consumed by an overwhelming urge to cause harm to those not of the same race. At this point, the wearer's strength and speed will increase with their rage, but they run the risk of going insane the longer the helm is worn.

Mental and Physical Quirks
Blood Song

The civilized niceties of Syliras will, on occasion, be more annoying than usual. After relishing this battle henceforth Razkar will feel the strong urge to shed blood in a ritualistic manner. This urge can be ignored when Razkar concentrates but can only be fully purged with careful meditation.

Ghosts Of Feeling

Having had so much contact with such a powerful Ghost the nerves in your right shin are permanently numb. If you so choose this can only be reversed by a Mark 3 Healer of Rak’Keli but only after several sessions and extensive physical therapy.

Cheva’s Gift

If ever the Goddess of Love smiled upon a fated union it would be between Razkar and Edreina. Though the world is harsh and its troubles many both may share in this knowledge: each is comforted by the other’s presence. For Razkar, Edreina is the calm within the storm. When she is near protective instincts flare but she also brings with her the freedom of just… being himself. With that though there are certain… urges.

Scar Memory

Self-inflicted by Razkar during a prayer session to Myri on behalf of his troubled friend Tinnok, the thin scar on his right palm that forever smells faintly of ash and iron.

My Words | Your Words | Myrian | Fratavan | My Thoughts
Razkar has been cursed by Yahal, and as such finds little acceptance from others; they will instinctively view him as being deceptive and traitorous. However, when close to one blessed by Yahal, the effect is negated. The curse is etched onto his left pectoral, and viewing the mark causes others to feel dirty and unclean.

Relationships

Name Relationship
Edreina Razkar's lover, partner and closest friend. Though the Svefra is his opposite in many ways and their relationship has been sorely tested by recent events, the Myrian loves her like no other.
Tinnok Tinnok occupies a confusing but irreplaceable portion of Razkar's heart. Mayhap there would have been more than just friendship between them, but even without romance, his concern and attempted protection toward the Dhani-Myrian in the bigoted world of Falyndar speaks volumes about what he does feel.
Ayatah Aya was Razkar's first love, and now his lamented intended. The curious Myrian left the jungle to study in Zeltiva, and has vanished to the Isle of Darva. Though Razkar now loves Edreina and has admitted to himself he is "over" Ayatah, he still frets constantly about her survival.
Vanator The first "Horse Lord" that Razkar met during his time in and around Riverfall, the burly blonde Drykas certainly grew on him. They fought Zith and sparred together, parting as unlikely friends when Razkar "moved on" to Syliras.
Kavala Razkar met the Konti healer only briefly while he defended Sanctuary from a Zith attack, but he was impressed by her coolness under pressure and her skill with the crossbow (much as he hates that weapon).
Leo Varniak Razkar has... complicated feelings for the Champion of Ivak. While he is in his debt for saving him and all the others struggling against a Zith horde besieging Sanctuary, he remembers in grisly detail the devastation done to his people in the Djed Storm of 512, and wants the human to pay for what he sees as egotistical meddling.
Riaris Dovukalis The bombastic and ambitious Akalak initially came off as boorish to Razkar, challenging sparring partner or not. But after riding together as scouts for a Drykas/Akalak sortie against an approaching Zith horde, the two developed a firm respect for each other was warriors.
Uleru If Razkar has made one true enemy in his travels beyond Falyndar, it would be in the shimmering form of the Otani Uleru. She initially disliked the savage for his influence on her lifelong-friend Edreina, and after a confrontation between them led to a brawl with lethal intent and a whale dead at Razkar's hand, she has sworn undying hatred of him.
Fubuki Kouri Razkar is of two minds about the unhinged ghost-Vantha. On one hand, he does pity her for being lost, confused and alone between life and death... but he still knows she is unhinged, and a child imbued with near-godlike power is a terrifying individual. On the whole, he is cordial towards her, and concentrates on getting away from her as fast as he can.
Shiress The bubbly and wily barmaid was a welcome surprise to Razkar when he met her in Syliras. After efficiently demolishing a young tough menacing her, the two spent a pleasant day together and Razkar left her hoping they would cross paths again some day.
Kreig Messer Perhaps the closest male friend Razkar made during his stay in Syliras was the wild and woolly human squire Kreig. They sparred several times, the human learning a few very un-Knightly combat moves from the merciless Myrian, and while they pick and needle at each other constantly, there is certainly a degree of respect and camaraderie there, too.
Kaie One of only three Children of Myri Razkar has met in the barbarian lands (thus far), Kaie seemed to look up to the older, veteran warrior and agreed at once to follow him on a mission to attack and liberate a slaver convoy. They engaged in a brutal spar not long after, and both seemed to bond in the way of traveling minorities the world over.
Markus Andres The second Syliran Knight Razkar has fought, Markus was still first in the intensity of their duel. A sparring session that grew into a furious, grueling contest that is still talked about among the squires, it cemented Razkar's opinion of Markus as a fine warrior, and the Knights as worthy (if naive) proponents of Blessed Myri's sacred War.
Matthew Razkar was apprehensive and standoffish towards the aloof and sophisticated "escort" of Syliras, but the young man's charm and sincerity eventually won him over. Though he is still a little jealous of his bond with Edreina, he's since come to appreciate his company.
Ignotus Everto Definitely the most enigmatic and potentially dangerous mortal Razkar has met in the barbarian lands, the shadowy Nuit has engaged the Myrian's services as an assassin. Neither employer or employee fully trust the other, but as long as bodies keep dropping and coin is paid, what problems could there be?
Clyde Sullins A powerful mage whom Razkar took for a bumbling dilettante, Clyde was an education for the Myrian: things are not always what they seem. Razkar is in debt to the human for a kindness Clyde did him... but a mage's favor never comes without strings.
Jax Bradshaw Jax is a painfully-cocky Sunberth street rat with visions of being a feared name in the chaotic city's underworld. Though currently at the low end of the crime pool, he helped Razkar accomplish a dangerous mission, fought by his side and often gets training from the Myrian.
Huskabar Skorn A wizened and embittered old mage of the streets, Razkar had the dubious honor of being briefly tutored by "Husk", learning the existence of fascinating and dangerous "Morphing". They parted amiably enough, but the still-naive Razkar was left with little idea of just how rotten the "Elder" is in his core.

