You are 11,000 words ahead of me! And I am sticking with this in spite of all the obstacles.

And I have obstacles: I started a week late, for one thing. And I still don't understand much of the lore, geography, magic, politics or religion of this game. And there's my newbie status-- who knows if I will vanish before I've been here 30 days? And there's the time absorbed by puttering around with box-coding. And time spent watching "Arrow" and shows like that. And I have a full-time job, (which doesn't allow Internet access) and family, and a dad in the hospital.

Still, I keep trying. I am going to keep doing this, and I hope that I'm going to succeed. It's just very hard and so I'm inspired by you and all those who keep plugging away. This Nano list... it makes me like I'm part of a community and that we're all in this together.

Ahh, me too! But I'm only at 10,000 though. It's annoying, I have so many ideas in the evening, and then... Idea-less. O.o but roleplaying is about having fun, right?

November 17th. Congrats Syveris! Guys, the point of NaNo is to go with the flow and silence your inner editor (for a while, at least). Sometimes a blank page is the biggest hurdle to overcome. Why don’t you try to just start a thread and go with the flow? It’s easier if you have a writing partner! Also, today we passed our word count for NaNo 2011 - and it’s only the 17th. You’re doing great!

Tarot is right. Maybe the NaNo challenges and Seasonal Goals can help too. They are hard to do, sometimes, but they offer a great potential of developing your characters (sometimes in ways you hadn't even thought), and are always a great way to have an idea for a thread.
