Closed Familiar Faces [Ball]

The Konti nodded and it took her a few moment to brainstorm on where they should head to get some food. She still had no idea what Pycons ate, but since Ball wasn’t being specific about it, she decided on the fact that they ate the same things as Konti.

“The Rearing Stallion sounds like a good choice,” she said as she pointed towards one of the streets. She had passed by it earlier that day. Nira’lia had never been there before but she knew that they served meals, and it was the closest place she could think of.

Nira’lia led the way. She hummed a tune as she did so, not really knowing what else to say to Ball. Nonetheless, she as happy to be next to someone familiar… even if she couldn’t find much words to share between them.

They soon arrived at the tavern. There was a red and white sign with a stallion on it. It hung there, letting people know about the tavern. Smiling, Nira’lia gestured for Ball to go right in. There was some noise coming from within, although it wasn’t too much. It was starting to get dark and soon the rowdiness would increase, but that wasn’t obvious yet.

Ball followed Nira to the Rearing Stallion, normally the squired pycon ate his meals at the barracks. This would be a change of scenery and company, a good change to be completely honest. Ball led her into the establishment’s doors, it was only right to have the male escort her into a place that could very easily turn rowdy. The pycon paused before entering and ushering Nira in, he had to leave Imass outside unfortunately. Hopping down he looked at the dog and pointed to the ground. The dog turned in a circle a few times and then dropped heavily into a laying position.

Once the dog was settled Ball pushed the heavy door open and then waved Nira in. Once she was in he let the door close and allowed her to pick location, “I. Bi.” [‘I buy.’] The squire nodded, it was seen in his mouth’s appearance that he wouldn’t take no for an answer. Once they found a place to sit Ball had to first climb the chair then jump up, grab the ledge of the table, and hoist himself onto the tabletop so he could both see his companion and any food. Not to mention potential attackers.

Interesting interaction. I found it cute that Ball named his mount after an old friend, and the dynamic between the Konti and the Pycon was very energetic and sweet. I also found myself hoping Nira'lia would find a lead on Imass!