Razkar of the Shorn Skulls

Postby Razkar on March 3rd, 2014, 1:00 pm

Image
General Information :
1. What is your Name?
Razkar of the Shorn Skulls, Son of Yurta and Zek, Warrior of Taloba and Child of Myri. But I usually go by Razkar.

2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name?
Yes. [beat] No, you can't.

3. How old are you?
I have seen twenty-seven Summers.

4. What is your height?
A hair over six feet, last time I checked.

5. What is your weight?
Honestly, why does that matter? Take a look at me. See? I weight as much as I need to.

Aesthetics :
1. Describe yourself as you see yourself.
*long pause* I have given you my name. It covers pretty much everything you need to know.

2. Describe yourself as others typically see you.
That depends on your definition of "everyone". To my clan and race, I am a warrior for Myri. To all those outside... well, the word "savage" is tossed around quite regularly.

3. What is your favorite body feature?
My ink, of course. They all tell a tale, minor or major. Most of all, though, is the Eye of Myri on my brow. Through it She sees my actions in Her name.

4. How physically fit are you?
Again, by whose standards? To humans, I suppose I am faster and stronger and hardier than average. To my people... I would say I am the average, but we strive daily to surpass that.

5. How do you typically dress and what is your style?
You see what I'm wearing? That should answer both questions.

Family :
1. Who are your parents and what are they like?
Yurta and Zek of the Shorn Skulls. My mother, Yurta, was claimed in battle in six Summers past. My father lives, as far as I know. Both were strong, unforgiving... but I never doubted I was loved.

2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Sev-... Six. Six, now. Five sisters and a brother.

3. What is your extended family like?
Extensive. They are mostly among the Shorn Skulls, perhaps... forty souls, all told. There are some cousins who married outside the clan.

4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
*long pause, frowns* That depends on how "close" they are when it matters.

5. Do you treat animals like family?
No. I treat them with respect, as befits all those who revere Caiyha. That said, they are animals, and if my belly needs to be filled or pests eradicated, then so be it.

Location :
1. Where were you born?
The clan lands of the Shorn Skulls, in Falyndar.

2. Where do you live now?
Wherever my work takes me.

3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be?
*puzzled blinking* Among my people. Where else?

4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time?
*pause, eye contact breaks for a moment* Anywhere my love can be found, that is a place of contentment for me. *regains composure* Other than that, training my body and my skill with arms or the wyrd has always been my best relaxation. A good roll of parchment comes a... middle-distance second.

5. Where do you fear to be?
Any place where I cannot control or affect events. Nothing is so fearful as being helpless.

Traits :
1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?)
I have more scars than I can count, as you can plainly see. As for anything else? No.

2. Are you right handed or left handed?
My right is dominant, but I can use both, if pressed.

3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent?
We've been talking for some time now: do you think I have an accent? I speak the tongue of Blessed Myri, the Common tongue and with my love's help, I am learning Fratava, too.

