Additional Comments: Question: Does Wind Reach require shelter? What I mean is, should I take the extra 100 pinions off my character sheet and add some shelter, because I thought that the youth area provided the shelter but I could be mistaken...

The Valintar will provide you with a place to live money free in the Darvina Commons. He'll also put you to work or assign you. I'll have the location up tomorrow so you can post there.

In the mean time just assume you have a small chamber 400 sq feet, in the Commons that's your own.

Please note...

If you are coming to WR, even if you are somehow flying - you will be challenged by Eagle Riders and probably in mass. You cannot simply just 'appear' in Wind Reach. You must post at the Gates post and enter this way. I will mod (or Dreamcatcher will) any of these 'challenge' threads that we need too. So, if you post in the Character Registry... please note you cannot just 'magically' appear.

If you are new to the city, be sure to post at the Sanikas Gates. Don't just post your character registry info and not pass through the gates. Thanks!

My pc is a Symenestra with high silk weaving abilities, is she allowed to be an upper rank despite being a Symenestra? Another question, what if your pc started living in the city years ago, do you post it as a flashback or just timestamp the year it took place in the post?

If you have a high level of skill, you can indeed be an Avora or at least a Chiat. You have to go to the Valintar and prove to him your worth to achieve your rank though... You can flashback to do this certainly unless you were born here and preapprove it with me. That's fine also. I've always said Symenestra were welcome in Wind Reach as long as the males especially behaved themselves. I don't see females as a problem at all. They aren't going to go causing mischief like the boys would.

Drusilla will behave. She's a runaway looking for a home, and very people shy. She has 30/100 in silk weaving.

So I post in the Valintar, and do a flashback of her entering the city. Ok, I'll get to it!