4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
*thoughtful pause, frowns* I drum my fingers on my hilt of my gladius when impatient, and... I am told, that I have a habit of... ahem... hogging the bed. As to their "oddness", well, I frequently scalp and devour my enemies corpses. That probably counts, at least in barbarian eyes.

5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ?
*deadpan stare* Take a wild guess. As to the why... many of them are of... significance, to my clan and my people. The rest are commemorations. Enemies slain, victories gained, friends, lovers...

Occupations :
1. What is your occupation?
Warrior. For Myri above all, and for coin in these lands.

2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
In dislike the... narrow nature, of sellsword work. Most times it lacks the breadth and glory of true warfare. Guarding caravans or working as a hired killer for merchants or gang leaders is hardly noble work... but it does satisfy the Goddess-Queen. As long as she is sated with my deeds, my own concerns are of secondary import.

3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
As I am now, only stronger, wiser... and more skilled in the wyrd arts. Mages seem to infest this world, and they are drunk on their powers beyond sharp iron and honed flesh.

4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
Hmm... interesting question. Perhaps... yes. A smithy. The ability to crafts arms, armor, tools, almost anything from hunks of dirty ore... to bend such matter to your will with fire and water and strength, crafting it into masterpieces... yes, that is a truly admirable trade.

5. What occupation do you lest like? Why?
Any that deals in falsehoods and preys on fear or weakness. Such behavior is fit only for the Ancient Enemy, and they are fit only for extinction.

Childhood :
1. What sort of child were you?
*soft smile* Like most others, I imagine, only Myrian.

2. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
Hmm... I would say... any time spent with my mother. She was strong and fierce and hard... but her wisdom was... *shakes head*

3. What is your worst memory from childhood?
*face becomes stony again* One I do not wish to share with a stranger.

4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents?
A good one, vague as that might sounds. They loved and guided me; I loved and obeyed and respected their words and actions. I got my rear tanned a few times, but what child didn't?

5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
Based on my previous answers, I think you can guess that.

Education :
1. What sort of education do you have?
We are instructed in weapons and unarmed combat shortly after we learn to walk. That continues into adolescence, along with military tactics and history, until we are old enough to train with the Taloba Army. *head cocks to one side* Ah. I suspect you are referring to education outside the martial, hmm? Of course we are taught to read and write our language, mathematics, the geography of Falyndar and what lands we know beyond it. My clan is far from scholarly, I have no problem admitting it. We are warriors; our education begins and ends with how best to wield a blade, and knowing the best time to do so.

2. Do you like/dislike learning?
*grimaces* I hated long division. And the kind where you use letters instead of numbers.

3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities?
I have told you.

4. How do you learn best?
Practical application. Book learning did not come easily to me, but now I can speak the Common tongue, I am educating myself in certain arts of the wyrd from tomes.

5. What are your educational goals for the future?
To learn more of the world's tongues and master the wyrd I have chosen to learn. *sudden pause* Although... the more I experience the world beyond the jungle, its peoples and history and places, the more I seek to learn of them. *soft chuckle* I suspect my love is rubbing off on me...

Relationships :
1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not?
Such bonds are not a good idea, when you slay for pay, as it were. But those who prove worthy of my trust and respect? Yes. I do.

2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not?
No, and because it is a good way to end up dead.

3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else?
*frowns* What do those terms mean? *face creases in stunned incomprehension as explanation is given* N-No! I... I mean... the first one! Females!

4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time.
*jaw drops slightly* I have been walking the world with all my parts in order for close to thirty years. What do you think? My first was... someone no longer in my life.

5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time.
*grimaces* Is this an interview or a bordello? Next question!

Drugs and Alcohol :
1. Have you ever been drunk? If so, describe your first time.
*barks with laughter* My sister and I stole out of bed one night when I was twelve and sneaked a half-empty bottle of lethshine from the elders at the campfire. We ended up very drunk and very sick very quickly... and, of course, as soon as we were sober, very beaten for our boldness.

2. Do you like to drink on a regular basis?
Regularly? Hmm... not especially.

3. What sort of alcohol do you prefer?
Lethshine, as brewed in the jungle. But it's very hard to get outside of Falyndar: you don't have the right trees.

4. Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? If so, which kinds and what did you think of them?
Only Taloba Grey, and my people hardly consider it a drug, as yours do. I would consider partaking of others, but... no. Such substances fuddle the mind and for a warrior, that is like taking his hands with a cleaver.

5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Be specific.
*shrugs* In moderation, I see no problem with them... but too many blind or stupid souls have a problem with "moderation".
